My daughter just bought this Honda. I never even heard of a HRV EX. I have an older CRV. So far she's loving the new features. Btw: She was driving a toyota corolla, which was the basic. No cruise control & sunroof. Had to get a new car b/c she was in an accident and the car was a total loss (not her fault). So, I told her PLEASE get a midsize car or an SUV.

I had no idea it did not have a front camera to show with in line for parking all my. Friends have that also how do yo set your car apple phone to blue tooth. Will that let you not have to plug phone in why do we have to do that?
Nowadays specially 2022 cars are already in LED headlights beam lights and fog lights. Why is that the honda hrv 2022 is still in yellow lights instead of LED
But it should be changed since its 2022 all cars from other brands are already on LED lights honda is the only one who has yellow lights and i just bought 2022 honda hrv and spend more money just to change those yellow lights to LED one 🤷

Would LOVE a detailed explanation of HondaLink! Honda is giving us a 3 month trial but I have no idea what advantage this might be. Nothing on the internet really explains it. I think with an upgrade I can get it to open my garage door - from the screen?? (On my 2022 HRV EXL?) There is supposed to be a 5 day weather forecast on there but I don’t see it. Love that it can locate my car. Please tell us all about it and why I should pay $110/year for it. Thank you. You are the best “walk-around” guy on the internet. I’ve watched MANY!
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 yes I have the app. Yes I can see my fuel and mileage on my phone. I can see some of what should be available. However ….. several things were discontinued in November 2019. What about remote start? Garage door opening? What if anything does HondaLink do to pay for it? Just get messages?? Frustrating trying to find information.
Very informative but I’m confused. Just bought a brand new one almost exactly like the one you’re showing here… blue, moonroof,all the bells and whistles but Not AWD. Got it here in AZ…Tempe Honda. It’s an EX . Our salesman said you can only get AWD on the sports model which was black with bigger wheels but no right turn camera and less a couple other things. It did look sportier and slightly different but in a better way. Was he just being a salesman or maybe he was talking about what they had on their lot ? Wow just noticed I payed about $2k more for my 2WD versus what your charging for that AWD…that’s disappointing
I can't speak for the salesman or the experience you have received at your local dealership. You can get the Honda HRV Sport in a 2WD and AWD drivetrain option (roughly $1500 difference). Thank you for your support and watching.
You're correct, the top trim level within the HRVs don't have an upgraded premium audio system as you'll see in the other Honda Models. Thank you for watching
I'm thinking of purchasing this vehicle, the all wheel drive can we switch it from two-wheel drive to all-wheel drive or is it always set to all-wheel drive?
There's no switch for Honda's AWD. It performs as a 2WD until it detects a slip or slide, then the AWD system engaged. Only using power when you require it. This saves your MPG. Thank you for watching and appreciate your support

Can anyone tell me if the HRV has had any recent paint issues? I have a 2022 ex on order in platinum white pearl and not doubting my decision. I have read numerous posts about paint problems. Any feedback?
I rented one (AWD) Over thanksgiving. If you’re rubbing local errands it gets the job done but it felt severely underpowered compared to a Toyota RAV4 and the head room is limited. It’s a good rental with a nice turning radius but I wouldn’t buy it.

Is there any trim or model/ year that has a power lift gate? Or all trims/ years hydraulic? That's one thing that would cause me to buy another car
Unfortunately, there are no powered leftgates available for the HRVs
We ended up buying this car in the same exact color, same year, same trim level too we just put a deposit on one today

Can you please explain what the trunk button is for on the keyfob? It just flashes the lights when I push it but that can’t be it right?

You can lock your fob in the LX and Sport trim models, correct. But not the EX or EXL trims

I just bought an EX, told only the EX has the right turn lane watch. The HRV is the only model that offers the lane watch.
No blind spot monitoring?
Not on the first generation HRVs 2016 to 2022. The second generation, HRV 2023 to 2025, has BSI on the Sport and EX-L trim levels
And it should be on sale, considering the complete change coming in 2023

How does a Honda civic touring have more horsepower than a hrv? This should have at least 200hp
The first generation HRV had the 1.8L four while the Civic Touring has the 1.5L turbo
