Slags off the consultants for not focusing on what she wants because they bring her feathers and black after asking for feathers and black, then immediately walks out and picks something that doesn't have any of the elements she asked for 🤦♀️
Yeah, that made me scratch my head too. She's a horror story.
In typical fashion she exceeded her budget too. Of course I'm sure it's money she's worked n saved for...
She does explain when she comments that black is an example of what she really wants: something that people haven’t seen before, something unexpected perhaps. I don’t remember her exact words but we get the sense that feathers and black are within the spirit of what she wants without being mandatory. You don’t see her saying that to the consultants though, so we do feel like -> 🤦♀️ I guess there wouldn’t be a show without some editing emphasizing that sort of issue 😅
EXACTLY!! I was screaming because how are they going to pull what you like if the stuff you tell them isn't actually what you want. The only thing that kept to what she told them is poofy princess dress. It wasn't feathers, it wasn't black. Consultants can only work with what YOU tell them. I hate brides like her.
They don't specialize in black
This episode kind of gave me whiplash - woman details a clear vision, snarks at consultants for bringing her stuff that meets her criteria, goes and picks out dress that no one (not even her family) ever imagined she'd be interested in, then complains that family likes the dress, goes on about how she doesn't care what anyone thinks, then gets upset when family expresses their opinion.
Yeah, she not confident in herself and has no idea who she is. She's also only thinking about what other people will think of her rather than how it makes her and only her feel. She's going to have a miserable life living this way.
Spoilt that’s why
I don’t know…is the first bride mature enough to be married?
“But I am different”! 🙄
She's insecure in what she really likes and she's probably afraid to speak up. It isn't easy.
Says black n feathers then picks out traditional lace with sweetheart neckline n complains the sales staff haven't got a clue...
She said she wanted something "different", and the silver was different enough for her
@@brockreynolds870 1:40 She literally said focus on black and feathers and the sales staff haven't a clue what she wants. Were they mind readers? You say black n feathers n the first "different" dress she picks is sweetheart neckline with lace?!
I'm a fan of Randy's n thought it wasn't his fault she didn't say silver ballgown rather "focus on black and feathers"
Attention seeking is what she is. She still doesnt know her identity.
@@snsn7251 yeah, she thought she wanted to be different. The. They brought her different and she was like no I’ll take the mainstream dress thanks. I guess it’s different because she overpaid for it.
This is literally how every salesmen/ saleswoman felt like inside, “yeah we’re having another shopping Karen here”😑
Marlene is your common or garden type personality who thinks they’re ‘edgy’ and ‘special’, ‘eccentric’ even…no they’re not, they’re just rude!
Exactly!!! I just said the same thing. She's trying so hard to be unique and it just goes to show she's NOT. People who're actually edgy don't even know they're edgy. It's not an act. Not something they're consciously doing.
Exactly
Yes ... trying to be sooo different but really no.
@@cocokai9661 legit.
Her version of being edgy and eccentric is to just always do the opposite of what other people do/like. I haven’t finished the video yet but I think she’ll only like a dress that her family doesn’t like, and if her family does like a dress she’ll change her mind and decide she hates it. She’s not original, she’s just contrarian.
The second Bride, Angelina, was adorably lovely! I hope she has a wonderful marriage.
She reminds me of Isla Fisher
Her makeup and facial expressions, combined with that gross hair "style" she wore, made her look quite ugly, frankly. Nothing "adorable" about her at all.
@@jb6712 what is wrong with you
She looked absolutely stunning!! That dress looked beautiful on her, and it's not a dress that I'd normally like!! 🥰❤️
She reminds me of Loo Brealey
Second bride is the sweetest person I've ever seen. The way she asked them to love her dress was adorable 🥺
Most artificial “weeping” ever. The dress didn’t suit her at all. To use a phrase from the first brides family, it “made her look heavy”. She was entitled too, just not as bad as bride 1.
Right away this speaks to me of a marriage that is not going to last. She is so indecisive and wants to be edgy and you can’t really be married and be edgy all the time.
I think I'm the only one who thinks Marlene was rude, especially towards the consultants. The eye rolling and foot stamping attitude was immature beyond words!
For $10k she should be able to get exactly what she wants...not choose from 5 dresses while being filmed for a TV show.
She wasn't rude at all...she was direct and decisive. and OMG!! "Normally we don't take a bride shopping"? I wouldn't even walk in that store after that comment. Would you buy a car without walking through the lot?
