    I would love to see ideas to help the hand. I mostly recovered except for the hand, which is slow going. Although I continue to learn to be faster with my feet and such. I went to african dance class for the first time. Exciting that I could keep up. You've been a big part of my recovery over the last sixteen months. From wheelchair to dancing and riding horses again.

      Hello. I recently had a medulla stroke on Father's Day of this year. At the end of my decline, I couldn't use my entire left side. As of August 25th, I am back at work on light duty. I don't know if this will help you in some way. I can tell you what I did to get my hand to work from grasped fingers to a fully open hand.

    Overemphasis on all things physical; little discussion on the underlying medical & scientific results of ischemic cerebral strokes. The complete picture would give stroke survivors a more realistic perspective outlook on their prospects of any meaningful recovery.

    I am going to make one of these to help my shoulder. I broke the head of my humerus off last year and it’s still not back to normal.
    I am desperate to find something I can do for bilateral foot drop. It’s the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I’d give anything to be able to walk again.

    Hello, just for a suggestion to avoid risk of injury from each end of the pvc butter , you can find at the hardware store some kind of round foam wich they aha have a slut and con bu ustilised to slide in each end of the pvc this way you won’t have sharped edges and risk of cut ! The foam can also be utilized to glue inside to rest the arm on a smooth area ! Have a very nice day Tara !

    Great info. Thank you. Would you recommend this type exercise if someone still has "zero" arm movement. Example: family member would do the slow/east movements while the patient's arm was resting in the cradle area of the skate?

    • @rehabhqofficial
      @rehabhqofficial  Год назад

      Absolutely! This is the perfect tool for someone who has little to no movement. One exercise I didn't show is setting the table up on a decline. Than you can use gravity to assist movement. I hope that helps!
