As a bow player, I honestly can't believe how loaded the Wild kit is. Like, they're gonna have to take back somewhere, right ? The power level of this version of Bow just seems off the chart. People aren't really used to do it but from the footage, it seems you generate enough trick gauge to be under power coating 100% of the time if you just re-apply all the time. But what happens once we get bows with paralyze coatings ? Exhaust coatings ? The thought of having infinite of those during a hunt seems outrageous. I don't even want to think if the quick coating skill from Rise is in this game. And then there's Perfect Dodge. Dodgebolt was already the kind of skill that makes good players invincible on Bow in Rise. But a version of dodgebolt that doesn't replace charging sidestep, but rewards you with stamina for being good ? Are we just fine with the fact a good Bow player is gonna have infinite stamina from just dodging correctly before thinking about gear ? The whole thing feels too good to be true. Bow was always this DPS machine that was artificially limited by coatings and stamina management. And they just removed the breaks for free.
I don't mind the stamina dodge thing, if you proc I-frames like that I think you probably deserve a reward other than not getting hit since you're in melee range with a ranged weapon. As for the paralyze/exhaust coatings, Paralyze resistance builds up FAST (at least in World), and the arrows themselves don't do much damage at all. Having an infinite amount will likely lead to about 2 paralyze procs, then you'll just be doing a tiny bit of damage as you shoot for about 3 minutes hoping for another para. I think it's probably fine as it is, they are designing a whole game around these mechanics, after all.

It’s definitely going to be a whole new experience when it comes to bow! It looks good, feels good and rewards you HEAVILY for properly dodging. Gonna be WILDS 😎
I’m just picking up bow and practicing in world I love the tempo of action with still learning but in wilds it looks like you just have more I’m into it

I also had a blast bow build (thanks to team dark side) and now I have a Fat now build as well.
Awesome! I really love that all 14 weapons have their own personalities too that can jive with us in different ways as well. Definitely keeps the games interesting and ALIVE!

Not really. This isn't a bow. Not anymore... auto aim system with infinite coat... just put a rocket launcher skin on the weapon and it'll be more visually coherent... they just changed the bow for another weapon while keeping the name "bow" because people like you can't aim. After 10 years of playing with a bow, I'm just going to stop playing it with this new generation. because you won't need any skill to use it anymore. Pure garbage. This is what the new generations do with destroyed games and make them easier and easier just because they can't do anything and have no talent or desire to learn how to use a weapon... pathetic generation limit and generation crystal destroying the only good thing left in the gaming industry.

gameplay looks very mobile thanks god, world was a slow fest
It was pretty mobile in World, especially paired with evade extender, but yes it’s going to have a whole new bag of tricks in Wilds :)
I swear those frame rates are around 20-25 fps.
It’s not a locked 60, but not near 20-25 either haha. This is a test build NOT the final product so there’s going to be some issues
