So, oils will bond hair no matter if you apply heat or not. Heat will probably help a little bit. But it isn't necessary. Rosemary oil has been shown to promote hair growth. So, that part is true. But the protein in hair bonds oil/fatty acids no matter what so... you can just apply it to the strand sans heat.

I've been able to grow my hair back with liittleextra reactivate hair growth serum. Taken a three-month apart. First one in Jan, second in March. I didn't know that you have to think this much just to oil your hair 😂. And what is wrong hair oil?? I'm Indian, I've had my hair oiled by my mum and dad since I was a baby, and they always drench my hair with oil and even I like it drenched. So here's my advice or take for you or anyone reading this (btw, I've fine, straight hair and they are thick). The main and major thing that'll help your hair is Champi! that is massaging your scalp when you apply the oil, no matter what oil you use, they all work the same, unless you're allergic, buying expensive oil is just waste of money. Traditionally in India, we use Mustard oil and coconut oil and if you're really rich or something then olive oil and trust me all of the 'science' and 'hacks' behind hair oiling is just a simple thing and that is champi or massaging. People here put the oil in for 2-3 days or more, some people don't leave their hair without oiling it, but ideally I would say 1-2 days is more than enough.
So I spent $50 on a “hair growth oil” at Sephora for nothing? Great!!! Lol. Where would I find mustard oil? Do you use regular coconut oil or fractionated ? Thanks so much for the info!!!

Keep in mind your hair is very fragile when it has oil on it. Be careful brushing it and use a wet brush if you must. The tight hair style will lead to breakage and traction alopecia in the long run. A loose bun would be better.
It also depends on the type of hair oil ur using, thicker hair might be able to handle thick oils, like caster oil, but for those with thin, or with less, their hair will not be able to handle it, so it all really depends on this basically, besides the amount ur using.

You also have literally very different hair type than western people and live in a different climate probably so it depends on the individual. My hair is naturally oily so it on day 2 (I wash it every other day) it already just looks wet. Also don’t say I’m washing it too much. I’ve tried gong longer in between washes for a while. Spoiler alert it doesn’t work for my hair, and my hair just gets nasty.
I hate the western “outlook” on a lot of these videos. “Don’t use too much oil”, Indian people have been putting oil in our hair for millennias. If our hair is the most sought after in terms of wigs and extensions, I would suppose we’re doing something right in regards to our hair care. I know not everyone has the same hair type, but please understand my frustration when I see water down versions of rituals and practices our ancestors have been doing for ages. It becomes annoying when I see “influencers” trying to educate the public of things they don’t know much about. I can guarantee a lot of westerns have only recently started hair oiling about a year or two now since it’s become a *trend*.
A lot of different cultures have been using hair oil for centuries, you’re not special. People will always take something that exists and make it their own, there is no 1 way to do it. Also you guys have a different hair type than western people, it’s literally in your genes so even if you would not oil your hair you would still have better hair than a western person. Some people their hair will not respond well to leaving it drenched and apparently indian hair can take it. But you’re acting as if she’s bashing your culture when oiling your hair is such a basic thing for many women of different ethnic backgrounds

Yes!! They all have a date on them or a container icon that displays the number of months it is good until expired after opening. Most expire 6-12 months after opening.
Heyy so question, I accidently used too much oil when hair oiling, I have pretty fine hair and wash it ever 3 days, or 4, and my hair was still pretty greasy after washing it out and drying it. It's now the morning later, and my hair lost its volume because I didn't get to wash out all the oil yet, but I cannot shower again since my scalp will make my hair greasy if I use shampoo again. I also cannot rly keep it in my hair since I heard that's not good either. Help???
Just so yall know you do not need to heat up the oil because it heats up as your massaging it in and you do not need a scalp massager (your fingers work perfectly to get the oil to penetrate).
Sure, don’t massage your scalp with your hands, use a plastic or a silicone brush instead 😂 I also love how she gives these recommendations with utmost conviction that she is right, and without thinking that maybe what is true for one person, can be a completely different story for the next 🙄
So interesting how Americans are acting like this is their trend, their idea, girl indian and latin American women been doing that for decades, soak your hair in oil, sleep with it on your hair, there is no wrong oil just have to be an organic natural oil , I use rosemary, mixed with castor oil and tea tree oil, and my hair is long and think, for years, stop acting like this is new cause is not , maybe is new for you Americans but not for the rest of the world
No one said it was their idea. And they use different products and methods sometimes from Indian people. I am Latin and I didn’t oil my hair until recently bc I’ve been suffering from dryness and breakage
in theory it makes your hair grow faster but whether thats true i dont know, im not sure if its ever been proven in trials or studies. at the least it’ll moisture your scalp and hair strands
There’s really no evidence for it and can lead to overgrowth of malassezia yeast and aggravation of seborrheic dermatitis. Like putting oil on your lengths can help keep it smooth and shiny if you’re prone to tangling and roughness but don’t freakin put it on your scalp

So what has been working for you south Asians for centuries might not work for people of a different race with different hair genes.
Amazing
You have the best hair??? You have big ego I think😂
Does clarifying not negate all the benefits of the oil?
Came here to comment the same thing. Would love to know if you’ve now switched to a regular shampoo?
@@Lisa-yl8oi not yet, my frizzy hair is so dry to touch that clarifying shampoo sounds scary. But will have to try 1 time sooner or later, to know if it really will fix my life... 😀
Okay no matter the hair type. It is not wrong to use a lot of oil. Just make sure you wash it out. Look I am white and I use a lot of oil and leave it in over night and then wash my hair the next morning. It really helped my hair. What should I do with 5 drops? Even with fine hair..
Thank you so much for the hair tips! 💗💖🎉
My hair is naturally oily so it on day 2 (I wash it every other day) it already just looks wet. Also don’t say I’m washing it too much. I’ve tried gong longer in between washes for a while. Spoiler alert it doesn’t work for my hair, and my hair just gets nasty.
@Sandra Swan yeah, I don’t care what people tell me washing my hair more frequently is just better for my hair 🤷♀️
@Sandra Swan also my ends are really dry. But my scalp is oily. It has been getting better when I wash it more often though.
That’s true, oil should be matched to your hair, but it has nothing to do with oiliness, it has to do with your hairs porosity.
Wait jojoba is pronounced hohoba??? I feel like a peasant now 😂😂. I always said jojoba like the Jo as in joker. Haaaalllllppppppp 🙃
Yup is Ho Ho ba
Thank you this is a very helpful video
This vid is a lifesaver! Thanks!
What about the natural oils already on your scalp? Sebum
Wait I should only use hair oil on days when I use clarifying shampoo ? I only use clarifying shampoo once a week..
5 drops would not even cover 1/4 of my scalp and I have an undercut
So useful!
Is oiling ur everyday?
Your hair structure is scientiffically different. Its more durabale from the moment it grows out of your head.
Take a moment. Oiling is not exclusive to Indians. She speaks for many other sections of the world who can relate.
Never knew Indians could be more annoying than Italians 🤣
Is laurel oil good for fine hair?
hi i have very very thick wavy hair (2a-2b) and it’s totally fine to use a lot more oil for thicker hair. i use two types of oils(mabye like 10 drops per oil) and also put coconut extract on my ends and my hair is so soft
Yesz., I trust you ❤
Do Someone know some good hair oils for thick hair?:) (btw I’m not good at English so if the text isn’t correct just don’t care)
grape seed oil
Black seed oil or any vatika oil would be good
Grapeseed oil, argan oil, castor oil ❤️
argan and jojoba!! be careful with castor oil bc there are some studies suggesting it can cause hair loss
argan oils good! i use it and i have thick hair
jojoba oil is wayyy lighter than most oils like castor so i’m confused as to why it’s not good for thin hair?
I um have the same hair as u what har oil do u use pls tell me !!!!!
Just gonna say tho...u sooo pretttyy!!!
Please can you tell me the solution of dark lips my lips are pink from childhood but from past 6 years my lip is giving dark and specially upper lip pls give me solution any cream or other thanks
I saw this video on the same :
Permanent Solution to 4 Common Health Problems (Dark Lips, Bad Breath, Snoring & Acidity)
Tip 6- Putting oil in your scalp
jojoba oil is a light oil and perfect for thin hair types tho ???
Is it OK to use an electric scalp massager? I noticed some hair comes out.
My scalp is oily (genetics and humid environment) so I just brush it to distribute the oils.
Oil before shampoo??
wait do you wash out the oil when your done?
She said she has fine hair so she can’t use coconut oil.. I have thick wavy hair, would it be alright to use coconut?
I wouldn't use coconut oil on your hair. It can actually cause more damage. You'll find alot of misinformation on coconut oil. There's alot of better oils out there for oiling your scalp and hair.
For your hair, yes. But coconut oil is highly comedogenic and can cause hair loss if applied on the scalp
@@Luana-ry3wi I've never heard of it causing hair loss but I do know it can cause scalp issues because it can clog the hair follicles. It can cause scalp conditions like dandruff and or dry scalp and things like that.
i use argan oil is it ok
Um what's the name of the oil you are using in this video?
Will this not make ur hair greasy the next day
What oil are you pointing too?
You’re so pretty 🤩
Hello!! How is this haircolor called?
Great tips Thankyou! X
What is that air oil?
Jojoba oil is not a heavy oil.
I don't understand the constant eyebrows raise . My friend does that too. It's so unnatural lol
do you oil the ends tho?
When I hair oil and wash it out I notice my face pores get larger, every time I hair oil this happens. Does anyone else experience this? And know what to do about it?
Is clarifying shampoo same with scalp scrub? Asking bec these are the only things I have now :(
Does skincare products expire ?
Yes!! They all have a date on them or a container icon that displays the number of months it is good until expired after opening. Most expire 6-12 months after opening.
Rosemary and thyme and grape seed are all great for growth.
i have light thin hair too i never knew we shouldnd use coconut oil😭 thanks
What are some light oils for thin hair?
If you find bajaj almond drops, try it
Grape seed oil
@@Kazuha-jd3fl thanks dear

