Well done on getting to the half way mark Calum. Great video - I did these two a few weeks ago and the ascent up to Beinn Heasgarnich almost ended me! Got the bogfest at the bottom during a hot spell so it was fairly forgiving. Good luck with the next 141 - upwards and onwards to compleation!
Thanks so much Mike. Awwww.. that ascent from the bealach to Heasgarnich will stay with me for all the wrong reasons haha! I think we timed the bog just right too, as some of it was dried out, whilst other bits were soggy. Cheers again fella!
well congratulations Calum on getting halfway. that was a really nice hike with some great views. the Scottish countryside is just so beautiful. Dwayne
@@LarryBees you’ve probably regressed the trauma from that day…. But aye… cups of good tea make even the hardest hills enjoyable :) thanks for watching pal :)
Cheers pal :) What a feeling it is to be half-way. I've just about recovered now, and I can reflect on a what a privilege it is to be able to do what I do.
Great video again Calum. It was worth it!Congrats on reaching halfway and on completing that tough challenge. I like your choices of music. Some of it will feature in films on my channel that I’ve finished but not uploaded yet. Not copying, honest!
Cheers pal :) upon reflection, it was total worth it and I do feel awesome about having bagged these two, and reaching half way. We need tough challenges in order to grow don't we. Thanks again for watching, and I look forward to seeing how you use the music :)
Great effort. I did them a couple of years ago on a day when the weather completely closed in. Navigation was really tricky, although the clouds lifted in time for us to see the second Munro from the bealach and realise how horribly steep and long it looked. Met some nice people and spent the day with them, so that was a consolation, but it was a massive day out. Great part of the country though. Well played. Best wishes Murdo
Cheers Murdo. Aye, massive day indeed. I'm super chuffed with myself thinking about it now, but at the time, it was painful. What a priviledge eh! Thanks for watching :)
@@keirenoutdoors honestly… there was a lot of bog, but you can pick your way through if you are sensible. It’s consistently long… that’s the kicker, and that took me by surprise
Absolutely well done mate. Well done on the half way mark. I hope I get their one day. Am only sitting at 38 at the moment. I seen your post on Facebook on the I am bagging munro group. You speak so well to the camera. I wish I could speak so well lol. I usually do a silent hike and play some music on my videos. Well done. ATVB Alan
@@MyScottishAdventures you are very kind Sir and I really appreciate it. You’ll get there… it’s taken me the best part of 15 years to get to half way. But what a journey it has been. Keep on plodding on!!
It would have been most unpleasant in a white-out. It wasn't too difficult to navigate to be fair, and I was very happy when the sun eventually did break through. Thanks for watching :)
Aye, they aren't the most pleasant pair. I don't know about you, but the sense of achievement afterwards was something else. I feel like after scaling these two I can do anything! 🤣🤣
