    One of my favourite is the Flex PXE80, really versatile cordless polisher. Used it today too, to polish a pair of headlights. Also I've just learned by "accident" a few weeks back that Milwaukee makes cordless DA polishers, so reached out to them to have some on loan to try. They were sport and gave me 3 of those for a few weeks to try. Really cool machines.

    Test the Karcher OC3 cordelss low pressure washer. I have to wash my car without being able to use either socket or water. Good for people who use parking garages under their apt. complexes. The „bike” package allows also to use an external water supply i.e. an additional water source other than the built in. 4l tank!

    thank you Pan. I'm always enjoying your video and I just became a car wash enthusiast last summer because of you.
    just some questions here.
    i have all the chemicals and tools for car wash now but not polisher
    1. Since you mentioned that you need a specific size of polisher for a specific task, what do I need for just general use like doors and engine hood?
    2. i have some budget for only one polisher but not multiple polishers so maybe i'm thinking of polishing by hand for other parts where I need smaller size polishers. Is it doable? or physically impossible? what are the pros and cons?
    3. what is the difference between a sander and a polisher?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Год назад

      One polisher can't do all the jobs, it's impossible. That's why we use different size polishers. If you can only purchase one to start, the one that does the most work is usually a 5" backing plate. I just bought the Rupes Bigfoot Nano Ibrid (Jan 2023), hope it lives up to to expectation.
    I plan to use it polish the headlights on my Hyundai I30 (as the top of the head lights have a peeled like appearance, 10 year old car) after I do the wet/dry sanding followed by the polishing and then UV spray coating to get 1 year protection. I am using the Turtle Wax version to fix the headlight.
    My question for Pan is would an additional ceramic coat after the UV protection coat give longer protection to the headlights.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Год назад

      After you’re done polishing, use an IPA or paint prep to remove polishing oils and simply apply a ceramic coating. That will be your longest lasting protection and it already has UV protection.

    I’m not sure if this question was answered already with all your other videos as I don’t have time to sift through all the comments but in regards to battery powered tools and branding, where would you put Milwaukee as a brand in general for a guy that’s sorta new with detailing?
    I’ve just received an M18 power drill for Christmas as well as some drill brushes and I’m buying myself the m18 forged 6.0 battery with the supercharger to go along with it to clean my interior. I’m also very interested on the m18 DA polisher so I’m thinking of getting another m18 forged for convenience.
    You also mentioned the Ego blower and its popularity within the detail community but since I’m investing into the Milwaukee brand, what are your thoughts on their new two battery m18 blower? I’ve seen the 3D printed stubby nose attachment for the blower readily available on Etsy that could rival the Ego’s short tip.
    Thanks for your time and I appreciate all your hard work and content!

    I wonder if people realize, Flex is the inventor of the original angle grinder, which over time evolved into buffers and polishers. Their grinders and polishers are superb. They are now owned by Chervon, one of the biggest power tool manufacturers in the world. You get a lot of technology with Flex. I wish batteries were more standardized, so I could use Milwaukee batteries or Makita batteries in everything.
    I do not own anything from Rupes, but I really like what I see. I am looking closely at a few models. The Rupes 12 volt battery looks a lot like the Milwaukee M12, which looks like a few other batteries to be honest.
    I own many Milwaukee tools, corded, M12, and M18. There are many things I like about them. I do not own the M18 polishers, not yet anyway. I do have an older, corded, Milwaukee rotary buffer. It's 30 years old, very heavy, and will run forever. Not delicate, but if you need a tank of a polisher, that's it. I do have a pistol grip M12 polisher that I use with a 3 inch pad on small stuff. It's very nice. I use a M18 leaf blower to dry, and it's not as powerful as your Ego. Still plenty powerful though! I want a short top for it like you have. BTW, Ego is also owned by Chervon, like Flex.
    I have a couple of Milwaukee M12 die grinders I use with some Roloc wheels to clean wheel hubs or corrosion and debris when I do wheels off the car. Other detailers might look at those, especially if you are in the M12 line.

    What about making another series covering only the “hardware” such as microfibers, polishing mahcines, foam guns, pressure washers, spray bottles, etc. etc. ?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Год назад +1

      I have three high end blowers, including the high end Master Blaster Revolution. I have a video on all three blowers here: ruclips.net/video/4up2Atg4ks0/видео.html
      Before cordless blowers were a thing, people were using corded car dryers which were built for that specific purpose. Like anything, technology progresses, and people find different ways to use tools. In the case of the leaf blowers, people found they can do a good job at drying cars, and they're more practical as they're cordless, so it was a natural progression to start using those instead.
      Then you have people like me, who just like having the best of the best and different versions of it. Hence why I have many blowers. It's a sickness, I know. Just like I have dozens and dozens of sneakers in my collection, tons of headphones in my collection, etc. It's hard to explain.

      The heatgun really just brings up a few oils in the plastic, but doesn't really restore anything long term. You need a proper trim restorer. Here are two of the best options for faded and oxidized plastics:
