I had a really good week. I unloaded and reloaded everyday this week. I also realised I miss my sidekit.

that tri-county canvas is it on the Indiana side? back in the eary 90's i was leased on to George Transfer and we had a terminal in that area, i bought several items off of them, it was reasonable priced back then.

How about a hi. 35yrs and 3 million miles is pretty good going for a UK/Europe driver. Rope and sheets/tankers/Fridges. you name it. Retired no since 2010 due to a little cancer, but I'm kicking that crap. Kepp on doing it Dan and hi to Teresa.

Oh man, watching you walk next to that load being unloaded made me nervous. I know a guy who lost an arm and a leg walking on the other side of the trailer from the forklift. Steel plate's not very squirrelly, but if it did decide to come off the forks, it's heavy as shit, and I don't trust those forklift drivers to know what they're doing. Stay safe man.

Hi Dan, getting off the road for Memorial Day weekend is a great idea. Thank you for your service both in and out of uniform. Funny you mentioned the side kit in the title, you may remember I asked you about it, of probably more than a year back. You told me it had been damaged so you had just left it sit at home. i miss it too, just because it adds a lot of variety to the loads you carry. What made you bring it up again? Are you noticing many potential loads that require it? Have a great weekend and many good-paying loads and safety in the future. Give Baily an extra walk for me, she's a great codriver, always happy to see her.

Watching the video and was a bit surprised to see you spent the night at the interchange at Brazil. I live 30 minutes south of that interchange and always go north to I-70 on State Road 59 when heading to Indy or points north as when visiting oldest daughter at Lafayette. Great videos -- try to watch them all. Be safe out there.............

Had to be towed many times at landfills when damp, the clay gets extremely slick.

Just for giggles, check your air filter assembly, see if fluffy might have found a warm place for the winter, since you don't use it daily.
US 30, though the northern part of Illinois is the 'Lincoln Highway'. US 40, through the southern part of Illinois is the 'National Road'. I don't think that US 50 has a name other than 'US 50'.

Landfills and scrap yards stay clear. Loaded some old racking one time wouldn’t say were it was going. Went to get bills said junk yard. I told them to unload it not going to a scrap yard. They unloaded it I went home empty. Side kits are nice. Had one for years they are nice and they are a pain to. Have a nice holiday weekend mr Dan and your four legged friend.
You went right through my neck of the woods when you was on rt50, Odin Ill, if you hadn’t wanted to stop at Wally World in Vandalia you could have got to Granite a little easier by going one more town west to 127 up to 185 to 70, all nice looking country, Great videos and enjoy your weekend, be safe and thank you for your service sir.

Dan... that wasn't PVC pipe, that was HDPE (high density polyethylene) pipe. Landfills use miles of the stuff in many shapes and sizes. It just holds up better... usually... than PVC and other materials in what has become way too many mountains of waste already.
You could always break the kit down and stow in the nose. Or go with the storage rack under the trailer. Only takes a half hour to break down and stow
After you mentioned Walmart Bailey started talking. Probably giving you her list of things she wanted from Walmart lol
