Great video as usual. Have you ever considered a project where you design and build a 1/4 scale (or bigger) project that you fabricate (3D print, C & C machine etc) everything? Chassis, suspension, drivetrain, engine, etc etc? Obviously this would be a huge long term expensive complicated undertaking. A very cool addition to anyone's collection and an even bigger impact on the industry overall possibly.
I was referring to the new 1/5 scale XLT you just purchased if you spray some WD-40 in there on your pull start when you take it off on the little latches of springs it keeps them lubricated that way they won't stick
I currently own 1 nitro car, and 1 electric, and consider myself a casual. From my casual perspective, these vehicles should come out of the box with threadlocker applied to the appropriate locations, and reinforced components should be standard at weak points (diffs, suspension). Even finding a decent battery and charger for my Traxxas Maxx required a bit of sleuthing on the internet to ensure I wasn't going to burn my house down. It's a cool hobby, but it definitely has a lot of downtime involved.
Yeah I like watching your video man they keep me laughing and keep smiling that's all I got to say the hobby needs you in it and I hope you stay in it for the rest of this year and man because now you making videos Man it ain't the same all right take a Good Year my man and enjoy the rest of your day
I considered this one alot.. But it needs more ground clearance and bigger tires. Otherwise it's just a oversized.. truggy, although they have their place too
I figured out a long time ago dealing with stripped out screws in aluminum to aluminum with blue Loctite on the threads I started using the red Loctite on the heads only, not the threads and of course after thoroughly cleaning both mating surfaces removing all oils, grease and dirt. This way if I stripped out the Allen head, which we all have done, I can carefully drill the head off the fastener then remove the threaded part much easier
Thats the great thing about online and shipping. I admit I like having a physical store I can walk into and like being able to hold what I plan on buying in my hands(especially certain things) but what can ya do.
You know what would be a great video idea (I think); take a bunch of your cars and like them up side by side from like that mini cooper car to the raminator to really show its mahusivness
Kev you really gotte give Muc Off Bike Cleaner a try. Really cleans the plastic, and ones dryed, it looks like brand new. Just a tip. Thanks for the great content, I'm a big fan!
Hey kev, keep an eye on the power switch on the car. That power switch tends to be janky and if you push the switch to far into the on position, it will shut off again, or the switch may be jiggly.
I also clean with water and dry with air compressor. After that I use sollicone spray on the metal parts like wheel hubs etc to prevent it from rusting,
Your Flysky GT3B should not be losing range in that short of a distance, I had one on for a cheap 1/10 Nitro and on the wide open oval you could drive until you can't hear or barely even see it any more, then you start worrying about putting your antennae up lol. Dodgy wire for the receiver maybe?
If a magnet sticks it just means it is more iron than nickel, tin and whatever other non-ferrous materials were used in the stainless. Technically, more iron usually means more stronger...stainless is weaker than carbon steel but has the benefit of not trusting so easily.
Kev! I know there's a lot of us waiting to see more tinkering done with the Nitro crawler! Plzz I miss your old content with you just fiddling with stuff seeing what you can come up with.
That problem with the pull starter: for the life of me I don't know WHY small engine manufacturers just don't make a nut or socket that you can use a 1/4" drive extension on the end of a drill. Pretty much everyone's got one now and if you don't? you can buy one at walmart for $39 Think of all the chainsaws, string trimmers, lawn mowers, garden tractors, etc that could do away with the bogus pull starters.
Hi Kevin you having trouble with your pool start when you take your pull start off spray a little WD-40 in there to keep the springs lubricated that will solve your problem
Cool big RC Truck, I was looking at buying a 5T either one of clones or the official Losi one but i don't think i'm going to buy one since there is the X-Maxx which is more practical.
Youre vids are always fun Kevin, always look forward to new content from you! I know you were still running in that engine, but do you think its a little underpowered? Also seems to be a lot of negative camber on those front wheels!
I said the other day that the raminator would be the best rc car in the world if it was lowered and lengthened and then this thing turns up I’m calling it now . This will be kevs new favourite I think ASBOlutely epic! 🤩
I put mtxl wheels & tires on mine. Looks much better with them. You need the rovan wheel extenders to run them. Also my whole exhaust fell off after only a few runs. I pre-checked all the bolts before running it too.
10:45 I love that "cleanish and dryish" lol.....I used that term when I had lady friends coming over to my live work loft.
Did you clean?
ish lol
Everyday is Christmas!! Waking up to a New Vid feels like Christmas!!!

