I always forget that appliances have those little guides inside, lol! The microwave ones are so convenient! It's nice that it gives a meat example, so you knew how long to put it in the microwave! 9 minutes to dethaw isn't too bad at all! That's great you could add it right into your frying pan with the onions as soon as it was done! I'll have to remember that and dethaw more of my meat in the microwave instead of letting it sit in the refrigerator for hours, lol!

Great feature, but I find it almost always starts cooking the meat by the end of the cycle. I like to stop 2-3 times during the cycle and remove the thawed meat. This helps keep everything at a uniform thaw so it cooks evenly. This can also save a lot of time.
