You answered my number 1 question. I didn't know if I had to mirror the image or not. Thanks so much. It's beautiful.
Thank you
Newbie here! As in today! I just love how easy you made this look. I have a cricket I bought 2 years ago (still in the box). I want to start small and feel as though I can do it, because of your video.
Thank you! Love to hear that
As a newbie, I haven’t even tried my equipment yet, I really appreciate this lesson and your teaching style. I like the informative chit chat and especially appreciate you’re not carrying on about nonsense. I love your style. ❤. I’m a new subscriber to your channel. I had to edit my post. So glad you found it now :)
First time subscriber. Great video
Thank you! That's really nice to hear
Thank you so much for this video. I have messed up so many tumblers due to ghosting at the top. I have learned that patience and tape is my friend. I was thinking about sending my press back, of course, it was the press and not me, LOL. I watched this video while trying one more time and no ghosting. Sweet!!!
Love to hear that! Thank you
yep mm mmm
I’m new to sublimation and silhouette. This helps alot. Thank you ❤
Love to hear that. Thank you! Such a fun craft :)

Absolutely Beautiful!

Very nice and informative! I have found that if you peel the tumbler warm, the tape and paper come off easier. Thank you!
And your nails are so pretty!!!

That's Beautiful! I'm trying to learn how to do this!
Thank you!
Thank you for making this video, it's awesome and helpful. I have a question. It seems there is glitter effect on the confetti part, how to print the glitter? Should I use a specific printer or ink? Thank you so much.
It's perfect well done.
Thank you!
Beautiful!!!
Thank you
Very informative, and the end result is great! Thank you! Might be better to see if the camera was not so close up.
Thank you for this video!!

Glad you found them :)

