You can get enough decks. We can't. In Europe, and specially in East Eaurope, we get nothing. For example in Bulgaria there are 4 or 5 websites where we can get cards. The best of them has 133 different decks only. Half are crap. Like DB D&D Ellusionist - forget about them. If you find a nice deck like the Lions or Gators, they will be in triple price....

I’m definitely buying both your decks! I got into cards in May of this year because of your videos. I screwed up and preordered two bricks of those Fontaine undercover cards that came out recently and feel like I have to use them since I paid so much. They don’t feel great at all (too thick for my taste) so it’ll be nice to have some new decks to play with!

If you streaming card games I highly recommend balatro, it's a crazy game that has a socring system based on poker hands but with so many twists to it, so much fun

Nothing is worse than 2 decks in a collection and the only difference is a colour change on the card backs and tuck. Its lazy in my opinion. Release one deck and stay true to the consumer!

The original "Back to School" deck was better. Don't like this back design, would've preferred the crayon backs. Starting to be annoyed by the "only USPCC can do cards right" sentiment. If that's what you require, just buy USPCC and save your money.

The Hanafuda Daitoryo deck has the portrait of Napoleon on the box. Daitoryo translates to president but they have Napoleon's face. He was not a president but an emperor. It is said to be Nintendo's top of the line deck. They obviously patterned the Mario deck after the Daitoryo deck. It does take some getting used to determine which cards of the standard deck correspond to the cards of the Mario deck. One combination, for example, is the deer-boar-butterfly combination. The deer corresponds to the Lucky Cat Mario. The boar corresponds to the Tanooki Mario. The butterflies correspond to the Cape Mario. The back of the Hanafuda deck is either red or black. The instructions in Nintendo decks are for the game play of Koi Koi. It's a two-player game where you gain points by coming up with combinations before your opponent can. Among Japanese immigrants in Hawaii, the Hanafuda can be used to play sakura. They do have an adapted Hanafuda deck that has symbols to help you keep track of the value of the cards better. Sakura can be played by two to eight players and points are scored by getting cards with higher values while trying to get combinations on the side.

USPCC is great but the company is horrendous as far as always having major centering issues with the card backs /with the borders.The cutting process needs attention badly. This was a great review.The Lofi deck is my favorite of the two by X DECKS.

They’re amazing but really throw my hands off with how thin they are! Anyways, you do great stuff! always looking forward to the next drop!

Its of centered so when you play poker you dont have to bend the card too much

I hope you took off the protective plastic on the "glass" holding the coin. It becomes much clearer and you can display the set correctly. 😊 I got these and it is a lovely set.

There are elements of this deck i really like but i just find some of the line work in the faces so poor (beevis and butthead vibes)

They moved them to the gift shop because they realized that cheats could mark the cards by scratching off some of the coloring and I think that was due to the fact that one side was embossed and the other wasn’t if I’m getting the terminology right. Dominique Duvier is the French magician that bought what he says was 100 cases which is 14,400 decks. Not to get too technical, but 1970 isn’t exactly antique lol but nevertheless, it’s one deck that is still on my wish list and hope to have it very soon

I’m also not a fan of these little extras like coins and things like that. If you have to add a bunch of tchotchkes to your decks, then maybe you need to redesign. Then again, maybe I should just stay in my antique corner lol

TGW’s logo would benefit him if he did more of an early 1900s style deck maybe like a old tiny barbershop theme or something along those lines. You know that type of font that was used back then. Very few are doing anything with the old styles.

I’m not a fan of TGW personally, but these cards are kind of nice. They don’t seem to be game playable and I don’t think they are worth $100. Everything he has put out looks very similar. Or at least has similar themes if you will. I think if he engaged with the community more, rather than only show up when it’s time to put out a new deck, it might benefit him more. I do know that he has a new live show, but it looks like he hasn’t had one in over a month. So I don’t know if that’s hit a standstill or what.
