Thanks for the info. Forgot how to set up the program cards for hobbywing as it's been years since I've used one. Just picked up this esc but the new G2 version for my drift car and stocked to get it dialed in.
No this is a race esc and all the rc's it's designed for have the motor the correct way it really wouldn't work well in a trx4 you are better off with the axe r3 or fusion systems
@@harlyquin you can reverse the motor direction it says so on the website. for sensorless motors you can swap 2 wires and it will reverse direction for sensored motors it is menu item12
@@WTFRCCars then do you think this esc is still recommended to be bought this year? and is there another esc in the same price range that is better in your opinion?😁
I would definitely say it's the best for the price and there are a good few guys at our local track all running the same ESC no issues with any of them so far
@@WTFRCCars yeah I was thinking the same about bec, nothing jammed I was just testing my mod1 gears on a RC stand and noticed the speed of the fan varied and then stopped...
Thank you for the information.
No worries 🙂
Dude, another helpful great video. Thank you so much Craig.
Glad ya like it :)
@WTFRCCars this is what I'm putting in my xt2
@Holmanrc yeh works really well with it 😃
@@WTFRCCars what servo do you run in yours? And is it the low profile style?
@Holmanrc I run one of the ludicrous lipos ones but you want anything 18kg and fast full sized or low profile will fit
Thanks you that was very helpful 👍

Cool let me know how ya get on with it in the drift RC I run the XD10 in my yokomo MD 2.0
If you look at the back of the program card all the corresponding parts are on there on table 2 just ignore 10,11,12
so you cant reverse the motor direction like you can with the other hobbywing 120amp esc's wish i knew that before one for my trx4

@@WTFRCCars it would because ive been using a hobbywing 120amp with a 10.5 motor for a while now, i just wanted a waterproof esc

@@kiefmaker yeah, but its going in a crawler so sensord is what i need
That's only on the latest version the none G2 can't be reversed for sensored
Is this esc still working well, sir?
Yeh still working really well, the xt2 runs fantastic at our local track with it :)
wow is this esc's durability good?
Definitely durable I've run over 25 races now and won many of them the settings work well too :)

What time of battery is that
2s shorty pack
My fan om esc stopped working at 3S. Broken?
The fan runs from the bec voltage so 2s or 3s the fan gets the same 6v so it could just be a faulty fan or something jammed it

@dutch_rc maybe just died
@@WTFRCCars yeah that's possible bro, i've send the seller an message...
Bro I did it with my crawler one but I don’t think I did it right lol