Hands down the best video I have seen on doing this!!! Thank you so much for making this video!! I have one question if you would please answer. When I did this my paper actually stuck to the tumbler. I had to run it under water to get the paper off. I saw somewhere it said that was due to having too much pressure? Any ideas about preventing that??!
Thank you! Hmm. I'm not sure. I wonder if it could be the paper or tumbler brand you are using? for pressure, I use a medium to medium light pressure.
Great work
Thank you
love these instruction, one question, do you bud the two ends or overlap them for seamless
I try and get it as close as I can with very very little overlap, almost none
Thank you for creating this video. Answered all my questions in a nut shell! I do have a question though about the heat press --- do you also need to purchase the attachment? I also just joined your FB Group and can't wait to learn more. Thank you sooo much for sharing!!
Love to hear that! Flat heat presses that come with mug presses are different that a tumbler press. They are for mugs. For tumblers, you want an actual tumbler press so you do t end up with ghosting :)
I am so glad I found someone who is doing videos with the PYD machine. I received mine in February and have done a few tumblers. Colors were not as vibrant but I think that was from my Sawgrass printer. Why do I sometimes get a grainy feel on my tumbler? To much pressure or heat?
Hmmm. I've not had that experience. What brand of tumbler blanks are you using?
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy I am using MakerFlo blanks.
@@debbiedeshong5602 hmm. I can't speak for that brand. I know people who use them and love them, but I do not have any personal experience with them. I use PYD life tumblers and have had a good experience with them.
Good morning. I love your tutorial. I’m new to this and I can’t figure out how you were able to select print. When I do this my crocus design space separates the name from the image.
TFS...nice job👍
thank you! :)
Nice
Thank you so much. This is awesome. Can I sublimate on glass/wood? Or must it only be tumblers? Thank you so much this video is awesome. You are such a great teacher. You kept it very simple and relaxing.
Thank you! Anything you sublimate on needs to either be polyester (fabric) or poly coated (hard surfaces) there are lots of different sublimation blanks you can get that are different base materials. To transfer the image, the sublimation ink turn to a vapor when heated to temp, that then adheres to the polyester fibers :)
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy I see. I’m sorry if I didn’t quite understand. I cannot sublimate on just the glass or do I have to cover it in polyester before doing so? I hope I articulated that question right. I just learned about this two hours ago. Never heard of this before
@@Linneydenise You don't cover it in polyester. Glass that can be sublimated comes with a polyester coating :)
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy oh ok. Thank you so much for sharing
@Linneydenise, you can sublimate on glass and wood! Look up “sublimating on glass” and “sublimating on wood” and you will see many videos showing you how to. I love sublimating on 4x4 time and 6x6 tile from Home Depot, Lowes or any place that sells tile. Easy and fun to do!
I ordered the PYD heat press after seeing your video. I love it! No more ghosting! My question is do I have to have a Silhouette membership to be able to change the letters like that? I can't find this option. Thank you!
Love to hear that!! No! I can show you how to use glyphs (the fancy letters) in silhouette studio. Do you use a PC or a mac?
absolutely gorgeous... and I don't see anything wrong with the name...
Thank you
Thanks for the tutorial. Do you think if the tumbler stays on the press longer the colours will come out more vibrant as I normally press mine for 180secs each side
This one is pretty close to the original colors of the image. Maybe though :)
I really enjoyed this video. I'm having a hard time printing a large image. I only know how to use cricut design. Do you have videos how to print larger images?
I would switch to Silhouette Studio for larger images :)
Great video! Just one question the butcher paper, what size do you normally buy? Ty
I just but whichever white butcher paper off amazon I can get the best deal on. Then I cut it down to the size I need :)
Hi, very step by step as I’m new to Silhouette. I have the Cameo 4 & I have the business edition. I have an image and attempting to adding a name however when I tried to group it was not highlighted, I wasn’t sure if I should weld it. Why didn’t my group or ungroup highlight? Thank you!
Hmmm. I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "highlighed" I've never had a grouped design be highlighted (but I may nit be understanding what you mean by that) :)
This was a great tutorial. I do have a question now on the color changing black mugs do you know why it would leave a picture of the image before it gets hot? So before you put anything in it hot you can see the image I’m just wondering if that’s normal
I haven't personally used the color change mugs yet (but want to, love the look :) )
this is beautiful! do you not have to seal this? sorry, newbie here 🥰
Thank you! Nope. Sublimation doesn't need to be sealed :)
I am so new to this, I really need a beginners video on how to download and print design.
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy Tying to learn either Silhouette or Cricut design space
What software are you printing from ?
@@joycejones6975 I can definitely add that to the list :)
I am new to this, I have bought sublimation flies from Etsy & Design bundles I can down load them but to use them is another story.
@@craftaholic-creations what program are you printing from?
so with sublimation tumblers, do u not need to seal them with anything? this is all new to me and im a new subbie. thanks for the in-depth video
No need to seal. :) definitely join our sublimation group. It's a neat addition. To your craft room :) facebook.com/groups/3099082963473677/?ref=share_group_link
Thank you for the video. So when printing do you apply fit to paper or just actual size? Meaning how to I get the white boarders on the paper to cut down? This is a 8.5x11 paper correct?
the actual size, and then cut off the white :)
I made tumblers with the same design. The name on it really makes it more elegant. Can I ask what font that is?
Yes! This one is Sweet Boho. One of my favorites
Thank you friend! Great video! Exactly what I needed!
Do you have a link to the best deal on skinny tumblers?! TIA!
Love to hear that! Umm. So, the challenge is, the best deal might not be the best quality. For ones you know will always be quality and are also reasonable, these :) #ad amzn.to/3PWwVp9
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy I love the way you think friend! I definitely want the best quality! Thanks so much!
@@lizmartinez15
I am a beginner thank you for a great informative video. I can’t find all your links where do I look?
Hi Linda! Everything is linked under the video. (click "see more" or the down arrow depending on if you are on a computer or a mobile device) that will expand and all of the links are there :)
I like the video just wish you can keep the cup more in the video
Will the design come off when washing?
Hi, I am a newbie at this to, wondering what version of heat press you used? The link shows many different kinds. thanks.
This is the 2 in 1 :) #ad amzn.to/47HOdwa
I have a question, after the sublimation on the tumbler, how long does it stay on or do we add something to put over it so it doesn't come off or fade?
You don't need to add anything over it. Sublimation is permanent:)
I might have missed it, but what size sublimation paper did you print it on? Was it a 8x10’or a legal paper size??
This is the sublimation paper I use :) #ad amzn.to/3PBmUKJ
What program do you use to work from? Not design space? Do you have a video on how to create your own images to sublimate?
Generally, I print from silhouette studio. This is how to build your own design :) ruclips.net/video/Rym7G_ZN6Tk/видео.html
Can u so a step by step how to resize ur tumbler image in ink scape as ive got Lots of images but it's sizing and printing I'm struggling with.
I don't personally use inkscape. I do most of my printing from silhouette studio :)
Please please , I’m new to tumblers and my paper won’t come off once pressed , I can see the image underneath but cannot get the paper off . I’ve soaked them which has taken a thin layer of and I’ve used alcohol and still my tumblers have this paper dull residue. Is it my sub paper , I use tru pix from sawgrass with my sawgrass printer. Thanks in advance
For me when I let the item cool for too long it is hard to get the paper off. As soon as I can touch it I take the paper off.
I opened up Silihoutte and all I have is a picture of the Matt how did you get the white background that your picture is on
I measured the surface area of my tumbler and then made a rectangle that size as a template :)
Do you have a tutorial on just how to use inkscape?
I do not. Sorry :(
Would there be any reason my sublimation design is not transferring to the tumbler? I am using epson printer and sublimation paper as well as sublimation tumblers in the heat press machine I bought on amazon.
Did you use sublimation ink in your printer, or regular inkjet ink?
Hello can you sublimate on a stainless steel tumbler?
It has to have a sublimation coating. There are stainless steel ones ylthat are coated, but they need to be specifically for sublimation
Can you protect it with resin.
I haven't ever tried, but I don't see why not :)
Beautiful! How did you incorporate the name into the design?
Thank you! Are you familiar with design space or silhouette studio? If so, I can show you how :)
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy yes thank you. I missed that part of the video. In design space I can’t make the image large enough to wrap around completely. Does silhouette studio allow a bigger print area?
@@debrapouliot630 yes it does :)
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy beautiful. What font did you use?
@@tilowilkins6204 Thank you! One of my favorites!
What's the correct size for a 20 oz tumbler new to sublimation
It's best to always measure your blank. The video shows how :)
Newbie here. I have silhouette studio designer edition. just watched your video can i ask how you get the font solid as i can't seem to get mine to do it also i cant get the size to stay it keeps going back to to original size.
I'm not sure I understand. Can you explain what you want by the front solid ? :)
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy my font is not bold its outline is different to inner when im home i will screen shot n send image if thats ok
@@KERRYDEWSNAP sure
Wow that seems like a lot of heat tape for one mug. Is there a reason why you can just tape it at the seam?
You tape the top and bottom to avoid ghosting.
New subscriber, new question 🤣 when purchasing what is the difference between "Premium License" and "Corporate License"? Please and thank you 😊
Premium is a single user license (you) corporate is a multi user license. :)
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy so I can choose Premium and sell merchandise with that design without potentially opening myself up to any liability?
@@laurac4562 yes :) the premium license includes commercial use :)
@@laurac4562 as long as you are the one physically making the mechandice.

