I especially like that when starting the game you can choose different languages
seems like old glory of firestorm is coming back
idk if I'd go that far, Legion on Firestorm had 7k even months after the initial launch, this will most likely go down, but we'll see, they have already surprised me once
The server is fine, it works for the most part, but what I loved most about DF was the exploration and random events / spawns. Unfortunately those are the parts of DF that Firestorm couldn't code.
But racing and flying work fine, so that's something I guess, but none of the big scripted events like Dragonbane Keep work.

Day 4 update: I love dragonflight but not the server. It's a complete crash fiesta - like a 7x crash chain yesterday evening, 3x more this morning. They give you one free character boost to 60, but you have to level other toons. They haven't thought as far as leveling goes, though. The leveling content is very buggy, but nothing stops you from progressing at least. Some leveling dungeons are borderline unplayable with broken boss mechanics. The boss with mind control in shrine of storm - he MC's the whole group and you have to pray that tank can solo it. Shadow priest is also fun - Vampiric Touch and Devouring Plague both deal 1 damage exactly. Not more, not less, ONE damage per tick. Plus - and this is something that's not the server's fault but you'll have to deal with it anyway - there are tons of absolutely clueless players who can't even figure out how dragon riding works for crying out loud, let alone how to play the new dungeons properly and not waste everyone's time.
So my review would be: jebat tuto sracku, pockajte si mozno tak mesiac kym to zacne byt hratelne

what i hate most is the fact that they are lazy to unite all realms , so that other expansions would be bug free most of the time especially for ppl that wants story quests and transmogrify farm , even the boats dont work
About the views on your video - you need to keep in mind that Firestorm, while it has a sizable English population, also has very large Spanish (primarily from the Latam regions), Russian and to some extent Chinese playerbases which typically aren't known for their abilities to understand and speak English very well..
And the English population who is interested in Firestorm likely already knows about it anyway, it has one of the largest Discord servers in the private server scene and is an established project that has existed for many years.

@@Fowoxirawr We're currently hard at work to deliver patch 7.2.5 to our players soon. It's the end of patch 7.1.5 currently, players don't have much to do anymore and are getting bored, so we're planning to release the next batch of content in early 2024.
@@Fowoxirawr Well no, it really didn't, Freakz population was doubled on website, realistically it never went above 3.5k at absolute peak in 7.3.5
As for the Murloc thing, yes, it sucked, but at the same time everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was super busy dealing with 100 things at once for the first 2-3 weeks post launch, so many unexpected issues appeared out of nowhere, with, in relation, way too few staff to deal with it. Some of us have worked 16+ hours every day for almost a month straight and it still wasn't enough to satisfy players' as well as our own standards that we expect from ourselves to serve our players for. Players needed to wait countless hours, sometimes DAYS to get a reply to their tickets, and that is an awful experience, for players and staff alike.
That said, the situation was chaotic and messy at launch, but things have improved tremendously in the weeks and months that followed. Yes, there are still random bugs here and there, sometimes major bugs pop up, but they're being fixed really quickly if it happens. Most people who still claim that the server is totally broken and bugged are just repeating what everybody says, but the reality is that the bug reports on the bug tracker are.. creative, to put it mildly. 86% of all reports that were handled so far are invalid, in ALL categories of the tracker. For some reason people use Freakz, Firestorm Legion or UWoW as reference for reporting bugs, and none of these 3 should ever be considered a trustworthy reference... but, well, it seems like it's too late to change peoples' general opinion on the server now, no matter how much you try to explain this (all of the rejected reports are rejected with proof of them being invalid after all), people are stubborn and insist.
Regardless, we still care a lot and have some big, exciting changes planned for patch 7.2, changes and additions that go beyond the regular patch content. I wish I was allowed to talk about it already, but, nope, gotta keep the information on hold for a while longer!

Tbh i think the reason why there is much hype is cuz df turned out to be a rlly good xpac and firestome is capitalizing on that by actually trying to script a better functioning server this time around

Hi, this message is for anyone that wants to get into End-Game on Firestorm. TLDR: Don't, raids are bugged to hell and devs REFUSE to fix.
Now if you wish for a more detailed explanation, the situation with FS is that they only cater to the donors. If you don't donate for gear, then content is not relevant to you.
M+ is overtuned and does too much dmg than necessary.
Raids are bugged, some bosses' damage gets registered twice and other bosses' mechanics do not take into account player numbers. So instead of having a mechanic like "1 Debuff per 5-man group" you'll get maximum amount of debuffs regardles of how many players are in the raid.
The bug reports and issues that you submit will get ignored if they point out the flaws on End-Game content or Class related bugs.
70% of the DPS classes are undertuned, irrelevant and outclassed by Paladin,Mage,Monk,DK. And not all of the specs of these classes WORK.
Old content does not fully worked, you can safely assume that most of the quests/zones/dungs/raids of old are bugged and you'd be right.

