@@WizardOfOss Not all of them. The common cats and dogs are adapted to live in house, as most of them die in the wild. This only applies to sea animals and exotic animals.

Also, if you ever do this again, put them in a tank with filtration, cooling, (The water needs to be around 41 degrees Fahrenheit for them to survive) and no decorations or plants. Considering clione apparently have a life span of up to 2 years and it's 9 years since my visit to Abashiri, I'm pretty sure they won't be in that jar anymore.
If I could, I would take the next flight to Japan to break into that Tourist Information office, steal the jar out of their fridge (assuming they still have it 6 years later) and throw them back into the ocean. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic Japan won't let me enter the country. So they just have to survive a bit longer....
