What a fantastic mountain it is, Calum. Always great to see the rock formation at the top from Arrochar. Nice shot of the eye of the needle. Don’t blame you for not going through especially seeing how slippy it looked. 😮
I was in the area and climbed The Cobbler a few weeks ago, sadly it was all clagged in, so no views from the summit (I didn't go through the needle either), but enjoyable all the same. Incidentally I bought a really good Empire Biscuit from the Fish n Chip shop in Arrochar that evening.
The proper way to do it rather than going roon the back!! LOL. Not done it in years but last time it was mid winter and that was full of ice and snow and a running waterfall. We got to top and there were 6 Dutch Marines trianing that had came the back way and said we were nuts!! 😋
The best mountain in Arrochar ⛰️ 😍 🤟 Just my opinion though it’s very special and looks absolutely stunning on a clear day when you see it for the 1st time dropping down from Arrochar the Munro baggers are missing out big time 👍