What paper do you use
What app can i use for the printing for the pics for the tumbler for IOS?
I would check out canva
Can you wrap one day and then bake them another day?
Sure :)
I purchased epson 2800 in August 2023 it only prints t h e yellow ink. I need a new printer and dont know which one to purchased th I s time. Thank you so much for your responce. Juanita
The 2800 is what I use. Have you tried doing a power cleaning?
How did you get picture on studio
I uploaded it. File--> merge--> locate where on your system the file you want to upload is :)
So what would be the measurements for Cricut
you always want to measure the tumbler you are using to make sure you get an exact measurement (they are not the same across brands).
what is the best easiest application to use, silhouette someone else said google docs
I like silhouette
Very nice results. I wish you would have had the taping of the cup more in frame so we could see the taping process better.
I will try to get a better shot on the next one :)
My print prints crooked. Any advice on how to prevent that?
Hmm. I'm not sure what would cause that. Are you able to trim the edges or does some of the print get cut off?
What size did you print
It will vary depending on your tumbler. The video shows how to measure your tumbler to get the correct dimensions. I can't recall the measurements on this one off the top of my head. :)
I don’t see Cricut design space ? I’m a first timer
This video is using silhouette studio, but I can definitely make one using design space:)
After you place the pic seems the gloves can be removed
Yup
I cannot figure out how to use the silhouette software.
This will help ruclips.net/video/Rym7G_ZN6Tk/видео.html
Hello, can you tell me how much it is in centimeters?
You should measure the actual tumbler blank you are using. They are not all uniform.
What font is that 😍
