hp is the result of torque * rpm. you'd be getting to 60 quicker with a bigger engine than a smaller engine that revs out this high. I love my civics don't get me wrong. Also i think you might know this by now.
@@POVShotgun The size of the engine has nothing to do with acceleration (besides being heavy). The only thing that matters is HP and suitable gear ratios for the available torque. So NO a bigger engine WILL NOT get you faster to 60. If two cars (one small engine high rpm and the other the opposite) have the same power, weight, grip etc and proper gear ratios they will reach 60 at the same time.
Not neccesarily true, EK hatches can go upwards of 280-300 kp/h with the right gearing and/or a k20 6 speed. With noticably less power than other cars require to reach these speeds :}

@@NAmania yeah spot on! Power is a measure of work done over a period of time. So basically they will reach that speed at the same time
