  • There are so many cordless (battery-powered) rotary polishers on the market today versus 10, even 5 years ago. With all these new options comes analysis paralysis, and I'm here to help YOU make an informed decision before investing in a new tool. It's all here in this clip from one of my recent LIVE monthly detailing classes I host right here on RUclips.

Mike, other than to pick up product, do you ever use a rotary at it's lowest speed setting? if so, when?

FLEX battery technology is the best so far in MY experience. Keep in mind, FLEX is owned by CHERVON now and CHERVON also owns EGO cordless power tools. So FLEX obtained their battery technology from EGO - probably the best in the industry. Just ask anyone with an EGO Leaf Blow if they would switch to any other brand. You'll have to pry my EGO Leaf Blower out of my cold, dead hands. LOL - Yes, they are that good.

@@mikephillipsrealworlddetailingyou know battery cells are made by only a few manufactures
      aside using the same cells
key about Flex having good batteries not only good cells they use
it is all about how they design their electronic board to handle draws properly instead over drain batteries
i tear so many batteries apart and see why they fail
i have yet to get my hands on Flex
      the original
not the new Flex 24v which having stupid gel pad which melt and leak all the gooie stuff all over

@@TranTek - Of course I know the heart of a battery is the individual cells. And of course, there's different technology by different engineers to get the most out of the rechargable batteries. I've been using the FLEX cordless tools since they were invented. I'm confident I have more articles on these tools than anyone breathing. And as time goes by, changes are good that most other companies will somehow obtain the technology FLEX uses, including the way they use the FAN inside the tool to cool the tool to also cool the batteries.
This video wash simply to showcase some of the available options, each person watching this can do all the research they need and then come to their own decision as to which cordless BRAND is best for them.
      Thanks for watching and commenting.

Flex, all the way for detailing! Milwaukee for my mechanic tools. Harbor Freight recommendation for that neighbor you least like.

As @mattcully8405 said, at this time, RUPES does not offer a cordless rotary polisher. I'm sure there is one in the works, pay attention as we get close to *SEMA 2024* for an announcement. When they do come out with a cordless rotary, I'm sure they will be a great option.
