Dan, thank you for your Army service, I am retired USAF, I would like to ask all your subs to take a moment this weekend to remember those that gave all for our country. 🇺🇸. Thank You.
Another good video of how loads can give you a problem, and common sense ways of solving them. Continue to stay safe out there and find a good safe haven this weekend. Love that little shotgun puppy.
A few of the Maverick flat bed drivers I follow have basically the same routes as you do. Granite City, Effingham, Louisville, Illinois. Sometimes they go to Jackson, Michigan. All mainly steel items.
Unfortunately I have no choice but to be out this week end cousin's daughter's graduation. We will be staying in the state and only be 250 miles from home You be safe out there!
So I currently drive a 26ft, and I'm delivering 6 massive generators this morning and it's one of those loads that's definitely meant for a flatbed. Have to use straps to drag the back ones up to use a forklift to get them off. Think my company is trying to save money? 🤣
Thanks for showing how they build buildings now with prefabricated sections. They do this all around here but I got to see the first slab and that was cool. Bailey rocks. Your costar is diverting my attention to what you are saying and she is into this riding with you business all the way. Thanks Dan.
I know you don't show bunk time but I'm curious, where does Bailey prefer to sleep? As much as she looks around my guess is one of the front seats so she can keep an eye on things.
Prefabricated makes it quick, I saw a shopping center being built nearby a few years ago; everyone said that went up quick, I replied, I wonder why they were taking so long! We shouldn't be surprised in this day and age, we have the technolgy.
Next time maybe try to use one of your extra dunnage you store at the front of your trailer. Stand it upright on the ground. Place your foot on the bottom and swing the top into it.
Ann Arbor is North of Detroit....It is a College Town.....Now you Will Know when your are in Detroit when you have to close your windows !!!! Trust Me on this one :)
A Mr. Dan have asked you a few weeks ago and I'm asking again how long is your new dorsey trailer pick one is it a 48,51or 53 foot trailer on the video it looks quite long?
I was in Branson Mo. over the weekend and at the motel we was staying at a truck driver was there. was still there Sunday morning when we left. He had a flatbed and the load was trapped so I'm not sure what he had on, but I wish I could have got layed over in a place like that when I was driving OTR. Some of the places I was in had nothing to do that we get to. One had a pool hall, but that was 25 cente a game and it doesn't take long to get tried of that. Have a great day and God bless. Dan
Killer music, Dan. Love all the Bailey action you show. Thanks for posting; your channel is really superb! Happy Memorial Day, too, and thanks for your service!
At the beginning of the video there was a truck that had those side skirts/aero dynamics things. Have you ever thought about them? Good, bad, fuel mileage. Great videos, I’m not a trucker, though I am through you. Thanks.
DAN!!! God Bless ya, you pet Bailey! Was great to see as she always seems to paw your arm for that. I'm sure you give her more-than-adequate love and attention plenty, off-camera. That is made evident by her love for you. But it did show you're a man's man Dan! Tough job, badass truck, wonderful dog and stellar owner of all that!
I think those forklift operators have loaded a few of those before. Well orchestrated dance. What is the major freight for Mercer van trailers? Thanks! WLBS
Those tilt-ups, that you showed at the beginning, were cool. I've drawn many a lift plan for a tilt-up lift job. It's sure a quick way to build a large warehouse type of building. I've seen many schools using this them, too. I wished our schools here would look at using them. I hate seeing $100M high schools.
It certainly looked like a safety conscious Company that was loading the four big pieces of pipe. I think it would be worth your while investing the time to send them the picture of how the wood shifts while in transit due to vibration. I think they would put cleats on every piece of wood after they see that video. Especially knowing that DOT would write you up for that as an unsafe load. Assuming that is what they call it in the USA. versus Canada. How old is Bailey?
Rainy Day Question: Construction sites usually shut down on rainy days. If you have a scheduled rope and they are 'rained out', are they still obligated to have someone there to unload you?
Dan your a true PRO in the trucking world spot on tarp jobs and care for your load and one can see how safe you are , If your ever in Knoxville Tn at Mercer Town here , i would love to buy you a drink of choice and just bend your ear for a few

Such a sweet little dog
That load of lumber was like hauling Gold..Better strap it down good...
At 17:59 Bailey it's saying "C'mon Dan!, take me outside to play!!!!!". 😆 😅 😂 🤣
Hey Dan. Excellent video. Love the music. Very professional video. Thanks for the advice on my channel. 👍👍
Bailey is Adorable in drivers seat of your pick-em-up truck. She‘s a Great Addition for Everyone.👍
Another good video of how loads can give you a problem, and common sense ways of solving them. Continue to stay safe out there and find a good safe haven this weekend. Love that little shotgun puppy.
Great video as usual. Stay safe!
Another good route Dan is 69 to 469 at Fort Wayne, take it over to US 24 to 475 at Toledo.
I never miss your videos, Dan. Keep 'em coming. And, THANK YOU!
Bailey is super cute!!! Another awesome vid, stay safe.
A few of the Maverick flat bed drivers I follow have basically the same routes as you do. Granite City, Effingham, Louisville, Illinois. Sometimes they go to Jackson, Michigan. All mainly steel items.
Another example of a dedicated pro hauling the goods. Be safe Dan!
Mr Dorsey has been working hard with all the heavy loads recently!
Those extra trailer ribs are paying off!
Unfortunately I have no choice but to be out this week end cousin's daughter's graduation. We will be staying in the state and only be 250 miles from home
You be safe out there!
Nice one Dan.
Happy memorial day thank you for your service safe travels

