Great video. I also like to add ground Italian sausage and a half a can of cream of mushroom soup to my meatloaf. The sausage gives it an earthy kick and the mushroom soup adds flavor and moisture.

Great video Gina! I love Meatloaf and make it once a month. I have used the recipe on the back of the Quaker Oats box since 1976 when I was first learning to cook. I always add ketchup in the mixture. I have also used steak sauce or barbecue sauce, I put a topping of ketchup, brown sugar, and yellow mustard. I have also spooned a can of cream of mushroom soup on top. I cook my meatloaf in the crock pot on a rack with a half a cup of water to keep it from drying out. So good!

Another great topping for your meatloaf as weird as it may sound is a small can of tomato sauce, half cup of brown sugar and a tsp or two of apple cider vinegar 😀😋 my mom's meatloaf! Thanks Ms. Gina for another great recipe and prayer.
That meatloaf did look good. I have always made my meatloaf a little bit different. I have never used corn flakes, heavy cream, or mustard. And I usually don’t cook my peppers and onions before I mix them in the meat, but I will definitely do that the next time I make a meatloaf. And I usually put some ketchup and a little sugar in my sauce to spread on the top of the meatloaf.

What “grade” ground beef do you use? The recipe I have uses 90% but ends up dry. If I use 80% I end up pouring off 2-cups of grease.
