    The Copaq's have an interesting feature. When. dealt on a smooth surface they slide further face down - to reach the player. But when face up, they stick to stay on the board. Try it on a glass surface. This feature does tend to wear out after a while.

    I'm stoked that you like the Copags. They're personally my favorite plastic decks out of the ones I've tried. I really don't mind the smell, but I'm one of the weird ones who likes the smell of gas stations.

    Nice review. Copag is PVC and KEM cellulose acetate, hence the smell. I like the Copag very much just like the KEM. Played years with Copags in my homegame. However, the ink on Copag tends to fade over time. Not a problematic but noticable. When you think of plastic cards try Fournier (Spanish) or Modiano (Italian). The Modiano is has the most sturdy cards. Don't think because of that, their premium cellulose acetate cards are like KEMS. But the ink is very deep and beautiful.

      @DiggoDecks  2 года назад +1

      Awesome thanks for the info! I actually did a review of the Modiano cards as well and have 2 more reviews left of plastic playing cards to go. I will then do a final comparison of all of them. I'll make sure to mention your comments on the COPAG. Also, regarding the Fournier I haven't been able to find any poker cards but rather the traditional Spanish ones with swords and stuff. Any idea if they also make Poker style cards? I'm gonna do a review of the traditional ones.

      @@DiggoDecks Ebay and Amazon UK have Fournier as far as I know, but they are expensive compared to my local store where they go for $9. We used two types for our poker games - the 2500s with standard index and the 2800s with jumbo.

    As poker player and sleight of hand cardistry fan , these are built for different purpose, when people play cards they bend them, hold them tightly, peek at them at a steep angle and they always revert back to normal and hold their shape, that’s why card players love em. As for “magicians” I hate these and love USPCC cardstock, so smooth and fans excellent. These u can beat up and they’ll last a long time. You’d literally have to fold them in half lol. and as I was watching this video he said the same thing briefly. The smell will go away eventually, and they feel a lot more thicker. Also they have a bunch of cool new back designs.

    first, i also thought the standards feel cheap, but over a short amount of time they've got better to my suprise. Since then i used the deck for about a month and a half or so and there durable i can tell. the ink comes of a little but in my opinion: for the cheapest option, the best option.
    edit: which is also another plus for me, is that they put a double back into the standards, bicycle for example does not

    I "air out" my Copags, you just have to leave them all out in a spare room like on a rug or something for 1 day, flip them leave them out 1 day, and then they're very barrable unless you jam your nose up in them.
    I love your reviews.

    I have a huge deck collection. In general Copag's are not bad cards, but they are very often ridiculously overpriced. However, Copag is not the only one who takes advantage of playing card collectors and consumers.