Jump ship. I've been there. Trust me there's better companies.
Nice looking co pilot, very photogenic.
Recently saw a video where guys were doing the same think and the crane came over
Thats what I would have done, I pulled a flat bed for 12 years!
Good video. Have a safe trip. 👍🏻

Thanks for all the loading & unloading scenes, keeps it interesting. Take care.
It looks like you walking around helping them as they raise that wall
I really like how good Baily travels with you. First time I've seen you pet her during a video. Safe travels to the both of ya.
Travel safe, Dan.
I know you don't show bunk time but I'm curious, where does Bailey prefer to sleep? As much as she looks around my guess is one of the front seats so she can keep an eye on things.
Yup wind, vibration all add up to things moving in mysterious ways. Even light loads.
Western Express is on high alert with DOT. CSA score is thru the roof
Don't forget good Ole Swifty Swift.
I was just in Fremont,Indiana heading towards St. Louis today I might run into you one day 👍 stay safe love what you do !
Welcome back and happy memorial day to you and your family
Looks like a new Amazon facility going up??? And what was up with the covers on the tractor tires?
@@deere7227 Makes sense!
my wife likes the music with the loading of the big plastic pipe
Good job 👍 Bailey patting pops on the shoulder...Awesome
Good choice avoiding the Cincy. traffic.
That was a massive building they were putting up.
The size of that slab was huuuge!
Prefabricated makes it quick, I saw a shopping center being built nearby a few years ago; everyone said that went up quick, I replied, I wonder why they were taking so long! We shouldn't be surprised in this day and age, we have the technolgy.
Dan who was the first guitar music by?

Love how Bailey puts her paw on you 🐾 ❤
@@MrBigR928 is that a basenji dog breed or what kind is it??looks like a basenji
Man you know that lumber truck was getting heavier by the mile without any tarps
And worth ur weight in gold too. Building materials up 300%
Thanks Dan and Bailey watch out for the winds out there supposed to be some severe gusts.
Ann Arbor is North of Detroit....It is a College Town.....Now you Will Know when your are in Detroit when you have to close your windows !!!! Trust Me on this one :)
👍😉.
WTH is that building going to be? Amazon warehouse is my guess
A Mr. Dan have asked you a few weeks ago and I'm asking again how long is your new dorsey trailer pick one is it a 48,51or 53 foot trailer on the video it looks quite long?
Thanks Dan. After all the years of construction through Dayton, it is still difficult driving through. Tax dollars at work 👏.
Thank goodness bailey cant drive or she would probably leave you standing there lol. Have fun be safe and god bless dan
Thanks for another great video Diann looks like Bailey’s having a good time

Enjoy your video's and have been watching most of your old video and up to 340
What type of navigation unit you using?
You make great videos Dan. You 100% show the life. Looks better out of a Pete rather than the Volvo my company has me drive
Stay Safe, be careful, and we enjoy the videos!!
Dan, have a quiet weekend, will the laundry, bathroom and food services be available @ the home hub on holiday weekend❓👀🤔🚛
At the beginning of the video there was a truck that had those side skirts/aero dynamics things. Have you ever thought about them? Good, bad, fuel mileage. Great videos, I’m not a trucker, though I am through you. Thanks.
Thanks in advance for the v-boards Dan 👍
Hoping to be back to work after the holidays 🤞ankle is about 60%
When they were loading the second layer of pipe,it looked like one of the wooden cross pieces broke.
Good eye!
It probably would’ve been shorter taking 24 from Fort Wayne through Toledo to Detroit shorter miles and smoother lol
Anything to avoid 94... I ran 12 yesterday... not a bad drive if your not in a hurry.
Is it just the camera angle or are those some big ole plastic pipes lol
Good plan to not be on the road over the long weekend
That wall construction is called 'tilt up' wall assembly.
A California standard methiod of building.
@@tcniel been used here in the NW since the mid 70's
That slab was huge! That’s going to be a big building!
@@irongoatrocky2343 Original panels excluded insulated core. Can remember being in a new HD and seeing a inch of ice on inside of the panel.

Thanks again Dan another brilliant video of life on the road
You and your side kick stay safe
🌵🇬🇧👍
I wonder if a small makeshift wooden wedge or shim may have worked, but then again I guess you want to avoid scuffing the plastic of the pipe.
Dan, what is your mailing address? I would like to send Bailey a little something something. Thanx!!
Those guys that loaded the plastic pipe? New what they were doing!
surprised that truck at 11:10 wasnt getting a police escort with all that money just sitting on that trailer
Nice catch on that piece of lumber. That could have caused a major issue if not noticed and allowed to vibrate out.
Do truck drivers in the us flash there lights to let a truck that’s overtaking when it’s safe to pull in we do in the uk ..
lol Cincinnati traffic? How as 465 around Indianapolis Dan ?
Thanks for the ride Dan. Bailey is ready to get out. Get off the road for the weekend.
Stay Safe
Wow that telehandler was running with a flat, mashed up tire.
No time to change it I guesss.
Western express co.dont take care of there trucks n have inexperienced drivers
Hope you waved as you went by my place off I-69 Exit 210! :)
Dan can you tell me what resolution you film at? Thanks.
I love your dog's ears
It helps with satellite reception 😅🤣😂
That would be the T/A in Dexter Mi. Exit 169 on I-94
Great idea not to be on the road this weekend. Keep safe and take care of bailey 😉
Dexter Mi is a couple miles west of Ann Arbor on 94
Hope you have a good load out of Toledo Thursday
That dunnage was a bit off dimension, IMO.
Dang, that's going to be one giant building
is I-75 in Ohio still 55 mph for trucks?
Wow! That was one BIG slab of concrete!
What sort of hand signals where they lol !!
