So it’s a Bosch Chameleon without an SDS head attachment?
It sucks
Nah the Bosch version is way better, especially if you're a cabinet installer. This thing is way too bulky for no percievable reason.
I bought it intending to use it for cabinet work and i use it for everything now. It reppaces the need for bringing a drill and impact with you for around the house fixes. Love it so far.
I got a drill chuck and quick change bit chuck for my impact for a few bucks on Amazon. Same idea, different route.
@vladimus9749 lmao definitely not even close to the same thing bro...😂
I just left a comment saying how it seems nice for cabinets. Do you have to hold it down when screwing at an angle?
@@MangoOverthere I've done it with and without. When I was driving a screw into an already drilled pilot hole, then I didn't feel like I needed any extra pressure.
My dad uses it for everything. Drives in 3 inch screws no problem.
I've had it for about 2 yrs or so. I use it so much that it's unreal. I have many drills but this one is so comfortable and working on cars that right angle is a huge bonus
I am the opposite. I used it for everything at first, then i got tired changing and adjusting. Prior to this, I bought an angle adapter by Dewalt 4 years ago and only used it twice.... I went back to using individual tools for specific task. If you built a shelf, stand or whater and cant fit a normal size drill in there, then you obviously did something wrong.
@@Pepe-dq2ib doesnt sound like you work on cars much, looks great for what he commented using it for
@@topd7566 i use air tools, they are even more compact.
it is good to use it for polishing car like headlight restore?
@@Wovel117 no, just get a flex polisher clone off harbor freight.
I have it and use it a lot, however would have preferred a standard forward/reverse button.
Word by word what I was going to write
Makes it really awkward to have to use two hands to switch positions. Shouldve added it near the trigger like other drills are designed
@ZachR-ml3op you hit it with your thumb.
@@littlejackalo5326 Having used this while doing my kitchen cabinets I assume they mean when you've got the top of the drill up against the bottom of something and are already laying in an awkward position that's part of the reason you whipped this out, you have to tilt it down enough to get your thumb up that if you do it with one hand it's easy to drop your screw without a second hand to keep things steady. At least after hours working in the twist yourself into knots cabinet mode ya know
If you’re building something and putting screws somewhere that are hard to reach, you need to design it differently
My Festool is still going strong after 20 years
This kind of tool is a must-have.
That's my man!
it better for the money
Also festool guy here! Have the T18+3 and TXS 18
You failed to mention that you can connect the different heads in multiple combinations if needed. It is labeled as a installers drill/ driver. It is specifically intended for people who do installations who encounter multiple scenarios. I install many different configurations for a living and could not be without one. I have 2 sets for different locations and I couldn't be happier. Worth the investment.
A lot don’t know that the 90° attachment will also take the other 3 attachments. You can really customize the drill to how you need it
Everyone should know that you’re obviously not supposed to use the 90 degree attachment without another attachment
I am a flat rate RV repair technician absolutely love and use this daily best Milwaukee tool hands down
We're ya located?
Very efficient and speeds up productivity. I went with the Bosch version as it was a pound lighter and an inch smaller and fits in the hammer loop.
Can you provide the link for the Bosh tool? Price?
The Bosch version is overall a bit better. But the Milwaukee is better for ergonomics, metal ratcheting drill bit chuck, and quick insert collet on the 1/4" hex.
SO BOSCH HAS ANTI GRAVITY?
@@pucheco69 I guess this is Bosch Professional GSR 12V-15 FlexiClick 06019F6000
@@piotr433 or the BOSCH GSR12V-300FCB22 Flexiclick
I've been using the Bosch Flexi-Click for a while, which is much the same thing. Great bit of kit - especially if you're doing a lot of cabinetry. Even if I don’t need the fancy attachments, I often find myself reaching for it over my 18v dewalts as it's so light.
Both are excellent tools, so consider if there's anything else in the 12v range you might want. I already owned the Bosch GFk trim router so I've stayed with that system.
I don't have the Flexi-Click but I do have the 12v Drill/Impact Driver combo from Bosch, and I totally agree, I don't reach for 18v very often at all. If drilling large holes, I'll just use my cheapo store brand corded drill anyway.
I've had this set for nearly a year and for a M12 tool, this thing is surprisingly powerful. I'm not giving up my other Milwaukee drills and Impactors, of which there is a pile, but I pick up this one first most of the time. 10 out of 10....ALL DAY!
Great looking thing. My work recently took out a contract with Milwauke for drills, grinders and impact guns. Great tools with good power and good battery life. Very impressed with their tools.👍
About mine over a year ago it's an amazingly good tool comes with a cool case. Small compact powerful
I use mine more than any other drill / driver that i have!
Time to call Ryobi and let them know TTI forgot to make a baby brother.
