    Tried leaving a comment but it got wiped off RUclips lol. But an average tv to look out for is the sharp 27sc26b, or any of the many like it. It's like a jvc d series with smaller speakers, but strangely it has a 16:9 mode, and screen tilt rotation. Dangerouscousin has posted how to turn off edge enhancement on those curved 27" sharps. The 27sc26b has a Sharp branded tube too.

      Awesome! Thanks for the info. I will look into how to turn off the edge enhancement. I was curious about the endge enhancement and the type of tube so thanks again.
      I definitely didn't wipe your comment. I only do that when people advertise some weird product like nail polish or whatever in my comments. Seems like RUclips has been wiping a lot of comments lately.

    Not much to say, it looks like a decent TV, but I just wanted to thank you for making videos about consumer sets. It feels like most videos are about PVMs / BVMs, which I am sure are great, but they are just getting too expensive these days, and I prefer the larger sizes of consumer sets anyways.

    • @riggel8804
      @riggel8804  2 года назад

      It looks wack. It isn't real sharpness (like what you get with a higher line count monitor). It's more like pseudo sharpness. It looks like someone went over all the sprites and outlined them with a sharpy. It's one of the few things that all CRT gamers agree on-turn off the edge enhancement.

    Aren’t most consumer TVs from the 90s and 2000s made in Mexico? Even consumer Sony Trinitrons for the US market from the era are made in Mexico. The only consumer Sony TVs I’ve seen made in Japan are the ones from the 80s and older and the small CRTs like the KV-9PT50. The professional grade monitors are indeed made in Japan.
