Hirsch makes quality straps for sure. I would like to say to always use the backside of the lugs to press the springbars in though. This way you keep the lugs undamaged on the upside of the watch. Just my opinion. Enjoy the strap. Looks good.

I gave up on leather watch straps for my seiko spirit, even high quality German offerings because they rot. I now use (shock, horror) expanding straps. They have all the benefits of metal and leather straps without the disadvantages. They last forever. Perfect fit, so comfortable you forget you are wearing a watch, doesn’t rot like leather, easy to clean, water resilient, and adjusts itself to the wrist. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but ideal for the job in my opinion.

Totally agree. I have the dark brown on my SARB033 and the gold brown on my SARB035 which look even better.
I have the sarb035 and have bought a few Hirsch Duke straps in different colours (burgundy, brown and black). They really suit the watch and make it even more versatile (I also have a couple of Eulit Perlon straps and love the bracelet.

Nice watch and your watch strap looks really nice on this particular watch. I like Hirsch watch straps and have presently got two of them on an Orient watch and also on a Seiko 5. They are good quality watch straps and wear well.

I was going to get a SARB033 but ended up getting an Aqua Terra 41mm. Might still get one for the wifee as it's more of a girls watch.