Ryobi big 🗑
Or Ridgid
I don’t think it’ll be possible with the size of Ryobi’s battery packs. Unless they make it out of the USB Lithium line but 4v is pretty weak.
@@antonioreyes421 touché
@@thefrankperspective4247 Guess what!? They actually made this tool in the USB Lithium line! Look at Ryobi Tools sight, Product>USB Lithium> … and you’ll find the drill!
I'm an electrician and I got one of these along with the big packout bit set, I haven't picked up a screwdriver since. This drill gets used a lot more than any other Milwaukee drill or impact I have. I like how in high speed it doesn't have the torque to strip out screws, it makes them as tight as I can with a regular screwdriver.
Good to hear. I thought my Milwaukee drill and driver set would end all my diy home driver needs, but they are both too excitable to casually drive screws into weaker material.
Same here! I use this little guy for everything and pretty much got rid of my standard size impact, drill and sds.
Bought this last year and i dont have to use my regular drill again. This is light, compact, good power and speed. The battery, regular 12v has a good life. Excellent tool that can replace screwdrivers and heavier drills. The storage case is very nice as well. Has a magnetic strip in the front to hold different driver bits or drill bits.
I love that little bad boy. A buddy of mine has one. He says it's favorite tool. He uses all the time at the apartment complex he works at. He let me use it at his house helping him with a project. I immediately felt the serious need for that tool.
I have one in my EDC bag for refrigeration. Love it.
People normally knock the top mounted reverse switch. I have found that after using it for a while it actually makes a lot of sense for the way you hold this tool. It’s to be held like a drywall gun, thus using your thumb makes more sense when you are in strange positions using this. I am a Milwaukee fanboy all day long. I own more Milwaukee than my wife knows about…but this is in my top 3 tools. I actually have two of these.
I've had this for a few years and absolutely love it!
Hell yeah. Pulled mine out last Saturday helping a buddy put up a shed. When I went back Sunday he had one. The only time that weekend I used a full size makita drill was to run a holesaw.
I use it at work everyday I love that little drill.
Yes we do need that Drill..and the Installers would also want this Drill
As a commercial office interior builder this became my go to leaving my m18 impact and driver in the job box . The different head pieces are very useful
One of the jobsite favorites when doing some light weight stuff. Has plenty of power but perfect for residential remodeling. I too originally bought it for installing cabinets, particularly cabinets on the smaller side but end up using it for a multitude of tasks.
Bought this intending to use it for only specific jobs… it has turned into my favorite drill I have. The offset head come in handy more often than not
Own 1 four the last 4 years. Love it
1980 My dad has a Milwaukee drill for Dry wall. that's still works.
I've had one now for 2 years and I just can't get enough of it I wish Milwaukee had a M18 version I would buy it in no time
I think bosch makes an 18v version of their flexiclick multi head driver
Had mine for few years now! Absolutely love it. I use it pretty much every day now. Saves the old wrists. So versatile. Only thing I don’t like is the forwards and back button on the top. A sliding trigger would make this so much better.
HVAC guy here. Almost all of us carry a cordless impact as a/the primary tool we use. Milwaukee m12 fuel surge works for me and fits inside of my small veto tech pack.
This tool has replaced every hand tool i had. I got rid of my standard impact, drill and sds. I can fit everything i need in a fanny pack now and gave away all my 14 Milwaukee packouts
I love this driver. It's amazing
I’ve got a Bosch 12v version. Had it for about 5 years. Thing is awesome for everything. In fact all the Bosch 12v stuff is great.
I had 2 of these in 6 years and it is my bread and butter. Been using it every day and used every attachment thoroughly for everything. I love em.
Currently an apprentice cabinet maker so I’ll look into it
I recommend it! Will save you time.
@@antonioreyes421will do then
Looks pretty neat.
I have one and I love it. Plenty of power, plenty of battery life, and very comfortable to use. The attachments have come invery handy. Thanks for the review!
Its also good for aircraft mechanics. Alot of the guys i work with have them and praise them. Especially the offset.
Angle & Offset is pretty cool
There’s been a lot of complaints about the location of the direction switch. If they fix that I will definitely buy it.
I need this. I already own the M12 Milwaukee sander.
I use this for work, servicing households, and when there's a resident tradesman and sees the thing, always get a compliment.
Thanks for doing what you do!
I bought this because I saw it on here about year ago. I use to use the small Milwaukee M12 screwdriver kit. After having it replaced under warranty twice, I went out and got this.
Best for door hardware installation...absolutely perfect.
Ooh I likey. Might have to pick one up
Great for home use too.
Milwaukee always bringing fire ass tools 🔥
I'm not sure how I haven't seen your channel before today, but I sure am glad i did. Amazing video. Thank you
That's actually pretty slick.
