And for some reason they decided to make Jericho an adult while de-aging Raven, eliminating all the opportunity for Jericho and Raven to develop a close friendship like they had in the NTT, which imo was a highlight of their characters, as they supported and understood each other deeply. Like, they kept Dick and Kori's relationship while neglecting the potential for a close friendship between Jericho and Raven. I guess they didn't want this relationship to overshadow Damian's limited decent interactions with her. Then again, that Raven felt like she mostly wasn't allowed to interact with anyone not named Damian.

9:12, I find it hard to believe that a small stab wound would incapacitate Batman, while in the museum fight against the three Talons, who were pushing him more than this one, Bruce sustained multiple slashes, stabs and wounds, yet he continued to fight.

Yeah dcamu universe felt more of Batman universe then the entire dc universe as a whole which drives me crazy because there are so many other characters who deserves a movie way more then just Batman at least in my opinion.
That's why I think Tomorrowverse should have been a soft reboot. It focuses on the other characters, like the JSA or the Legion, and provides backstory and context for heroes like Batman and Superman by focusing on their early days which wasn't even shown in Dcamu even though Batman had like 4 movies to his own. Maybe change the art style a bit to make it more eye pleasing, add new characters and then allow it to continue.

Justice League Dark should've been attached to Wonderwoman since day 1. One her main antagonists is literally Circe, she literally fights mystical and mythological creatures and entities.

Jason O'Mara is my third favorite Batman voice actor he's no Kevin Conroy but he's close. If anyone should be Kevin's successor it's Jason O'Mara or Bruce Greenwood.
On a somewhat related note, I feel like Troy Baker is the best Joker after Mark Hamill, so he gets my vote for that. And of course Tara Strong is the best Harley except maybe Arleen Sorkin, the OG. Isn't it also the same universe where we're about to get the Teen Titans vs The Trinity but Batman injects himself with enough tranquilizer to kill an elephant or something to take himself out of the fight, and then Damian is like, "Thank GOD. We would've lost if father hadn't done that!" And then the Titans beat WONDER WOMAN AND SUPERMAN? Lol. Like Batman is the real threat. Goddamn. I love Batman so I like to use that as a bit of a feat. Damian didn't even seem worried about 2/3rds of the Trinity. It's like in Naruto when Hiruzen is like, "Crap, Orochimaru is summoning the Hokage! I can't let him summon the 4th!" And then he proceeds to fight Orochimaru, Hashirama, and Tobirama, and does pretty well despite being past his prime. Except worse, because Batman gets put ABOVE SUPERMAN AND WONDER WOMAN. Like, I think at that point, Batman could solo all of Naruto lmao.
Pretty much but the Flash is also present, however the Titans don't really fight the Justice League because the first thing they do break Trigon's control over Superman by stabbing him with the kryptonite shard Batman keeps in his belt and Superman is actually the one who takes on The Flash and Wonder Woman.
I like most of the movies. Though Dark Apokolips War is a bit too somber for my take. I kinda don't feel like watching my childhood heroes, tortured, gored and enslaved. But also as a huuge Nightwing fan, god damn does he get disrespected in these movies. Him losing to Scarecrow in that one movie really just dissapointed me, like he as never seen fear gas before?? Also why don't they bring masks when fighting these chemical warfare villains???? I know James Gunn loves Damien, I have a suspiction these movies has something to do with it. So I'm only hoping Nightwing actually gets to be a hero in his own right in the new movies.

Batman is in justice league dark for 2 reasons. 1: I promise you ordinary people have no idea who the justice league dark is, or anyone of the characters on that team. So Batman is there because everyone knows and likes Batman. He brings in people who don’t know what it is 2: he played a veerrryyyyy small role in that film. He was pretty much just there as the audience surrogate so that characters could explain to him what’s happening.
Spittin tbh. But honestly i dislike most of the Batman movies in this universe with a passion with my favorite being Son of Batman. Batman vs Robin is a butchering of the original Court Story and Batman and Robin new 52 vol1 "Born to Kill" they take Damian as he was in that story which was slightly at odds with his father but still shows his loyalty in the end and basically trash it. And then Bad Blood yeah the terrible characterization of Talia on top of it barely focusing on the family's dynamics and instead just focused on Kate mostly and treating Nightwing like a punching bag

One thing I agree with is how poorly they handled the subject. Talia says in Bruce's face that she violated him, and then the story acts like it didn't happen and later it's only brought up as a joke.
I love this universe but they needed more side movies for the other leaguers hopefully they make some type of return or cameo in Crisis on Infinite Earths part 2 or 3

Broooo, You NEED to cover Batman the Audio Adventures. Sure it is on hiatus atm but with 2 seasons and a midquel comic? That is easily some of the best Batman content period.
It's hard being a DC fan if your favorite character is NOT Batman. They don't portray anyone else in such a positive light. But he's their cash-cow so i get it.
While the new52 was a far cry from the earlier movies, they weren't that all bad. I actually enjoyed quite a few of them with the Death of Superman being my favorite
I am just gonna be honest here the only animated version of Dick Grayson that was actually peak was Robin/Nightwing in the 2003 Teen Titans show you see that was what Dick Grayson should have been in the DCAU
As a Batman fan, too many solo Batman movies & they focused on the Bat family. I wanted a solo solo Batman movie 😂. And barely any other solo hero movies . The WW movie had bad animation imo bc WB didn’t give them enough money. And I do think animation should be as long as a 2 hr movie. It would certainly flesh out some characters.

