    Nathan, if you ever have a day where you feel like what your doing is not worth your time, know that you have helped a self employed photographer that was depressed and hated his job and took a chance on what he loved (photography) Your knowledge has taught me so much and I can't thank you enough for your insight. I have modeled a lot of my technique after what you do and my client list continues to grow. Keep up the damn good work and I look forward to more of your videos.

    I’m a 21 year old Real estate photographer and have been watching all your videos and about to buy your books. You have helped me a ton and are such an inspiration to me. I’ve only been shooting real estate for about a year and just recently discovered your channel. In a short amount of time I have greatly improved the quality of my work and am very excited to keep growing. Thank you for all you do!

    very helpful I actually had this situation today when I had to tilt the camera, but the thing is I'm not editing my images, it's done by the third party, however, whenever I need to edit for my personal clients I will keep this technique in mind! Thank you! So helpful. I learned so much from your channel I literally make 4k a month thanks to all your tutorial I even bought your online book!!
    The best channel for real estate photography! Keep up!

    THANKS for this post, Nathan -- Super helpful!
    I have been enlarging the canvas size "image>resize canvas" and honestly did not realize we could simply go larger with the crop tool to save time - Neato!
    This enlarging the workspace technique works for wide angle fisheye lens distortion correction as well to retain more of the photo.

    This is a great tip -- one of the best I've found on RUclips! I'd like to suggest a new topic for you to discuss -- PRICING for real estate photography. I'm an experienced real estate photographer in a relatively upscale area (Santa Barbara), but I have a hard time getting realtors to pay more than a few hundred dollars for 30+ edited photos to market a multi-million dollar listing. I'd like to hear your suggestions regarding pricing.

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  5 лет назад

      Thanks Bradley, we're almost neighbors (I'm in Thousand Oaks). Pricing is a very subjective issue, but I will consider a video on that. I do though cover that to varying degrees in my business book on REP, which you may find interesting www.amazon.com/dp/B07FB47JRT and there are some other videos on my channel concerning that to some degree as well.

    Phenomenal! Thanks so much for sharing this knowledge! Question though. I have been thinking about this for some time... Could one also imitate Tilt Shift/Perspective Control by using a mast instead of a tripod? What I mean is by using a mast with a camera head, adjust the camera to get the lines straight, then raise the camera to the needed height. And of course, one would have to use a cam ranger to control the camera. That does seem like a lot to go through, but it’s still a way cheaper alternative than an expensive Tilt Shift lens.

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks! Breaking out a mast with extra setup would eat into time on-site and profits. This takes about one minute on site where a mast and such would take much, much longer.

    I like your process, would you not get the same result by using a wider lens and then cropping back again after you get the verticals sorted out in LR

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  5 лет назад

      Thanks! And no. This was shot as wide as possible, so cropping only would lose some of the details/frame/comp; hence, the content aware fill, and cropping bigger than the image.

    And if you make a portrait photo and merge all them? Work too ? Using a 20mm and make 3 or 4 vertical photos, merge and cut the botom.

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  2 года назад

      Too much time onsite, too much time in editing, not my recommendation. Instead, at that point, it'd be better to invest in a shift lens, like I show in another video at ruclips.net/video/a1D8iNNkI3Y/видео.html