I have the Bosch version. Amazingly versatile tool
Bosch did it years ago, and better. The ONLY possible improvement on the Milwaukee is the guard against bashing your knuckles. Of course, that same guard can potentially prevent you from getting into a tight place.
Oh you mean the Bosch Flexi-Click.
You mean the Festool CXS? The patents expired, hence all these popped up in the last few years.
Exactly, my first thought @@Mike-dn4ju
I bought mine a couple years back before renovating our kitchen and this thing paid for itself assembling all 24 cabinets and their drawers 😅 10/10.
It is my favorite Milwaukee tool
I use the Bosch GSR 12V 35 FC. It can do the same.
It’s also perfect for tapping aluminum with quarter 20 or 832
That's prdy helpful for sign makers aswell
I have 3 it's my go to!
This is one of my favorite tools.
Bosch put out this several years ago, called the Chameleon
I have 18v makita already, went Milwaukee for 12 volt recently since this pack was available with batteries and love this thing and the ratchet. Both brands seem to make fine tools. I’m poly now, it’s 2024, it’s all good.
After seeing this commercial I’ve been in so many different situations that this would have been the way. But you get crafty on what you can put it an angle drill will 1000rpms lol aka makita 40v angle hole hawg. I didn’t even know they made this tool. Thank you for showing us this I’m gonna buy one Friday for my birthday.
I have this driver and I love it. It does as advertised
Walmart has the hyper tough version for $30 and I got one because I needed a drill real fast while out of town and I have been using it hard for a while now and it’s still hasn’t broke. Hard = 3” hole saw through osb and thousands of screws love how I can leave the drill bit in the drill head and just remove the whole thing to use the screw gun
Every RV tech's wet dream
This is the perfect drill for 99% of home projects. I got one for the store drill at work.
I love my 4 in 1 installatiin driver. I rarely use my impact and drill anymore...
Liked it so much I got 4.
This is my favorite drill/driver and I have all of them
I've been using it for 4 years in France and i have not found a similar product that could replace it so far. Got addicted to
Festool has several sizes. I've had my Festool ones for over 5 years, and they still run perfectly. They're not cheap, but the quality is impeccable.
I'm invested into the Makita 18v system to great satisfaction but this thing might just make me start my 12v journey with Milwaukee.
Tools are advancing too what fun
loves mines great drill!
i would say its the perfect tool for car mechanics aswell.. especially when you need to work behind the dashboard
I’ve been a carpenter for 28 years. Found this drill 2 years ago. Bought one for home and one for mom. I wouldn’t hog holes with it, but it can drive a 3” #10 into a 4x with no issues.
Lightweight and the grip is unreal. The only drawback is the directional button. The delay throws me off a little. Great drill though.
Have it and love it.
Bosch has a similar drill/driver with swappable heads and I hated it. I now have this Milwaukee and I think it's a big step up.
I also have 18-20v drill/drivers and the 12v is my go-to for day to day stuff.
Got the 3 in one version good for installing kitchens
I use that thing all the time.
I got one, it's great.
small correction on the drill setting. I actually like using torque settings while drilling as it reduces risk in breaking a drill bit like on metal, maybe also useful on wood so that you dont put too much pressure
great product
That's beautiful
Bosch makes a great one in 12v. Buy the one with the belt clip, more torque. The offset head is the most useful. Look for clearance prices. Comes with multiple heads . Offset, right angle, short head, and 3/8 inch chuck. Love my Milwaukee 12v hammer drill but also love my Bosch 2 inch 12v power planer. The small 12v Bosch carries well in a tool bag. Smaller than the Milwaukee.
Mine does the same and got it off walmart some weird brand for 20 bucks it got the angles and everything
Still innovating mileaukee !!!🎉❤
Looks sweet
I have one. Love it!!!
I'm a builder. I've switched entirely to the M12 system and haven't regretted it.
Damn, that's a nice lookin driver. If it's anywhere near as good as everyone's suggesting, will have to pick one up.
Other than the knuckle guard, this is functionally identical to a Bosch I was given close to a decade ago. Wonder if a patent ran out or something.
Good toy for kids, thanks for sharing.
Forward reverse buttons are not mentioned in this video. On top of the tool, hard to reach with thumb, membrane switches not mechanical. Prefer standard type of fwd reverse switch.
I have this and only use it occasionally. The magnet bit holder on the front. It's nice, but there is not impact function, only 1/4 driver, but it is magnetic as well. I got it for tight spaces. It has some uses. I need an actual impact and a hammer drill most of the time.
Side note: there is no switch, it has a button on top. It's not as convenient. Maybe you will get used to it, I haven't.
😍Awesome, I want one
Have one at work it's nice because its so like and i work on bodywork of cars, but sometimes its lacking a bit of power
Festool used to make these, or still do. They were elite,
Love mine
I've had a very similar Bosch Flexiclick for years. Never use it until you need it...
