- Hi Everybody! Welcome to My Big Tidy Up! If this is your first time watching a video of mine, I hope you enjoy this! I have been wanting to give this bathroom a makeover for quite some time! I wanted to create my own “HOME SPA”! The thing is, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money or have a huge project! I would definitely call this a Budget Makeover! I love the results! The space looks cleaner, more modern, more organized and more functional! I was even able to do a couple of easy DIYs and re-purpose some items! The things I bought new, were definitely budget friendly decor! I hope this gives you some motivation and entertainment! ENJOY!

What a transformation! I love the more simplistic design. To me it feels more calming and soothing. The lamp looks like a whole new lamp, too. And thank you for the tip on painting. I knew about taping things off but it never occurred to me to use plastic baggies. Such a great idea. And I like how you shop the different rooms of your home and switch decor pieces around. That can really make a huge difference sometimes. Well done!

All of the previous decor and the teal color was just too much, and defeated the whole purpose of a calm space! I really have been into more natural wood tones like bamboo and lighter colors! And I’m glad you enjoy me switching the decor from room to room! I like rearranging things like that and making some thing that seems old and dated, new again sometimes all it takes is a change of location! Love the light and bright look of your "spa". Once again, a huge change for little money which makes it even nicer. That tub tray was a great inspiration to simplify while creating a luxury environment. We use white towels in all of our bathrooms except the powder room. It makes it so easy to change decor items for the seasons and holidays. Great video.💞

I’m always excited when I share a new video, but today I must admit I’m extra excited!🎉For those of you that have been with me for a while you know that my primary bathroom has been a work in progress! I finally have it nice and organized, but today’s video is all about decorating! I have been wanting it to feel like a spa, without breaking the budget! I think I finally got it done! Hi Lisa! I did think about putting the circles in groups of three! I am definitely all about putting things in groups of three or five, since I like odd numbers when it comes to decor and styling! I just felt like I had too many round things happening around the tub area, but I might consider putting an extra one in the water closet where I have two already! Thanks Khrystie! I love Dr. Teals too! My favorite is the spearmint and eucalyptus, but our Walmart doesn’t always carry it so it’s real hit or miss! When they do have it I try to buy extra so I never run out! Lol thanks for watching today!

Thank you Eeeek!!! I really did love the little lamp and I loved the blue glass! There was a part of me that really didn’t want to paint it, but I knew if I didn’t I would never use it and I wanted to get good use out of it! I tend to paint things a lot because I want to reuse them, but also it eases my guilt because if I paint them I can usually find a new location or a use for them and I don’t have to give them away! Thank you so much for watching and I definitely will enjoy my new space!
Hey DeDe!!! Wow!! First off, great bathroom to work with. I love everything! You will be able to relax in the tub now!! I love the bamboo look! We're doing so many renovations here also. We just redid our guest bathroom and put in a jacuzzi tub. I love it!! I wish I could show all the pics. The funny thing is it seems when you do a video on an area, I've just done it or I'm thinking about it!! Great minds think alike. As far as the bathroom we just did, we gutted it and started fresh!! Now we're doing floors in the whole house and that is challenging!! Again thank you for another great video! Maybe you can add more videos a week cause now I have to wait for next Friday to see what your up to!! Lol have a great weekend!!😘

I would love to see your photos of what you’ve been doing! I have another tidy upper friend who did a kitchen reno and she messaged me her progress! It was fun to see everything she was doing and it turned out beautiful! It sounds like you guys are extremely busy! You are much braver, much more ambitious and probably more talented than I am! The thought of redoing my flooring myself, scares me to death! 😱😱 How long do you think it will take you to complete your flooring project?
Funny that we both seem to be doing projects similar projects on the same timeline! You are 100% correct, great minds do think alike!
@@MyBigTidyUp we started the floors I June and have been doing one room at time. We're about half way through the house. Working on some this weekend. We redid the kitchen in January. New countertops. Where can I share pics with you? I don't do email.
