HF apparently saw the value, or loss, in this. Tool only is now $99 but on sale for $89, charger is $45 and a 5aH battery for it is $75.
The Hercules Rotary with the extreme 8AH battery was on sale as a combo for $99.99

Is it possible to remove the haze and holograms with the rotary by using a less aggressive polishing pad and compound?
Absolutely, but since the panel originally had testing for compounds with 600-1000-1500-3000 grit sand marks, we wanted to test the rotary just as we were doing the test. You can finish down with the rotary but you have to know how, for the beginner trying to finish down I would just recommend the DA polisher. It’s the way we finish down after cut with the rotary …. I just ditched my griots G9 polisher for a 8mm hercules polisher from harbor freight griots should really be embarrassed of there polishers
Does this device need to be greased? I am a beginner, just looking to purchase the device. Your response will be appreciated. Ty
@@randburg3014 I would absolutely change the grease to some sort of red lithium type grease, such as wolf heads red lithium grease - we'd do that if it was a $600 polisher or a $100 harbor freight polisher ... Thanks for watching !
The final finish has nothing to do with the performance and feel of the rotary buffer...how long did battery run the tool....how long to charge the second and subsequent charges....did buffer want to stall or slow significantly when using heavy compound. I'll find an actual tool review elsewhere.
The tool on one battery only lasted about 35 mins, you'll need two battery and they took roughly 50 mins to and hour to charge - polisher didn't stall because it's a rotary only a da would actually stall out - thanks for your feedback