It's like getting getting a ton Of Anime Live-action adaptation like Netflix Death Note, It's a statement to call it as anime feast as a fan getting a ton of live-action and content but I would still watch It regardless until I get the right one. As the Many And Elseworlds Batman animated movies and stories are appreaciated.

these movies where my first introduction to Damian Wayne which encouraged to start reading the comics and he instantly became my favorite robin he may come of as brash and arrogant but under all that is lost child wanting to be loved by his father

On a somewhat related note, I feel like Troy Baker is the best Joker after Mark Hamill, so he gets my vote for that. And of course Tara Strong is the best Harley except maybe Arleen Sorkin, the OG. (Tbh, I'm so used to Tara and don't really remember Arleen, so I wouldn't really fight anyone over their preference between those two either way)

Isn't it also the same universe where we're about to get the Teen Titans vs The Trinity but Batman injects himself with enough tranquilizer to kill an elephant or something to take himself out of the fight, and then Damian is like, "Thank GOD. We would've lost if father hadn't done that!" And then the Titans beat WONDER WOMAN AND SUPERMAN? Lol. Like Batman is the real threat. Goddamn. I love Batman so I like to use that as a bit of a feat. Damian didn't even seem worried about 2/3rds of the Trinity. It's like in Naruto when Hiruzen is like, "Crap, Orochimaru is summoning the Hokage! I can't let him summon the 4th!" And then he proceeds to fight Orochimaru, Hashirama, and Tobirama, and does pretty well despite being past his prime. Except worse, because Batman gets put ABOVE SUPERMAN AND WONDER WOMAN. Like, I think at that point, Batman could solo all of Naruto lmao.
Pretty much but the Flash is also present, however the Titans don't really fight the Justice League because the first thing they do break Trigon's control over Superman by stabbing him with the kryptonite shard Batman keeps in his belt and Superman is actually the one who takes on The Flash and Wonder Woman.

I like most of the movies. Though Dark Apokolips War is a bit too somber for my take. I kinda don't feel like watching my childhood heroes, tortured, gored and enslaved. But also as a huuge Nightwing fan, god damn does he get disrespected in these movies. Him losing to Scarecrow in that one movie really just dissapointed me, like he as never seen fear gas before?? Also why don't they bring masks when fighting these chemical warfare villains????
I know James Gunn loves Damien, I have a suspiction these movies has something to do with it. So I'm only hoping Nightwing actually gets to be a hero in his own right in the new movies.
Nightwing is always beaten so easily in adaptations >.< I really like him but like - Injustice killed out of nowhere, Arkham Knight he was kidnapped by Penguin twice in one mission, gets beaten or put to the side in basically every Batman movie he’s in >.<

Batman is in justice league dark for 2 reasons.
1: I promise you ordinary people have no idea who the justice league dark is, or anyone of the characters on that team. So Batman is there because everyone knows and likes Batman. He brings in people who don’t know what it is
2: he played a veerrryyyyy small role in that film. He was pretty much just there as the audience surrogate so that characters could explain to him what’s happening.

Spittin tbh. But honestly i dislike most of the Batman movies in this universe with a passion with my favorite being Son of Batman. Batman vs Robin is a butchering of the original Court Story and Batman and Robin new 52 vol1 "Born to Kill" they take Damian as he was in that story which was slightly at odds with his father but still shows his loyalty in the end and basically trash it. And then Bad Blood yeah the terrible characterization of Talia on top of it barely focusing on the family's dynamics and instead just focused on Kate mostly and treating Nightwing like a punching bag

@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 not really. The way Damian was conceived was how Morrison wrote it in the first volume of their run. And regarding the later retcon it doesn't make it any better either. One thing I agree with is how poorly they handled the subject. Talia says in Bruce's face that she violated him, and then the story acts like it didn't happen and later it's only brought up as a joke.
I love this universe but they needed more side movies for the other leaguers hopefully they make some type of return or cameo in Crisis on Infinite Earths part 2 or 3

As a Batman fan, too many solo Batman movies & they focused on the Bat family. I wanted a solo solo Batman movie 😂. And barely any other solo hero movies . The WW movie had bad animation imo bc WB didn’t give them enough money. And I do think animation should be as long as a 2 hr movie. It would certainly flesh out some characters.

Jason O Mara's as The Batman's voice, the writing still lacked the charms and greatness Of Batman Comic Books, well it's still way better than live-action movies but even if their Batman content has quantity, it lacks the Charm of Batman in The Batman Comic books, I wouldn't call it a delicious feast but the delicious food not made with care and done wrongly That taste weird. It's like getting getting a ton Of Anime Live-action adaptation like Netflix Death Note, It's a statement to call it as anime feast as a fan getting a ton of live-action and content but I would still watch It regardless until I get the right one. As the Many And Elseworlds Batman animated movies and stories are appreaciated.

I know Aquaman got one and that one is my favorite but back on topic i think that the only time we got to breathe without Batman being there was in teen titans the Judas contract and technically the flashpoint movie since the Batman we did see was Thomas Wayne and we only saw Bruce's Batman at the end (thank god, like actually) but other than that yeah might as well call it the animated Batman movie universe because none of the other heroes truly got a solo movie of there own without Batman being there and don't get me wrong i love Batman he's one of my favorite characters in dc but i don't like it when he's invading my Aquaman movie
