Most places run 17.5t in blinky mode no boost or advanced timing in UK any way but best to check at the track your wanting to run at, 17.5t would be lower rpm per volt that 13.5t but I have won with a 17.5t against a 13.5t so it's close anyway :)

Keep the antennas apart as these receivers also transmit data back to the transmitter it's self so it important not to have anything including the other receiver antenna close to it

Thank you. Do you know if flysky plans on coming out with a 6 or 8 channel Gyro for the noble pro? Adfs3 protocol? I have the 4 channel Gyro, bit I need another channel for sensors. Only work around I can figure out is the duel reciver setup. Do you know another option to get another channel without running duel recievers? Thank you do much for your reply!

@chrisniziolek5735 search my playlist in ibus 2 there is a multi channel ibus 2 breakout box that would work to give extra ibus 2 sockets or extra pwm channels :)

Thank you very much for your time. I'll probably have to go with duel recievers. That break out box looks huge, it probably won't fit where I need it too.

From memory you have the press the 2 throttle trim buttons at the same time you must have pressed the steering trim buttons

It won't work you can't get calibration to run as the pro + has its own battery board and throttle is higher resolution

@@WTFRCCarsThanks ! There is another curious thing with the timer though. When you test the timer without a model active, so not bound to a receiver, the timer of PL18 is approx the same as my stopwatch. However, if you power up the model and bind the receiver suddenly the timer of PL18 slows down approx 20%. So one minute on the stopwatch is only like 49 s on the PL18 timer 😅

@@WTFRCCars FS should have thought of this when they developed the iBUS2 protocol. Unless they intended to force us to AFHDS3 and iBUS2 and abandon our older technology and invest AGAIN in their new one. Shrewed business practice. But we are suckers and they know it.

Maybe needs the centre trim moving slightly as the 2nd touch should be reverse lights so maybe it's just hitting reverse a little

I also noticed it happens after release throttle for a moment a then brake. If brake just after release throttle it is normal brake light. Any way to setup this in radio? (Flysky G7P)

And is there some way to disable turn signals completely? If I disconnect lights cable from ch1 (with steering servo) and put into ch3 only lights cable I cant change lights mode. (Changed by steering wheel like 2x right to turn on/off, 3x right to daylight, 2x left to hazards). I tried to assign ch3 to a button or 3 way knob but it only works as on/off.

@SvkFill I'd try moving the throttle trim forwards a little then calibrate the esc again

The only esc's hobbywing have enabled it in is the axe R2 and R3 so far.

Run it with a 10.5t motor and it would work fine for drifting prob not a good as a dedicated drift esc but yeh it would be ok

I didn't pay any for stuff to UK I'm guessing it depends if it gets stopped on the way in.

The pro+ is definitely the lowest latency I've raced with all of them the pro + also has a higher resolution throttle giving more control over throttle and brake but it's very difficult to show latency in a vid but it's something I'd like to do if I can find an accurate way to show it :)

Tbh I'm an IT engineer and if your worried about spying and snooping you would not use Samsung/Apple/Facebook/RUclips they all do it and the assistant software doesn't do anything close to what any other companies do but I do get your concern and I have mentioned it to flysky on many occasions but there's no other way to back up the memory

@@WTFRCCars Thanks for your concern. The data seems to be in binary not ASCII and perhaps they have some encoding scheme to make it proprietary. Similar issue was early on with OTX and they fixed it by going the ASCII/text route. I think there are major hardware and soft/firmware changes coming in the future from FS. I was given some hints. Perhaps more memory, SD card support and ETX collaboration?

@klausmewes3622 Think we will see much more Edge tx radios from all but the biggest of brands and I think that's a good thing but I think that the likes of sanwa and futaba could find themselves loosing market share if they don't allow edge tx on their transmitters too

fax, same here and the market has really changed. Theres this whole Spektrum brand and other RC companies now, as well as a broader market for battery charges, just everything has explanded.

Same thing here. It's been 20+ years for me and everything is different. I'm older, so catching up is a headache as I navigate what electronics I want to kick off my reunion with RC cars.... I like the NB4, but they really need to make a more basic 4 channel version again with the nice screen at a price that is good for beginners..

@broderp the nb4+ is low price for it's performance and you can turn off the features that you don't want and even remove them from the menu :)

It's the only way to update them but the next new firmware from flysky is said to block 3rd party receivers so will be interesting to see the fall out from that one !

So only enhanced Rx will allow you to bind 2 receivers to one memory, but on enhanced receivers you have the option to set one of the ports to ibus to allow older sensors or ibus 2 for the newer ones :)

No as the transmitter has no way to know trail braking is active or not abs will only work when you apply the brake

thanks for the follow-up! The rx are 2.4GHz DSM2 that I have been using with my old Spectrum DX3c TX. I think i got them from hobby king years ago. I have several of them and it would be great if I could still use them with the nb4. Thanks for the reply!

@RVJimD unfortunately they will only work with spektrum tx for flysky you need afhds3 receivers not DSM

I was afraid of that. I just got two new noble rx the other day.

As far as I know it's just a brighter back light and re design of the screen colours and layout, as for the PL18 and EV I'd love to see them get software to match but haven't seen any plans for this from flysly

@@WTFRCCars Thanks for the reply. Ditto. But first I would like them to fix the timer bug in the PL18 FW. The throttle, i.e. J3, used as timer trigger setting won't be saved at shutdown and needs to be set again every time on restarts. Have you noticed that also?

@klausmewes3622 yeh just had time to check it out and it definitely does not work after a re start until you select J3 throttle again I will get a vid done and get flysky on it :)

Yeh for me these are a good balance of price and yet you still get a good hydraulic system

Could be anything, bad interference from cheap servo/esc receiver placed too close to metal, could even be something in the area your using it causing bad interference?
