I guess I need to be patient because at this point the prosecutor hasn’t shown anything showing she’s guilty. I went in judging her saying she’s guilty but the prosecutor not recrossing anyone is leaving a lot to my imagination. For example she should have asked the daughter more info on the hole in the ceiling and she should have asked the first policeman about the “mysterious” person outside her neighbors house being Doug. It’s leaving room for the jury to believe she was abused.

I lived with a VERY abusive husband for many, too long, years. The erratic is part of the battered wife syndrome. The abuse takes it's hold on the victim and NOBODY other than the victim knows, or can explain, their behavior. I went to the the police, with a protective, and cryed for help with no help from the police. He beat me, he broke my arm, he tore my clothes off me and left a trail of distruction. So when you try to figure out the victim and the behavior, you won't, and will never truly understand her actions. In public she's a saint, behind doors, she crys for help!!

I'm so sorry...the police-lawyers-judges (men) need better training to see the sign of domestic violence and abuse. The abusers will deny and lie so credibly that the victims look like the liar and abuser! Look at Gabby Petito...they didn't protect her, and she ended up dead at the hands of her boyfriend. I was lucky, I was able to leave safely, but the physical and emotional abuse left scars, especially when my dad befriended him and blamed me and said I deserved what I got. God Bless you ladies and pray for strength and healing for you/us!

Her fake crying and sniffling… when her lawyer went up the first time she made 0 eye contact with anyone. All other times she had her head up. It’s as if she knew what her lawyer was saying wasn’t true. That’s my speculation though. I’m only like an hour in.
Update #1: she couldn’t even look the daughter in the eyes. Sign of guilt and shame. 0 signs of remorse or empathy for the daughter at all. Appears like she was in another world while Eva gave her testimony, but that is just the appearance. I will be looking for patterns of behavior like these. The defense attorney is awful, he’s making no real points & the victim’s daughter knows her dad better than anyone. Prosecution kinda sucks as well. I will see what the evidence looks like. The bullet being through his side is definitely a red flag. The daughter saying how Ashley was trying to be disciplinary, marrying the dad within nine months of his deceased wife leaving the world, and throwing temper tantrums shows signs of Ashley being the controlling one… if the dad truly was violent then that means he would have had anger issues, and at the least wouldn’t have just sat silently listening while Ashley would whine in his ear. As far as the bullet hole, people accidentally shoot bullets all the time mishandling a gun so I won’t assume it was on purpose nor will I assume he was the one who did it at all. At 04:43:50 , her crying is absolutely fake. No tears at all. Face didn’t even get red. Will get back with more updates as I go along. 😁
