I have to agree….they are AWESOME cards…they shuffle very well, deal very well etc…they are very flexible for riffle shuffling etc….I LOVE them. I remember them from when I was younger. My parents had them from playing crib/bridge etc (learned how to play crib from my mom). Love the feel and the durability of them. Never heard of Cellulose Acetate but it sounds very cool.
I haven’t gotten these yet but I remember seeing them on the High Stakes Poker and The Big Game! What stood out the most to me was the skin coloring on the face cards! I know it’s a small detail but it makes a big difference!
That was my exact reaction to seeing the joker when I opened my first Kems. I even returned the first box because I thought the pixelated jokers were a misprint, but no, the second set had the same exact thing going on. Definitely not something I'd expect to see on a $40 set, but hey, the cards feel nice and play well, so O.K.
These are used in the movie Rounders at Teddy's place. They are good for poker because they last and are resistant to bending and damage. They do absorb moisture a little and hand oils, so can smell. They are water proof and can/should be washed, but gently or the color can fade.
Can you answer a question about KEM playing cards? A family member was a collector, we have a double pack of KEM playing cards (leaf design) and there are 51 face cards in each deck (plus the 2 jokers and an informational card). Why would there be only 51 face cards? Missing card in each deck?

I bougth kem cards just to have to my collection, i wish they feel great like you described ill comment it after i get The deck
In my opinion, the best plastic playing card decks is the Cartamundi and Copag ones. This KEM ones not bad, just the design is not my taste.
Kem cards are of course great… until they start to curve and getting wobbly…. Good luck to all that yours stay accurate
Can you please check if all the index and pictures print in middle.
Does the colour fade away over time with the repeated use and greasy hands?
Has anybody had problems with their cards cracking and flaking where it looks like glitter on the poker table? I bought two of the two packs and all four decks are doing it my Copeg cards have never done anything like that.

KEMs are the best when they are new but as soon as they warp they are useless. Such a shame…
Kem cards are so beautiful EXCEPT for those atrocious, awful jokers. Why don't they replace them?
