    Today I need to leave the house early, so this 20 minute Yoga class if perfect for me. Maris, what I love about your classes is that you are very careful in the way you create them, that it is safe for us to practice, without turning too far or by using a block, etc., you always give detailed instructions to prevent us from getting hurt. Thank You.

    I'm with Eleni. The knee asanas of this practice were extremely difficult for me. I wish you had offered alternatives just like you did with the other poses. Otherwise it was good.

    Hi Maris! I dont leave comments usually but I would just like to let you know that I really appreciate that you care to make videos that are wrist free and inversion free. I avoid those positions often because of stuffy nose from allergies and wrist pain so your videos makes my daily practice much more enjoyable. Thank you so so much, take care!

    I was just looking for a way to get a quick mindful stretch from home (not a lot of room for full, dynamic yoga poses), and this was perfect. I'm blown away by how inflexible my hips are; I could barely stack my knees. I look forward to opening that up with practice. Thx for sharing this

      You're welcome! Just be patient with your body, especially the hips! To be honest, not all poses are appropriate for everyone. Make sure you don't feel any pain in the knees when you do hip opening poses. Let me know if I can help you with anything. Thanks for practicing with me!

    Thank you for this short seated sequence before my meditation practice this morning. I feel longer in my side body and more open to my breath. I loved the prayer twist variation in cow's face pose. I also loved the foot stretches from squat and hero pose. So needed! :) With gratitude, Melissa

    TheSunshinefee It could be several things - tightness in the lower body (hips, hamstrings, etc) or limited external rotation in the hip joints (sitting on the floor cross-legged is challenging). It's OK, just do what you can. Also, try elevating the hips (by sitting on a block or stack of blankets) so the pelvis stays slightly tilted forward and the spine stays long while you're seated. Hope that helps.

    I am teaching in northern Alberta and have to be in bed by 8:30 and I am 50 years old. This video helped me keep my flexibly. Thank you! I have to be quiet and respectful for a woman who is 13 years years younger than me! She does not practice yoga. So sad.

    Can you make one for severe knee injury? I can't stand and I can't do poses on my shin or knee. I can't sit with my knees bent

    the pose at 13.10 min in, I can't bring both legs in. One often stays in the front and the other is in. What could be the cause of that?