You're not the only one. She screams entitled brat to me....and she had no idea what she wanted when she walked in then blamed them for literally finding dresses that fit what she said because that's "not what it was about"....🙄
She was super snotty at the consultants for bringing her what she asked for then immediately went out and picked something with none of the features she asked for. It's fine to stand your ground, but she had a terrible attitude doing it.
@@rivertam7827 They shouldn't have stuck her in the back room and "brought her stuff" in the first place. They should have been taking her around the showroom and showing her things.
She’s the definition of rich spoiled kid. There’s nothing bad about being outspoken and saying what you think, but eyerolls, faces she makes… NO
You are SO right, sister!!
And she was so annoyed at the consultants for not picking the right dresses, but whenever she went to pick one it was nothing like she said she wanted???
10k dress though - woa!
She is a horror. Good luck to her groom.
Exactly! Her facial expressions and everything was very disgusting!
She complains that they’re not bringing in dresses that she asked for and then goes and picks one that’s nothing like she wanted. I thought she was too rude. I completely forgot they have to actually deal with Bridezillas almost on a daily. Hats off to them because I know I’m not capable of dealing with this level of rudeness myself 🙄
Yeah she was completely awful
But isn't Marlene British?
She asked for a big ballgown with feathers. There wasn’t a single dress in that room that matched that description.
She has absolutely no manners. So rude and immature.
She has a RUclips channel
The first bride gave very clear instructions and then did a complete 180 on them. And was snippy with the consultants for doing as she asked. What a brat.
I think the first bride is more in love with the idea of being different and eccentric than this is part of her personality, and I don't know, having what you want is good, but she seemed a entitled teenager for me.
She said eccentric it has many definitions
Her definition probably means Unique
My definition of eccentric after watching this is peculiar idiosyncratic.
New Hubby is most likely in for a world of pain lol
Her eye rolling towards consultants came across extremely arrogant
She’s got the “ I’m not like other girls” syndrome bad. A good way to tell Is how they point out the reason why they are wearing the things they do, only because it makes them feel different. When I assure you, every girl who wants to feel different goes for black or crazy colors. Not because it fits their personality but because they think it makes them feel unique.
I really hate when brides use the words "unique" or "different." What should matter is how a bride feels/looks in a dress (and it's price), not whether or not it is different from other brides'. Truly, not only are the many brides not attending the others' weddings, but no one ELSE cares if all brides in the same shop buy the same dress.
First bride -Self absorbed and spoiled
She's #notlikeothergirls
"We will cut people from the guest list, I don't care." She's a peach.
Yep, she doesn't value relationships compared to getting what she wants. For me, a wedding is a celebration to be witnessed by people I care about and if I can invite all those people, why not? But some women focus more on the wedding dress that is for one day and not people and relationships that can last a lifetime for the most part. However, this is just me.
She'd be doing them a favor if she does.
Yes, she is so selfish!
Divorce in two years... no doubt
@@whatevergoesforme5129 Totally!
i’ve never seen a bride say yes to the very first dress! so happy for angelina she literally seems like an angel
I said yes to my very first dress back in 1980. I knew exactly what I wanted & found it at the first bridal shop we went to but my mom said we should try on more just to be sure so I did. I ended up going back to the first dress because I knew it was the one for me.
It’s in her name! :)
I can’t believe they didn’t like that first dress. It’s beautiful and she looks perfect in it! ❤
I picked my first dress too. I tried on a bunch after to be sure, but spent the whole time stressing since it was off the rack and on sale and couldn't even be held for a day. When you know you know
Really don’t understand why the second bride’s entourage didn’t like her dress! I thought it complimented her so well
Same here
They seem like haters tbh
They are cousins and the bride looks wayyyy prettier than them. Smelled like pure jealousy 😒
@@LakshairathnIn my perspective, they are just very straightforward people who say their opinion as it is, no sugar coat and no soft lies. They aren’t tying to be mean but think they mean well by saying their truthful opinion and not lie. People have different views on what they like and they see as pretty so they gave her their opinion on the dress (which was that they didn’t like parts of it). They didn’t call her names or insult her beauty as a person. They even were so understanding and supportive when she came out again and said that the dress is the one and wanted everyone to like it. If they truly were jealous/hating, they would have called her ugly (beyond not liking to dress) and refused when she came out again. Also remember they are the bride’s family and seeing how such a sweetheart she is, I don’t think she will like people bashing on them from just a couple minute video.
The way she asked them to love her dress broke my heart.
I feel like Angelina should've gotten more recognition, she just seems like a really sweet person with good energy. That dress looked amazing on her!
