I can’t tell you how many videos I have watched on making tumblers. And your techniques are the only ones that have worked to make perfect tumblers each time! Thank you so much for making this video.! I am new to Tumbler making- and you made it much more enjoyable to make them.
I had to subscribe. I started my business recently and I have been getting a lot of ghost and seams on my tumblers and after watching your video with just one attempts everything is perfect thank you again!!!!
By far one of the best videos I have watched. Very detailed great step by step instructions. I love your technique! Thank you so much for sharing! I will be trying this out tonight!
Thank you guys so much for all of your helpful tips. Every time I’ve followed your instructions my seams are perfect and no ghosting which I struggled with every single time before your channel! Thanks so much!!
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns of course! Also that Carl paper cutter is amazing!, tysm for recommending it. I had one that wasn’t accurate at all and this one really makes less work because it’s so accurate. Thanks so much again! 🙏🏻
Sir, you save my day. After trying different tumblers and they failed. I watch your video and everything changes. Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much
Great tips on the seam lines. I have never heard of submerging in water, but I will definitely try that. My convection oven has lately burned a couple of tumblers so I need to play around with that as well. I just hate wasting materials😝
Someone who finally does it right. I did learn one extra step and I won’t be putting them in water. I like unwrapping them hot. I also like to wrap in baking paper after the print. The only thing you did that I didn’t like was the print. My birthday is Halloween. Thank you.
I'm going to be starting on doing tumblers soon and I want to find all the tricks and tips to do like you showed here. Thank you. Great job. If you find a image thatis not a PNG is there a way to make that said photo into a PNG. Or is that just the way the photo is done at first.
I am looking forward to trying this method with my heat press (without the sleeve). BUT, I wish you would have said upfront what heating device you were going to use. Thanks.
Great video! I haven't tried tumblers yet but have purchased some to start with. The ones I bought have almost 1/2 inch of plain silver above the glitter area that I want to sublimate on. Do I just bring my image up to where that begins and tape at that point?
Great video and great tips … I’m new at this too … I’ve only made like 4 so far and learning as I go … Can I ask how much to charge for each size of tumblers … I don’t want to over charge or under charge … thank you 😊
I really enjoyed the video, I only started making tumblers in the last month or so, but not done a full wrap yet as I was worried about the seam etc, I went into your Etsy shop to look for the tumbler holder, but sadly you don't post to the UK so unable to buy one 😞
Hello, this is my first time seeing your video thanks for sharing your video I truly appreciate you doing step ny step. Out of all the ones I've seen this caught my attention. So mow i have a question can I do this on A stainless steel tumbler. It's a 20.oz
Loved this and took notes! My problem is my blacks are black but not dark black - I'm using Epson 7720 - A Sub 120gsm - (Amazon premium ink) Amazon sublimation tumblers - New EENOUR Auto Rotating Tumbler Press (356/75 x 2 each side) highest pressure 75 .. My lighter colors does well.. It's the black that not black, black.. Any suggestions.. I've done test prints on 100% poly fabric and the black is black .. just different on the tumbler.. Maybe it's not good quality tumblers? Thanks
Switch to Asub 125 and black requires more time than normal colors so you may try adding 30 seconds more for the black. We purchase our tumblers from aghtumbler.com and have never had a problem with them plus they have fast delivery. Thanks for watching!
I have made a few tumblers with that taping method and i always end up ghosting on top and bottom. I dont know if the temp or time is right on my heat press
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns I’m just started to sublimation I’ve done three tumblers and I keep ghosting.thanks for the video and I’m definitely gonna order a tumbler holder off you
Thank you. That's too bad since I think the shrink wrap would help to do a super good job, but my DIL got me a tumbler press so I'm gonna have to go with that. I am glad you mentioned that because I totally would have used shrink wrap in the press....only once I guess. LOL@@SnazzyMoonDesigns
You dont need it in the tumbler press because the press closes on the tumbler pressing the sublimation paper against the design. It is used in a convection over to keep the sublimation paper pressed against the tumbler. Also the shrink wrap would probably melt in a tumbler press.
The tape on the wrong side helped tremendously! Thank you. I do have one question, you size it 9.3x8.2, and then you say you print it a little bigger. What do you mean?
It depends on the size of your tumblers. I had some tumblers that were 9.4 x 8.1 las week. So check your tumbler sizes before printing. Thanks for watching!
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns Thanks for the quick response. I did watch another video of yours on how to resize in photopea, so that’s where I would change it to 9.4x8.1, if I needed to?

So glad you mentioned not to shrink wrap if you are using a tumbler press. I am a newbie. Great video.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
On your printer do you use 8x11 paper on portrait or the other.
I have problems trying to make it but to but
Why don't you use shrink wrap in the press?

How do you do seams where the ends match, a continuous image? Thanks.
I think you mean a seamless design. The same way. Make sure that design is sized and printed correctly. Thanks for watching!

You can if it has been treated to accept a sublimation image. If it is just a plain 20 oz stainless tumbler then no. Thanks for watching!

Great video. Do you do the same process for a tumbler heat press, without wrap?
Yes I do! I have a video for that also! Thanks for watching!
I have made a few tumblers with that taping method and i always end up ghosting on top and bottom. I dont know if the temp or time is right on my heat press
I actually wrap my tumblers in aluminum foil after I put the shrink wrap on, it never melts or splits 😊
I found shrink wrap that does not melt or split and works well with high temperatures! amzn.to/3Rnuq0x Thanks for watching!

Do you use Epson brand sublimation ink or some other brand in your F170?
Only Epson ink!
Thank you so much for this! Have you ever used an air fryer? If so is it the same process?

Hello I was wondering do it matter what size of the template you put the strip of the tape on
9.3 x 8.2 for a 20 oz tumbler. Thanks for watching
Newbie why can’t we use the shrink wrap with a tumbler press?
You dont need it in the tumbler press because the press closes on the tumbler pressing the sublimation paper against the design. It is used in a convection over to keep the sublimation paper pressed against the tumbler. Also the shrink wrap would probably melt in a tumbler press.
Do you make cradles for 30 Oz Tumblers?
The tumbler taping stand we sell will work for 20 oz and 30 oz tumblers. You can see it in our etsy shop! www.etsy.com/listing/1136106615
What temp do you set your heat gun on?
Tumbler looks great BTW!
My heat gun has 3 settings and I use the highest setting. Thanks for watching!

@@SnazzyMoonDesigns Thanks for the quick response. I did watch another video of yours on how to resize in photopea, so that’s where I would change it to 9.4x8.1, if I needed to?
Yes that is correct
How do you get the sublimation off if you mess up?
Why do you put them in water after baking?
We put them in water to stop the sublimation process, cool them off so they are easier to peel the shrink wrap and paper off. Thanks for watching!
How did you print the design
I use Affinity Designer to print my designs. Thanks for watching!
where can i buy that design?
It is available for purchase on Etsy! Thanks for watching!
I have tried the tape method so many times and it always gives me a white line where the seam is. Don't know what I am doing wrong.
Sometimes I get white lines if my time and temperature on my sublimation oven is not long enough or high enough. It is not always the taping method.
Yep, my very first tumbler I was so proud of how well you couldn't see the seam then I noticed I didn't turn my design upside down.
I have done that several times. Congrats on the perfect seam! Thanks for watching!
Sorry I ead texting to fast 😀 step by step and now
PYD shrinkwrap
