As someone who doesn't care about Oscars, Actors, or even movies anymore, for some reason I feel overwhelming joy seeing this man acknowledged and validated.
This was the first Oscar Award show I was following and was excited for a LOOOOONG time. I would say all four acting awards this year went to unconventional and deserving performers whom I never thought would win.
I love how Austin Butler gave him a standing ovation. He was the only one out of the nominees that seemed legitimately happy for him. I think he knew Brendan deserved that award.
Yea they seemed more than happy to hand over their opportunity for an Oscar to a fellow actor who rarely had luck in the way of good parts but has now come back with talent that cannot be ignored
Hallee and Jessica got surprised when they read his name, Austin and Collin jumped on their seats and applauded, this might probably be the most happy Oscar winning of all times, go on Brendan, we love you
I think the most beautiful part of this moment was the excitement on the faces of Colin Farrell and Austin Butler. The fact that Colin immediately cheered and Austin shot to his feet just prove what amazing people they are to show that much love and excitement for him. My respect for them not just as actors but as Humans grew immensely during this moment. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The thing, and I say this mostly to younger audience, Brendan Fraser has been always unbelievably charismatic and full of energy in his younger day during the 80s,90s and early 2000s. Anytime you see him you would smile because of his amazing energy. He went through a lot of shit and to see him back again after everything he went through is really heart-warming, we love you and congrats Brendan!
When I saw he was nominated, I knew he’d win the Oscar from the trailer alone, I hadn’t even seen the film. That single clip ‘I need to know that I’ve done one thing right in my life’ told me that it was going to be a great film. This is an amazing comeback.
Brendan Frasier so deserved this award. I was so excited to even find out he was a nominated for this award, and then he won it, you can imagine how I felt then. We love you Brendan. Austin will have his chance again.

Scorcese needed a big mouth, scenery chewing ham and Brendan fit the bill. He has another bit part in Brothers (a favor from Peter Dinklage) and he doesn't have anything else coming out. He hasn't worked or had an offer in 2 YEARS.
This moment when Brendan won the Oscar it was the most emotional moment I have ever lived in my life. Brendan god bless you always you are an amazing human being God was always by your side and I am pretty sure that your kids are such a blessing in your life

They all deserved Oscars that night. Colin especially. But in the end we needed brendan to get it. I'm glad the academy gave him it. Kudos to Darren for pulling a "washed up actor" into his film. Sometimes people need the light and that's what the film is all about