I didn't hate the dress but I didn't love that huge flower in the front. Remove that and I think everyone would have been on board immediately but it was probably the thing she loved about it since without it there would have been other dresses like it. Just goes to show there is a purpose for all of the different fashions.
She says she loves birds. How does she think they acquire all of those feathers for the dress? This girl needs to wake up, in more ways than one.
Some are synthetic but yeah at this price they would be real which is sickening and should be upsetting for her if she loves birds so
She has a You Tube channel where she shows off all the birds she owns. A lot of birds. She seems much nicer on her YT channel. She really seems to love and care about her birds. She even has a line of bird care and feed that sells in pet stores.
@@rhodareid274 what's her RUclips name?
That's exactly what I was thinking. So strange
You do realize birds shed feathers all the time, right? Lmao.
Well, she finally got what she wanted. A tacky dress with a tremendous price tag. Hope she grows up and loses the pampered, "I don't care" attitude. Being an adult is hard work.
The first vintage dress the second girl wore was gorgeous and ahead of it’s time in terms of fashion! She gleamed so bright in it!
The first dress compliment Marlene so nicely! The dress she picked looked like two separate dresses, the waistline started way too low. At least she's happy...
I'm happy the second bride didn't let her entourage deter her and that they backed her decision.
I was an asset Mgr at a bridal salon in the ‘90s. I also have a BFA in Fashion Design, and was a dress consultant. What I would suggest to the first bride is two things:
First, you want people to see how lovely, happy, and in love you are, not that you’re wearing a unique wedding dress. In other words, look at me, not the dress.
Second, if you want feathers, incorporate them into your bouquet, the centerpieces, the cake, anywhere but on your dress.
I had a dress consultant a lot like you. And I just would like to say THANK YOU. I had several issues I was worried about. She eased that and I (and all my wedding guest) loved my dress! It literally spoke me. But it's ladies like you with a open attitude and the right guide that makes that so possible! You see what we can not and help us see that. It really does mean more than you'll ever know.
@@staceylynn4700 thank you so much! I’m glad you found your dress.
You are so right! I wish someone had told me that!
The way the second bride had to cry to wear her preferred dress on HER day and had to say, "Pls like my dress." Why wasn't anybody rushing to hug her already oml?
Why should they "rush to hug her"??? Grief, what a childish thing to say and do!
Why, she's getting married for heavens sake with all the responsibilities that entail. Followed one assumes to be a mother. Goodness me!!!!
I personally would never ask for anyone else's opinion when choosing my wedding dress, but I also understand that everyone's process is different.
Me too, the only opinion I want for my wedding dress is my own :)
literally same, it’s my wedding, my special day it should be about what i like! Not others
All I can say is I feel bad for the groom.
Why ? He chooses her he deserves that lol
Me too and I bet they are divorced by now.
She has a youtube channel. They are still together and seem to be doing just fine but I don't believe they ever got married. She has a very different personality on her channel and I think maybe this whole drama was just for show

They never got married but they’re still together, she’s a bird-education centered content creator. I’m pretty sure they literally just brought her in as an actress, this is very different from her normal persona lmao.
@@HorsesIC What does a bird-education centered content creator do? Sounds like a make up job like podcaster or "influencer".
@@ML-ul2zq She makes educational videos, vlogs, and blog posts for parrot and other pet bird owners. She also makes and sells parrot food, toys, and artwork. It's super niche but pretty interesting.
The first bride is nuts! It's like she's looking for a costume rather than a wedding dress.
What an obnoxious personality lol! She even hates the dress she picked out herself then says it like someone else did something wrong
She’s such a bird lover, yet she does not mind that birds had to die to make that dress😂
I agree. I think the first bride is rude and childish. You can have a vision...but this bride was foot stomping whining.
She was foot stomping because they have her what she asked for, which is the worst part. Childish and limited in expressing her actual vision.
She is a pick me girl for sure. "I'm so quirky, I like birds and I want a black wedding dress" 🤦🏻♀️
… that’s not really a pick me…
@@Aigle20350 not a pick me but definitely one of the people who say “there’s not like other girls”. She wants to be different so bad.
That's not what pick me is...but she is a "I'm not like other girls" kinda person. 😅
some ppl actually liek black and feathers… they ain’t all pick me, but she was fs a brat
I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes people focus too much on being different rather than what actually looks good on them.
