  • As you can see the problem is purely caused by Primary Charge Roller PCR . The damage is permanent and a new roller is required. Not sure what caused the damage, damaged, worn drum cleaning silicone strip, poor quality recycled paper something stuck to the foam roller, or an old dried out toner powder clump that stuck to the transfer shaft when printer not in use for a very long time.
It is very important to check the condition of the silicone strip cleaning the drum. Stripping the drum assembly is very easy and I have replaced all rollers within 4h. Never done it before. You start by removing one screw on the waste side and 4 outer screws from the opposite end. pull gently the waste auger spring loaded plastic. plenty of powder will come out! In order to pull out the drum shaf from the drum assembly a pin need to be released by removing the ring on the sprocket side and removing 4 small screws from the silver plate. Everything else is quite intuitive.
4 rollers cost $17 on Aliexpress. Make sure you don't expose the green drums to light for many hours and you don't make any damage. To clean everything I have used gloves, wet wipes and kitchen towel to dry. Do not rub your sponge shaft, it will peel off and that will be the end of your repair for the next 3months till new set is delivered. No need for any alcohol until you keep your gloves on.