Hey mate if you drill a 5mm hole in each clutch arm it should engage sooner making it pull quicker off the line. Worked on our pocket bikes
Hey Kev, you gotta come out to the states and get Cleetus setup with a track at his Freedom Factory!
I was referring to the new 1/5 scale XLT you just purchased if you spray some WD-40 in there on your pull start when you take it off on the little latches of springs it keeps them lubricated that way they won't stick
Loctite the recoil starter bolts, that’s why it locked up. I had the same problem!
Need to fit a set of those shocks onto the XRT, and reallly send it!!!
BEST RC CAR EVER WISH I COULD BUY ONE
I can't wait for the 4s Kraton video!
Very impressive for such a Heavy car, and looks good to!!
good video Kev
HEY YOU ARE MY FAV RUclipsR
That thing handles very well! Very nice!
I currently own 1 nitro car, and 1 electric, and consider myself a casual.

I love the sound and smell of nitro rc cars
This looks like the losi mtxl. Nice truck, seems well built.
That suspension needs some love. Bottomed way out with less than a 4ft drop.
That thing is bad ass. Gotta turn that high speed needle clockwise a 1/4 turn per tank to lean it out for tuning...
I absolutely love this car, it looks awesome
Yeah I like watching your video man they keep me laughing and keep smiling that's all I got to say the hobby needs you in it and I hope you stay in it for the rest of this year and man because now you making videos Man it ain't the same all right take a Good Year my man and enjoy the rest of your day
I bet it'd be nuts with bigger tires! 😉🤣
I considered this one alot..
But it needs more ground clearance and bigger tires.
Otherwise it's just a oversized.. truggy, although they have their place too
Awesome bit of kit, impressed 👍
its epic bro you gotta have a rip!
Going to need a electric conversion 💪🏻more power!
Kevin have you done a krayton 4s v2 video. Love to see one
You should try making your own drag car from scratch I'd love to see you make one
I figured out a long time ago dealing with stripped out screws in aluminum to aluminum with blue Loctite on the threads I started using the red Loctite on the heads only, not the threads and of course after thoroughly cleaning both mating surfaces removing all oils, grease and dirt. You convinced me to go electric but the sound of gas is just sooo satisfying.
Rc has around here gotten allot harder to get ahold of nowadays.
Thats the great thing about online and shipping. I admit I like having a physical store I can walk into and like being able to hold what I plan on buying in my hands(especially certain things) but what can ya do.
Wow 😲 that a beast would love to see it fully electric
Kev! You can use those shocks on your Outcast 8s, need two sets of fronts, 6k cst oil and use the stock outcast springs. These do not bend haha.
The BEST Gas Car that I have seen on your Channel! Loving that thing! 👍👍💪💪
You know what would be a great video idea (I think); take a bunch of your cars and like them up side by side from like that mini cooper car to the raminator to really show its mahusivness
Come on Kev, we need to see more monster truck content! As in the full size one!
Kevin i’ve been a fan for about a year now and mostly I’ve learned all my RC stuff from you thank you
You should try the Element Ecto! One of the best out of the box rock crawlers!!
Kev you really gotte give Muc Off Bike Cleaner a try. Really cleans the plastic, and ones dryed, it looks like brand new. Just a tip. Thanks for the great content, I'm a big fan!
Stempy must not be well . He was low key on this rip . Awesome RC !
Hey kev, keep an eye on the power switch on the car. That power switch tends to be janky and if you push the switch to far into the on position, it will shut off again, or the switch may be jiggly.
Absolutely epic! that thing rips!
This is Absolutely Epic 👍😉👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great Video! Ok I have visited the website and I am actually amazed on the prices. Very Reasonable!
DUAL STEERING SERVO. HOLY COW KEV THIS THING HAS GOTTA BE A MEAN MONSTER
Looks awesome! I expected it to be more expensive
Wow that thing looks a beast!! The durability for its size is seriously impressive!
Exelente video, creo que todos quedaron sin baterías y tu seguías corriendo!! I like this truck!
Wow im actually really impressed with this thing.
Awesome video, do they do an electric version?
Are you using smokeless oil Kev? Looked super lean this time out but sounds abSoLuteLy Epic!
The XLT next to the Xmax makes the Xmax look like a mini max, 😂
I also clean with water and dry with air compressor. After that I use sollicone spray on the metal parts like wheel hubs etc to prevent it from rusting,
Looks cool. But disappointing that it has the starting problems so soon.
Is this the first video Kevin has done without breaking anything
I think you're right!