Heyy so question, I accidently used too much oil when hair oiling, I have pretty fine hair and wash it ever 3 days, or 4, and my hair was still pretty greasy after washing it out and drying it. It's now the morning later, and my hair lost its volume because I didn't get to wash out all the oil yet, but I cannot shower again since my scalp will make my hair greasy if I use shampoo again. I also cannot rly keep it in my hair since I heard that's not good either. Help???
don't expect miraculous results if your hair is extremely dirty!
Hi ..would love some tips for keratosis pilaris please 😫🍃
cerave salicylic acid smoothing cream worked wonders for me
Look up kp duty
Just so yall know you do not need to heat up the oil because it heats up as your massaging it in and you do not need a scalp massager (your fingers work perfectly to get the oil to penetrate).
If someone is looking for what she had in her hands: Nila Botanics hair oil
Sure, don’t massage your scalp with your hands, use a plastic or a silicone brush instead 😂
I also love how she gives these recommendations with utmost conviction that she is right, and without thinking that maybe what is true for one person, can be a completely different story for the next 🙄
Wait what? Jojoba oil is way more ligher and suitable for fine hair low porosity too!?
U are absolutely fine how do I got it?👀
Her- u can even use just a drop of oil
Indian moms- *has a heart attack*
Where did you get the shower cap from?💕
Oiling hair before or after shampoo? And if after, when the hair is wer or dry? My hair is very dry and falling off, and i need the oil😭
before! one day before is good! your hair should be dry as water and oil doesn’t mix
3-4 hours before you shower
Don't put on scalp regularly
So this lady is labelling coconut oil thick and rapeseed oil lighter oil?
She said trust me so many times thay I immediately don't trust her
What does this hair oiling do for your hair? I use hair oil every day on the length of my hair but not on my scalp.
It makes your hair stronger and makes it grow faster. i dont need to do it though bc my hair is dummy thick and grows like vines 💀💀
in theory it makes your hair grow faster but whether thats true i dont know, im not sure if its ever been proven in trials or studies. at the least it’ll moisture your scalp and hair strands
It softens your hair, adds vitamins, moisture & shine
There’s really no evidence for it and can lead to overgrowth of malassezia yeast and aggravation of seborrheic dermatitis. Like putting oil on your lengths can help keep it smooth and shiny if you’re prone to tangling and roughness but don’t freakin put it on your scalp
@@kzvegansuperstar there’s also been some evidence of castor oil promoting hair LOSS in india
best way is to leave it overnight then wash it off the following day
Do you have dandruff?
Shittt girl I just use ogx hair oil there ain’t no specific hair type on the label 😂
Just oil your hair. Not much to it. Massage it in.
I was the 1k like!!
Coconut oil is not good for hair
Omg not me using 10 drops I feel so bad rn😅💗
Lana Rhodes 😳😲😅😂
5 drops ….
Yes rosemary hair essential oil worked so good for me now it restored my hair and made it thicker like i used to have when i was a kid ❤️ my hair falls less too 🍀
