I just bought a new tumbler press and this was very helpful. I don’t sublimate a lot. But I’ve noticed on some videos people don’t use butcher paper to protect their press while sublimating. I will have to look into that. But I know the kind of paper I am using I need to wrap mine in butcher paper before I press. I’ve done mugs but I need to see what other videos you have for tumblers. Thanks for a great video.
Hi Gaby! Thank you for watching with us! People use the butcher paper to protect their machinery so color doesn't transfer. We're glad you stopped by today and if you have any questions, please let us know!
Great video and Gorgeous Tumblers. I use a lot of tape to tape my tumblers and now I realize I don't have too. Thanks for this video because I have a hard time with the seams on my tumblers.
Do you have a video that goes into details about how to print and get the printer to print tbe sizes you put in. I put in 9.3 x 8.2 but when it actually prints out, it’s less than that, therefore not fitting my Tumblr. I’m completely stomped on how to fix this.
Hi Crystal, Thank you for the video. Heaps of helpful info for me. But I was wondering can you do a video on a full wrap Sublimation tumbler on a 300z tapered tumbler like the yeti style.
How do you get there image to align? I have trouble with that so if I make a flower tumbler. I’m ending up with the flowers cut in half and not aligning at the seam.
I sublimate my tumblers on a mug press, because thats all I have at the moment. It is a challenge and the results vary from time to time depending on the weather outside, humidity levels affect the sublimation paper very bad, because of that I have to battle the steam monster. My images gas out. I plan to buy an oven for my tumblers so I can bake my ruined tumblers and re sublimate them. I might change my sublimation process to convection oven method.
Hi Erin! Crystal sizes the design so it goes right to the top to the bottom and doesn't wrap around so that's why she doesn't have to tape the bottom! - Dawn
It's so crazy that this is the first time watching you. (I need to get my seams better!) The only cup I made to practice a few months ago was your exact design with the skulls. I'm ready to try again. I just thought that was a little weird, lol

I came to learn a technique since I haven’t actually done this have ONKY JUST received my ET-2803 2 days ago but this seems like COMMON SENSE! I feel like I could have done this without the instructions. Is that weird? Or is my brain 🧠 just wired different for Crafts from my 37 years of Machine Knitting and Woodworking experience?
I find it easier to tape one edge of the seam to the top and bottom. Then when I bring the other end around, only the new edge is slipping. Taping the seam becomes so much easier.
@@DesignBundles I forgot to mention the wine rack frame from IKEA that only cost me $8. It cradles up to 4 tumblers when I'm taping the seam. It also works very well when I'm using the heat gun on the shrink wrap. Tonight, the website said "last chance to buy": IVAR Bottle rack, gray, 16 1/2x11 3/4 "
Hi Vicki! The crochet animal tape measure was from Amazon but is currently unavailable. Here is a similar listing: www.amazon.com/Measure-Handmade-Crochet-Designed-Animals/dp/B07WHV52LF/

So much information! I love it!! You just described every mistake I was making when I started making tumblers! Thank you for all the info
So, if you get different measurements for the circumference, do you just go by the biggest measurement?
How to starts at 10.45 if that is why you're here.
Put a strip of tape along one of the side edges, to prevent the overlap from bleeding through. Much faster to overlap than trimming.
What program to make the design big enough to fit

Hey there! Thank you for the suggestion! We can certainly add that to our list of tutorial ideas!

Lorraine Castellon-Rowe Hi Lorraine! Thank you for the kind words, we are happy that we were able to provide helpful tips! 😊
I struggle with this so much. What measurements do you use when you print BEFORE you cut it??? And does cutting both ends reduce the uneven seams
I would recommend measuring the size of your cup or tumbler so you have the exact measurements. - Brittany
Great Video... Best explanation of Full wrap vs SEAMLESS... !!! Thanks!
You are very welcome! We are happy to hear we could help! - Dawn 🥰
What economical printer do you suggest that would print for up to the larger, say a 30oz tumbler?
With the Sawgrass sg500 and Epson printers you can print to up to 8,5x14
Thank you for an awesome and informative tutorial Crystal ❤️ your earrings are beautiful 😍 Beautiful tumbler too 🥰 stay blessed
Thank you for the kind words Johany! We appreciate you watching with us 😊
Do you over lap the seam a bit or just have them meet in center?
Hi there! You want to have them meet so the pattern continues!

Thank you for watching, Erick! And we wish you all the best! ☃️⭐️
how did you print this off do you have to have a soft ware program
Hi there! Yes, you can print right from your Design Scape or a program like Canva! 🙂- Dawn
how well do these hold up? Do they need a coating?
Sublimation tumblers do not need coating the ink stays in forever!
Wait! That's amazing. You don't tape the top or bottom of the tumbler?
Hi Erin! Crystal sizes the design so it goes right to the top to the bottom and doesn't wrap around so that's why she doesn't have to tape the bottom! - Dawn
Another awesome video. Thank you
Hi Christine! Thank you for watching along with us. We appreciate it! 😊

Heidi Fris Hi Heidi! You're Welcome! We are glad to hear that you found the video helpful!
good video, Crystal 🔮 but I'm not into tumblers YET! TY for all your hard work...
Thank you for watching anyways, Joy! Have you used vinyl on tumblers yet? Sublimation does require a different set of equipment.
New to this such helpful tips thanks
Glad it was helpful Shelly! - Agata
Very helpful information!!
Brenda Josselet Hi Brenda! We are glad to hear that you found this video helpful! :)
Do you peel hot and why not cold
Hi there! For sublimation, we wait for the tumbler to cool so that we aren't smearing any of the design!
Thank you so much

phenomenal.

You're welcome! ❤️
How come you didn’t have to use butcher paper?
I love the skull and flower pattern ❤ They pattern on the glitter tumbler doesn’t look bad because the colors flow together on the design. Great tips
Thank you Chanel! We love the Skull pattern also! 😊
Thank you ❤️
Hi Dee! No problem! We appreciate you watching 😊
still a pretty nice seam, hard to tell unless you're really looking for it.
Thank you for watching with us today! - Dawn
To bad you can only do a certain size, and not water cans or 40 oz or 1 gallon stainless water containers.
I know what a shame!
Great technique. Way too many words. And full of contradictions.