The 2nd girl was soo in love with the dress, I'm happy she stuck to her instincts. It's her wedding and she deserves to feel beautiful ❤️
If Angelina wanted the first dress, I’m sorry but who cares what everyone else thinks!!! And she went for it! You could see in their faces they only agreed because she begged them to ( that’s sad) But I’m glad she got what she wanted 👍👍
Eccentric? That’s why the consultants were so lost, she wanting something over the top that was more accurate
Right? She said eccentric, black, and feathers, then she herself pulled a white lace dress, saying it was exactly what she wanted then complained it wasn't her vision....??? Omg
When Randy got the black veil I was literally laughing.
Lol she looked like the day of the dead bride.
The black veil makes her look like a mafioso widow
That first lace dress is one of the most beautiful, classy and expensive looking dresses I’ve see on these shows and it fit her perfectly.
Between brides who crumble under their entourage’s opinion and someone who knows what they want when they see it I prefer watching the second kind, at least as a viewer.
That "please love my dress" rrreaallyyy pulled at my heartstrings!!
Marlene must have been a very spoiled child because she turned into a very inconsiderate adult
Mother wasn't much better, and Dad sat there like a lump with nothing to say.

The consultants couldn't wait to ask if she was gonna say yes, they couldn't wait to get it over with
The first bride was a spoiled brat. She didnt care she went over budget. Feel sorry for the groom.
She may be a different character in real life. It's hard to be natural with film cameras in you face. Sometimes they are encouraged to go a bit over top to make show more interesting. That is probably part of it
I wonder if they are on this programme and being filmed they pay for large part of dress anyway. There must be some kind of payment there
Note to entourage: when a bride proclaims TaDa! you LIKE the dress.
Marlene looks like she's going to change her mind any minute after saying yes or the moment she step outside😅
Lol the first bride, what a bridezilla
I love how Randy tries to make peace with everyone, but still looks out for the bride's interests foremost! And the way the second bride cried and said "Please love this dress" to her entourage when she faced them, it was so sweet and so vulnerable! I'm so glad they supported her and what she truly on her own wedding!
They don’t seem eccentric at all to me. There’s a big difference between knowing what you want and like to being eccentric imo. The first bride and her sister have lovely eyes. Both brides look beautiful xx
When Christina Aguilera assists you to find your dress. Gotta love that 😄
The 1st bride looked stunning in the 1st dress. The dress she chose.....meh, too costumey.
The 2nd bride looked stunning in her dress.
The second bride's dress is absolutely gorgeous!
Yeah, she was adorable 🥰
She’s a darling!
I feel like she tries to hard to be different and wants people to look at her always.
I mean it’s for her wedding… people better be looking at her
Oh my! I feel sorry for that brides groom!! WOW! Marlene has a TON of growing up to do.
I think the first dress with the black veil looked amazing. It's just enough black to be differnt without being overbearing
Agreed tbh she does sound spoilt
The bride and her sister are so adorable! And when the mom said she’s getting heart palpitations I died 😂
the second bride was so sweet and lovely. I never would pick a dress like that, but it fit her so well and I hated how her entourage reacted both the first and second time!! they were like "hate it" but then "oh yeah... it looks so good on you" like WHAT????
"I want shocking, different and feathers"
*says no to all the unique dresses with feathers and blames the experts, then picks the most basic wedding dress EVER*
the 2nd bride pulled that dress off and looked so lovely! im happy she got the dress she wanted and not what others wanted her to get
I just love the second brides smile when she has her dress on. Its beautiful on her and shes glowing. It definitely fits her personality perfectly. And the first bride I love the silver dress on her. It suits her.
Let's remember that good parenting results in well mannered adults.
The first bride was very beautiful and the dress she picked was perfect for her.
The second beautiful bride is so elequloently humble! And she took looked princess perfect God Bless them all.
She looks absolutely stunning in that first gown. Perhaps if she put a black beaded sash with that dress, it would give her that uniqueness that she's looking for.
Exactly what I was thinking
The white lace dress is really lovely! A black veil is rather unusual, and I'm sure everyone at the wedding is gonna talk behind her back but since it's her wedding if she's ok with that it's her big day and her choice!🤍🖤
people are very judgemental..
To be fair, she did ask for unusual, making people talk factor. So she did get what she asked for
Its her big day but she is only bothered about jow she wants other a to react in her big day. she does not know what she want. all she wants is people to talk about her, she says her style but then she flipped away from feathers and black. looks like a confused teenager just wanting some attention
@@copperqueen1816 I get it, but I hope she is really aware of what she asked for and knows how to deal with people's gossip at the wedding, otherwise it's gonna ruin her 'big day'.
