Awesome vid mate - I'm so excited to get my hands on my EXB (whenever Make it Build it actually deliver it). The 7075 chassis: 7075 is the grade of aluminium. No it's not acceptable from arrma, the price of the exb models that claim to be upgraded!!! U didnt do any bad landings either 😤 arrma sort your sh*t out
None of their EXBs are better than aftermarket upgrades, just a waste of money for a car that after you have to upgrade it, it's the same as the regular version.
I think Arrma should pay you to bash their new model proto types before they commit to a production run. 👍 Oh well, helps the aftermarket folks put food on their tables. 😊
For over £700 that’s a pile of crap. No where near “extreme bash” or “xmaxx killer” lol 🤣🤣 Edit: look at the replies. Looks like we found an arrma fanboy kev!
Please Arrma give the chassis some serious profile to prevent it from bending. Of course something else will break then but when it’s less painful to replace, I‘m fine with it.
7075 Al is aircraft structural grade aluminum. It’s a lot the strongest (40ksi yield of 6061 and 70ski yield for 7075), but it’s really brittle (compared to 6061 anyways) due to the chemical composition and the amount of cold work. The “T6” bit refers to the annealing and the “6511” bit refers to the cold working the material undergoes. The “11” means it was stretched 11%. I believe that’s right but my engineering is a bit rusty.
Unfortunately the weight of the rc car is a disadvantage to it durability. Lighter 6s models could handle it, but when you go heavier there’s just more stress on all the parts. Love your videos kev! Always make my day! Keep it up!
m2c is also 7075 t6 the bracing makes a lot of the difference perhaps try drilling the chassis where the m2c bracing would fit and just install the m2c bracing. Although 7075 is aircraft grade aluminium so shouldn't bend easily it could be case of the weight of the beast so bracing as mentioned or it's not been heat treated or anodized properly rushing the process or it just didn't take as well on that chassis will be interesting to see if others have the same problem.

Air Control.
Awesome overview and Bash Kev 😱. Looks like an M2C chassis might be in her future 😍💪💪. The stiffening bars and top shelf 7075 is hard to beat. Hopefully the TP will cool nicely with less gear. Looked like a complete animal 👀🍻😎💪👊👊
Thanks bro! Yeah its a beast for ripping about, defo needs an m2c chassis or bash bar, im gonna try a bashbar on this one and see how that goes
@@KevinTalbotTV good deal Brother 🤗

I really enjoy your honesty and the fun you have trying out new products! I’ll be honest and say a stumbled upon you guys a year or two ago and the information you provided your viewers is the main reason I decided to get into RC’s! So thanks and I continue to enjoy your videos!!!
Kev: jumps keaton 50 ft in the air
Also Kev: *surprised pikachu face* "it's not sounding too healthy!"
LOVE Arrma fan boy!
He should do a “how to drive it proper” video, maybe a series....🤔
No it's not acceptable from arrma, the price of the exb models that claim to be upgraded!!! U didnt do any bad landings either 😤 arrma sort your sh*t out
very true
عرضك جميل ، ياليتك تتكلم العربية حتى أفهمك عزيزي 😊
None of their EXBs are better than aftermarket upgrades, just a waste of money for a car that after you have to upgrade it, it's the same as the regular version.
I think Arrma should pay you to bash their new model proto types before they commit to a production run. 👍 Oh well, helps the aftermarket folks put food on their tables. 😊
For over £700 that’s a pile of crap. No where near “extreme bash” or “xmaxx killer” lol 🤣🤣
Edit: look at the replies. Looks like we found an arrma fanboy kev!
ARRMA will be the company that outlasts them all. F&$k traxxas. They are the old dog that needs to be youthanised
@@GalloBlanco yeah the problem is traxxas overprice everything
@@b_pa55 You are paying for their support and availability. I am okay with that.
@@darKanthony if you need support from the company, then you shouldn't be buying RCs period.
@@GalloBlanco I've been doing this for about 4 days. Be elitest all you want. Maybe you should get a better job if you can't afford it =)
That thing is a beast, it could probably hydro plain water,
Please Arrma give the chassis some serious profile to prevent it from bending. Of course something else will break then but when it’s less painful to replace, I‘m fine with it.
I honestly think before putting it on sale to the public the rc company’s should give it to Kev let him do his thing then upgrade the weak areas
Arrma is like the dji of rc cars
Did you check if frame out of box was perfectly straight?
Car very good
7075 Al is aircraft structural grade aluminum.
Thank you I learned something
The Kraton is the ultimate 8s basher for sure 👌
Unfortunately the weight of the rc car is a disadvantage to it durability. Lighter 6s models could handle it, but when you go heavier there’s just more stress on all the parts. Love your videos kev! Always make my day! Keep it up!
Kev you should build the best budget rc basher
HOLY HELL FOR $700 FOR A ROLLER ????? FOR THAT PRICE IT SHOLD NEVER BREAK !!!!!!!!! $700 for a roller Arrma is smoking some good stuff
Build a Drag Slash. That would be nice!
Test the servo!can it lift you up!?💪😉🙃🥳
m2c is also 7075 t6 the bracing makes a lot of the difference perhaps try drilling the chassis where the m2c bracing would fit and just install the m2c bracing. Although 7075 is aircraft grade aluminium so shouldn't bend easily it could be case of the weight of the beast so bracing as mentioned or it's not been heat treated or anodized properly rushing the process or it just didn't take as well on that chassis will be interesting to see if others have the same problem.
kevin please keep us up to date on the 203 mph car...cant wait to see the first test run..
the only Arrma win over Traxxas is the design. again the beast design.
Arrma bois going crazy when Kevin said it's his favorite car. At the moment
He Said one of his favorite
