I have a 2016 EX which gets 28 city and 34 mixed. It's been a daily driver for 4+ yrs trouble free.
That’s awesome!
This video was very helpful. I think the Toyota CH-R looks more sporty but has over 20 sq. ft. less cargo room, no magic seats, and no AWD. The HR-V had the least reported new-car problems of all 2020 Honda models. My new 2021 Honda HR-V EX AWD color is "Midnight Amethyst", but I just call it "Burple". The more I drive it, the more I like it!

Yes the no AWD on CH-R is what is drawing me to the HR-V 👍🏿👍🏿
I own a 2020 HRV EX and this is exactly the same. Nothing has changed at all except for the rims.
The biggest news for the 2021 HR-V involves the wheels on most trims
The HR-V Sport receives aggressive new black-painted 18-inch alloys
EX and EX-L trims get the 17-inch machine-finished alloys with gloss shark-gray inserts that appeared on the 2020 Touring
The 2021 HR-V Touring is equipped with new 17-inch machine-finished alloys featuring black-painted inserts
The rear privacy glass previously found on HR-V EX and above trims now extends to Sport trims as well
There have been some tweaks to color-and-trim availability:
Milano Red is now only available on the HR-V Sport trim
Only black interiors can be had with the Modern Steel Metallic exterior
Orangeburst Metallic is no longer offered

It's a great vehicle!
The LX has a CD player... And none of the higher models have one. That's mind boggling. CDs are awesome! It's a big reason I won't get rid of my Accord.
That's correct. I not 100% why Automotive Companies are going away with CD players but there are aftermarket options available that you may explore online or third-party companies.

The first time I came out after dark with the key-fob in my pocket and put my hand on the door handle of my new 2021 Honda HR-V EX, the car came alive, lit up, and unlocked. We were impressed. I'm still trying to get used to not taking my key out of my pocket to drive away.

@@CrazyAutoChris, My first Honda was a 1986 4-door Accord with a 5-speed manual and pop-up headlights. It was the best car I've owned to date.

@@CrazyAutoChris, I don't remember the odometer reading on the '86 Accord, but I traded it for a 2006 Ridgeline. I loved, loved, loved everything about that 'truck', except the 16 MPGs.

I know there are 6 speakers! I can’t remember the quality of each though. I signed for this today and am just excited not to have broken speakers, my current car came with blown out ones 😂
Sorry I don't mention anything about the speakers or play the radio. 180-watt audio system with 6 speakers, Honda Brand
Seriously considering trading my 09 CRV for one of these...Smaller on the outside, just as much (if not more) space on the inside! The standard safety tech is a selling point too. Great video!

Have you had any problems or anyone with problems with lane keeping assist? I've read some comments having issues with that jerking them in the lane or something. Thanks!
I haven’t heard any similar situation from my previous owners or customers with the three years in the automotive business

I like the trim level where the heat and AC have physical knobs. Which trim level carry those. Also, I noticed this one didnt have a cd player. The ones that do. Are those cd players capable of playing mp3 discs ?
The physical knobs are in the LX and Sport trim levels. I haven't tried playing a MP3 CD. Thank you for watching.
@@CrazyAutoChris I just got a call today from my nearest Hyundai dealer. They told me it would cost me $1550 to buy out my 2018 leased Sonata. I think thats a little much. Any way to negotiate that cost ?
I’m seriously considering this car for me and my mom to share it’s perfect for both of us but the only one problem is that I’m shorter than my mother so when it comes to the seat it’s going to be a pain to adjust it everytime I drive

What’s the difference between this and the touring?
Nancy I'm glad that you have asked because there's a huge difference between the two because the the trim level go in the following order; LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring

Hi! I'm shopping for a spacious suv that I could travel in and do some stealth camping. My concern is the feature that doesn't allow the car to be locked with the key inside. Does this mean if I'm inside the car when sleeping or just seating in it, anyone can just open the door from the outside?

Does this mean that I cannot lock the car while I'm inside the car? What if I want t lock it or safety reasons while I stay in the car?

You can lock the car while inside using the door controls and the remote (I just bought mine today and tried both ways)

It does have a bigger engine in it now.
When ordering HRV, can you have leather on the base model?
That would be great but you can NOT. You would have to be at the EX-L for the leather. Would this be your first Honda? Thank you for watching!

Is there a navigation system?
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard. No built in navigation until you get into the touring trim. Thank you for watching.

Does the Sport model have more upgrade features than the EX?
The EX has more standard features than the Sport, the order of the trim levels from low to top tier are LX, Sport, EX, EXL, Touring
@@CrazyAutoChris I have the 2020 AWD Sport but it has more upgrade features than this one on your video, that's why I was wondering why this EX seems to be so " regular "

How do you use the remote start?
The HRV doesn’t come with remote start.
@@CrazyAutoChris Aw, that’s sad. The guy at my dealership told me it did and that’s one of the main things that sold me.
@@fujiappel I think it does have remote start. Why not? My ex honda civic has the same key fob & has remote start

This car almost has as much cargo space as a CX-5 which happens to be a 'compact' SUV.

Looked at one. Then looked at a Buick Encore gx. The Buick is way better bang for your buck. I wasn’t impressed with this vehicle.

@@zippydodahquirk9039 sluggish. and sounds like you're riding inside a tin can. poor build quality. cheap materials used. even the stereo sucks. the junk yards will no doubt be littered with these in less then 10 years .especially with that CVT