Can't wait for the skate park 👍
The welding of the exhaust could definitely be better lol I wonder if it's even back-purged...
That thing is awesome!
Nice vid, looks pretty robust.
Did I see a Arrma boost 2x4 on the bench a few weeks ago?
I wish i could afford a good rc car! One day.
And kev! You NEED the baja sbk! With the taylor treatment
Those tires look disproportionately small for the truck. Wonder how much better it would rip over the rough stuff with some bigger wheels
I remember seeing these on Botajell's channel a few years ago. I wondered how long they'd take before we get them in the UK.
Very well built, and sexy RC !!!!!
Durable, Im impressed!
Love the lingo conversion for Americans I love ur energy awesome video keep up the good work
Great video again Kev. Really nice car.
Great video! Can’t believe that bell is still alive and in one piece!
cheers Kevin Talbot 🥰
If a magnet sticks it just means it is more iron than nickel, tin and whatever other non-ferrous materials were used in the stainless. Technically, more iron usually means more stronger...stainless is weaker than carbon steel but has the benefit of not trusting so easily.
Kev! I know there's a lot of us waiting to see more tinkering done with the Nitro crawler! Plzz I miss your old content with you just fiddling with stuff seeing what you can come up with.
What kind of speed numbers can you expect from that behemoth?
Never heard of this one. Surprisingly good it seems. I thought for a long time that alloy arms weren’t a good idea. Buuuut what do I know….
I don’t even own a rc car and I love watching these video’s it looks so fun
It is very fun, you should get into it! You'd LOVE IT! ✌🏾👍🏾🙂
@@29namnori I was gonna say the same thing.
I don't buy any RC without Kev video to see how the car performs great video Kev🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for getting one!
That problem with the pull starter: for the life of me I don't know WHY small engine manufacturers just don't make a nut or socket that you can use a 1/4" drive extension on the end of a drill. Pretty much everyone's got one now and if you don't? you can buy one at walmart for $39

Hi Kevin you having trouble with your pool start when you take your pull start off spray a little WD-40 in there to keep the springs lubricated that will solve your problem
I can’t believe how much this costs. Sticker shock!
Itd be interesting to see how this stacks up against the losi 5ive-t.
Better video. When you don't kill this expensive toys. Happy New Year to you and your crew. Great entertainment. 👋👍❤️
that thing is really durable i really wish it was brushless though!! maybe buy another one and brushless conversion it?? hahahah
Always enjoy the content, especially when it involves petrol!
@thekevin.. Faker
Alex kowaliuk here hey Kevin I really like this car
I love that you’re enjoying the 1/5 petrol cars Kev! They are great fun and reliable unlike nitro cars lol
Wow wow very amazing video friend
I realy like that this cars exhaust is not that noisy.
Cool big RC Truck, I was looking at buying a 5T either one of clones or the official Losi one but i don't think i'm going to buy one since there is the X-Maxx which is more practical.
Kevin, you should anser an Great question... is the tlr tuned typhon a basher or racer!!!
Kevin can you remove the pull start and just use a drill? Seem like it would be easier unless you forget your drill at home.
Ohhhhh, it's christmas every daaaaaaaaay
When u gonna do the 4s v2 review???
Youre vids are always fun Kevin, always look forward to new content from you! I know you were still running in that engine, but do you think its a little underpowered? Also seems to be a lot of negative camber on those front wheels!
I said the other day that the raminator would be the best rc car in the world if it was lowered and lengthened and then this thing turns up
I’m calling it now . This will be kevs new favourite I think
ASBOlutely epic! 🤩
i dont Think so because the thing he likes the most about the raminator is that it is realistic an and this thing is not realistic at all
This car must have been made ready for Kevin lol.
RTK - Ready To Kev 😂
Looks like a Losi Mtxl clone
But is it Stempie proof?
@@michaelmiller7199 It might not be lol . If Kev can accidentaly split a Traxxas Max in half, god knows what Stempie can do to it 😂
How many subs can I get from this current 31 aim 40
Great, thanks Kevin for your videos. Greatings from Germany
yes😀
Love it and it’s so big
Why is that cleaning method not good for bearing? I would think that it would be perfectly fine?
Brushless is faster, cleaner, easier... but I love the sound of Petrol!
I put mtxl wheels & tires on mine. Looks much better with them. You need the rovan wheel extenders to run them. Also my whole exhaust fell off after only a few runs. I pre-checked all the bolts before running it too.
Has got to be one of the nicest rc's i've seen in a while, great video Kev!
it is pretty nice
@thekevin.. faker
true
That things a beast!
