I have had repaired iPads that has the screen popped up after laying under a heavy book for 2 hours. Pretty dumb when a customer has to Come back for that! So 4 hours is not that weird!
is cool but waiting 4 hours when the whole device can be done in 20-40 minutes is a bit long to wait esspecilly consitering I have yet to see a screen pop back up.

screens can pop up easy if the chassis has slight bend. sometimes the long adhesive setting time is needed

Really 4 hours I just use a monitor and my money tin on either side for 10 mins
