Nice set up! Do you know if this esc would work on my re re kyosho optima pro build? I really like this model esc.

Hey! Just getting into drift, I have the 100a rocket ESC. Whenever I’m in the calibration mode I cannot set my reverse endpoint.

If the centre and full throttle have set then best guess is the transmitter doesn't have enough travel in the reverse direction

    Hi
Thanks for your great videos and information 👌👌. I have the same ESC, received it yesterday. Installed it, and calibrated it as per the manual. My one does exactly the same as yours when calibrating. The blue LED flashes once done, and keeps flashing even when driving forward or reverse, although the manual says the LED colour will change when driving. The manual says that there should be a beep once done, but my one does not. However, it works just fine.
Should the fan come on once you switch the ESC on? My one does not. On my other Hobby Fans ESC, the fan stays on.
Please let me know your thoughts.
    Thanks heaps again!!
    Cheers
    Eddie

Yes the fan should come on soon as it's powered on, if you have the blue flashing like mine it's because you have it now n blinky mode no turbo or boost :)

@@WTFRCCars Thanks for the reply. Yes, thought so. I disconnected the fan plug, and applied 6V to it, but did not run. Plugged it back in, switched the ESC on, and measured the voltage at the plug, showed 5.8V. So, this confirms the fan is faulty :(. I am returning the ESC for a refund, and ordered a Hobbywing Quickrun 10BL120 G2 instead.
Thanks again for your feedback :)
      Cheers

@eddieroux8850 believe it or not the bl120 is a rebrand of this esc made for hobbywing by surpass, surpass make a lot of the lower end hobbywing esc's :)

I have tried to get mine calibrated with a couple different receivers I go through the calibration process and it appears to be calibrated but after full brake the esc just flashes a purple light and has no throttle. Any ideas what could be going on? Thanks

I'm guessing the centre point is not correct on the transmitter

This is a race esc and all race rc's use the motor in the same direction so you can't reverse it unfortunately it won't work in a reversed motor rc
