Dude. Can I suggest a KLR 650. That thing is a tank and the power/speed isn't enough for you to mess up too much. And if it falls (as most likely it will at some point) they're cheap to fix.
This is an incredibly helpful series serving a need that is not being served by any other channel on youtube. If you are able to continue it, please do so and thousands of tall people will be VERY thankful for it.
Yes, do more videos! I'm 6"4 and it's always hard to find a bike of my taste, and I'm saying this but cause of course there are (the BMW r1200gs fits perfectly for a tall rider) but I'm more into the cafe racer style
@@BrapModeOn I'm 6ft 4 and I just bought a 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and its the best bike I've ever had. I had a 2012 V-Strom Adventure 1200 and a Chieftain, but the 1200 Scrambler is the best by far.
Thanks for the review! I'm 6'3" 230 and I love my FZ07 and WR450F Supermoto. Everyone at work always says I look like a bear on a unicycle but its something you just can't win. Literally everyone else at work is less than 6' and they all ride 30k harley baggers. So that is the standard against what we are measured
Just found this, and so psyched! I'm 6'8" and this is brilliant. I ride a Husqvarna 701 Supermoto and find it very comfortable from an ergo perspective (seat height is 35"), but less comfy from a wind blast perspective. I'll definitely be watching this whole series.
Just found your channel.. I'm 6'4" and pretty much the same as you. I've had over 10 bikes in my life and whenever a new one comes out, I'm always searching for reviews on RUclips adding "tall rider" at the end. So keep up the series. Happy New subscriber
@@PaulUrmston Found anything worth going for? I'm a big fan of the scrambler/cafe racer look but it's a little tougher out there for anyone over 6 feet.
@@ShowInTheDark to be truthful, they're all a bit of a squeeze. Would love the Ducati Scrambler but my back and legs were killing me after 30 mins... and I'm currently in Chile so really need something that fits well to tackle the mountains and dessert. What about you? What "fitted" you best?
Thanks for this. I have an xsr900 and I've put 30K miles on it in two years. I recommend that any tall rider customize the seat. It's made a big difference because it allows me to sit back further, thus my knees aren't as bent and not as close to the frame sliders.
Brap Mode I modified the stock seat. Took the cover off, shaved the foam, inserted a gel pad, and replaced the cover. Can’t attach photos because I’m out of town.
Jeffrey Nerdin Would love to see pictures if you get the chance! You were able to bring the "hump" further back, or did you shave it off completely? What kind of gel pad did you use? Thanks!

@@BrapModeOn my local upholstery reshaped the stock seat after my wishes. Added more foam (better foam) and moved the "slope" in the seat 5cm rearwards so I can sit further back. 6'4/185/34 inseam/12 shoe. I have about $7k to spend on a used bike, prefer the naked cafe racer style. What else should I be looking for if I can't find a XSR 900 or 700?