As far as I know, it's the only private server on the Dragonflight expansion, so the numbers make sense

imagina an old expansion of WoW like WOTLK have 15k daily on warmane thats freaking hell a lot
Thats true but another true and sad thing about warmane is the 95% of the people are doing only icc, ulduar+toc25 HC+ OBS 3 drakes are achiev runs for 6k gs people, the same ruby sanctum... and no one runs naxx or eye of eternity cuz its long and no one needs gear from there cuz u can go FoS,PoS,Hor .. not even mentioning PUG raids which are automaticly over after first wipe because spanish speaking people are just nightmare to go with.
I hope bugstorm will fix WOD raids.

Most of the Firestorm pop is Russian and Spanish speakers to be fair

been lvling evoker so far i didnt see any bugs. and yeah there is quite a lot of players for the launch im happy. i hope it will stay in these numbers because more people=more fun :p.
I've sadly not been able to play, it never loads after character select for me. Waited 30mins and didn't work. Uninstaller and now full installed with the magnet, hopefully it works now cause I'm excited to play again but refuse to give Activision money

We have waited for this for a very long time and its finally here my opinion on DF is like now a big succesful launch well its hard to say if those 8k people are real or just bots but i believe that Firestorms DF got a big future i am allread enjoying my Warrior adventure on the dragon isles really happy right now currently 62 lvl i will play later also did 3 dungeons and got 4 good pieces of gear so really good so far really being honest tho

most corrupt staff, they never care about players, their admins ban you for saing #free and person that was just banned, literally dictator system on discord server. I advise not playing that server even as in a game experience, only if you play what's meta on firestorm, other classes will never be good because they dont care about fixing bugs, it's just a waste of time. But ofc if you like questing and world quests you will have fun it's not that buggy anymore as this server used to be, tho it crashes alot.
I like it for now, just 1 quest didnt work, i am now 68 lvl

5k players 1 month later. Trying it for the first time.
It is 6.5k right now and it’s not peak yet, it peaks in around 1 hour from now so it may go up to around 7k still

So how is Firestorm working exactly? Can I also just start a normal mage character or something and play Battle for Azeroth, Shadowlands, whatever on it? Or is this just the Dragonflight expansion and I cant play base game+ other expansions on this one.
If you mean that expansion’s content on Dragonflight - you can play it, it’s just not 100% always working…if you mean older expansions without Dragonflight - you can choose other realms from Firestorm with that given expansion but they aren’t very populated, but you can play them
Oh yeah. I see the other realms. But on the Dragonflight realm it is JUST the expansion´s content? So it´s not like the actual WoW where its all in one game?@@MEYTRIX

@@kevineis9088 u will able to play world of warcraft with the latest expansion "Dragonflight", ofc you can go to bfa zone or legion zones etc. A lot of old content tho will not work cause it's not scripted etc.
Does anyone here knows how to fix the latency problem im playing from asia and my latency is 250-500ms, have already flush my dns. Does using a VPN helps?
In some ppl yes it helps. im playing from asia too Philippines but i dont have problems with my latency

I just checked my Shadowlands launch video and it was considerably lower, around some 2k ppl less at peak at least

you can claim the level 60 boost from Boris even if you are a newbie, you don't have to level

Good question, class balancing is from patch 10.1.7, however, content is progressively released by major patches
When i launch the wow exe i get choose region screen, when i select my region the game doesnt open. Nothing happens any tips?
You need to wait depending on your system, might take a few minutes

Personally I'd say is the best leveling experience in the game it's quick and not frustrating

If leveling wasn't ultra slow, I would've stayed on the server, but damn DF leveling is slow. Maybe if I didn't play it on retail.
yeah high rate is not a thing anymore it seems highest rate is x3.
I was surprised they went with x1 rates, leveling my character on retail DF from 60 to 70 also took me ages, but some ppl will probably argue it’s not that slow
@@MEYTRIX 60-70 takes about 10hours, 15 if you're particularly slow. It's quick by retail standards but slow for private servers.

@@mayb1e387 On retail, if you wait for the time walking dungeons to be up, around 15 hours for the average player, 10 if you're fast, even less is possible. If there's no timewalking at the time but you know what you're doing, 15-25 hours sounds about right.
