Ever herd of polymeric sand?, that’s what I am going to use In between but my pavers are smaller, you could almost pour a little concrete pad there next to the house
Just googled it now, wish I would have seen this prior. If my joints don't hold up I am definitely gonna redo my base with polymeric sand and give it a try
