    my problem is when I removed the tape after the heat press, I could see the tape marks on the tumbler. Any advice, on what I might be doing wrong?>

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  9 месяцев назад

      It could be the brand of tumbler you are using or even too much pressure.

    Is there a way that you can make the rest of the image going down the tumbler? so the white little line in the bottom don't show up?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  4 месяца назад

      Yep! I tend to leave a little as it is a bit cleaner. Just size your print accordingly any tape REALLY well. It is tricky to get something that looks good that way but possible!

    Why won't the color come out vibrant? Also, the black color turns brown, and orange colors come out pink or teal colors come out light blue. What am I doing wrong?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  25 дней назад

      A brown looking black indicates that you are overcooking. Try decreasing time or temperature.

    This may be a stupid question, but I am totally new to this. My sister bought me a tumbler press for xmas last year. I have a cricut and know how to use that pretty well. I would need to purchase a sublimation printer in order use the tumbler press, correct?
    Also, can one use the tumbler press with a handled tumbler? Or, does it have to be one without a handle?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 месяца назад

      Sublimation printer would work but you could use with Infusible Ink. You can use with a tumbler that has a handle.

    Can you overheat your image? Like if I were to turn my cup seam 4 different times… up down side to side?

    Thank you! Very helpful! I'm struggling with 40oz tumblers. I want a full wrap. It stops at the handle. I' keep redoing the measurements and wasting ink and paper trying 😢 Do u have a tutorial for the 40oz tumblers

      I do not. Those would be more difficult just due to their shape.

    Angie you said the Circumference the height and the length the width is that. Correct? I thought the length is the height and circumference the width

      I mean you could say it either way I guess? Depends on how you look at it. Just orient your print the right way.

    I’m struggling to find the answer on when to use transparent on any size tumbler. I always use png only and wondering when to download the image as transparent. Is it when there is any white gaps and not a full colored background?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  9 месяцев назад

      Generally a PNG file has a transparent background. But yes it is a good practice to download them with a transparent background.

    I use sawgrass creative studio for my sublimation prints. How do you get those exact measurements? If I drag it to 9.3, the other measurement is off?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  11 месяцев назад

      That is dependent on your image size.

    Hey Angie, every time I print a design using Word with height 9.3 and width 8.2 in landscape mode and the image keeps coming out cut off a bit. Using the Epson f170. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  11 месяцев назад +1

      First are you printing in the correct orientation? Second make sure your margins that printer can handle are not too large. Third make sure you are printing actual size and not altered.

    • @Skarzx
      @Skarzx 11 месяцев назад

      @AngieHolden ended up being the margins. Once I tweaked that it worked out. Ty for answering!