@@italianlifestyle7911 And for years/decades to come. They will not be talking about the ceremony, the couple, the food, the music, the reception or even how beautiful the bride looked. They will remember the black veil - and probably not in a positive way. Being "unique"/"different" is NOT necessarily good!
If I had a daughter trying on wedding dresses, all I would need for me to love the dress is to see the smile on her face when she wears it. It would be her that makes the dress beautiful
Mom should stop worrying about what people will say and focus on making her daughters day a day she will remember and love. Her mother is all about herself
@1:15 So awesome how Randy instantly tunes into a bride's thoughts and feelings, registers her feelings and responds - all in a split second.
The way she talks to her Mom and the consultants....Nope. Not the right way dear.
Tbh the black veil with the white dress is stunning to me
I don’t understand picking a dress because you want certain reactions from people, then turn around and say “I don’t care what anybody thinks”. If you want to be different from others, fine, but get because you like it not to garner envy or shock…
Marlene thanks far too highly of herself and is rude and entitled. The dress she chose is awful and looks awful on her.
I don't understand why these women take "entourages" to these appointments. They ask for truthful opinions then get the hump when those opinions are forthcoming but not what they want to hear.
They don’t get to choose who or how many they bring… you submit applications and they pick who will cause the most drama
By they I mean the producers lol
I thought the dress she chose was beautiful (keep in mind it’s an older episode so older styles). However it wasn’t anything like what she asked for and it certainly wasn’t edgy.
4:27 I don’t know I wouldn’t be taking any opinions from a girl with highlights like that
I think this episode proves why consultants exist, they’ve seen everything and if they have the right idea they can pick the right dresses. To us regular people, we can easily be drawn to the sparkle on the racks but these consultants know how they fit and the look they create. The dresses that look amazing on the hanger might not be right for the bride or her vision
"selling out my ideals of being different and eccentric"
Oh girl.
Marlene is such a diva, and her entourage weren't great either. Angelina was such a gem, I hope her wedding was perfect and she has a long, happy marriage.
Missing eccentricity factor?, babe you're the one who chose it.
The bride's sister is adorable. The bride is a pill. (Who goes to one of these shops expecting to find something no one else has?)
Coming from Germany I always thought of 1500€ as a normal price. Once I saw a 3000€ dress in a bridal store, loved it and knew I would never spend so much money on a dress.
Americans are 🤪 when it comes to weddings. My daughter’s best friend’s parents just spent $100,000 on her wedding. Why not use that money for a down payment on a house?
Watching the second bride cry to convince her entourage to not be mean towards her chosen dress made me sad. I don't want anyone except my immediate family to dress shop for my wedding. These cousins are appalling, watch the bride's face and body language first and then speak!
But the dress didn’t look good on her. They were just being honest.
I think the Lazaro gown was spectacular
The first dress was beautiful on the spoiled girl. So, naturally she picks something else.
"We'll just cut people from the guest list" - she has no priorities and is not afraid to show how selfish she is. I would rather have all my friends and family at my wedding than an expensive dress!!!!
The 1st dress was imo the best.
“I think you were looking for a lot more layers and a lot more texture”
Nothing more annoying than someone else trying to tell you what you want.
“I want my guests to love my dress.”
…5 minutes later…
“I don’t care what anyone else thinks.” 🙄
Even if her dress was the most unique thing on the planet, she still only wears it for the wedding day, and no one is going to say more than a couple sentences about how good she looks. If she’s so concerned about conveying her personality to her guests, she should show it in the little touches in the rest of her wedding.
Second bride Angie literally was crying begging "please love my dress"...how do you feel now entourage
Omg I watch her videos all the time. I wasn't expecting her on say yes to the dress. I have 7 birds now because of her lol.
Funny I never even thought about what my guest thought about my dress. Lol I just wanted to love it
I feel it’s commons sense, if the bride loves the dress then you love the dress. ESPECIALLY if you’re not even paying for it, you’re just there to support them
I wish more Brides( and retail customers), would be as outspoken as the "eccentric" Bride, voicing her opinions, guiding them to exactly the perfect gown!
You're kidding, right? Yes, she found a town she loved, no matter how tacky and over budget it was, but nothing she voiced would have led them to that dress. "I want black and feathers" is literally what she voiced. 😂

Wtf she is RUclipsr, has been with this boyfriend for ages and he supports her sooo much in all her crazy projects literally perfect man for her
Maggie anne I totally agree
If she loves birds so much why would she want a dead one on her dress? I don’t get it
A wedding is your desire to share your joy with others. The repeated " I don't care" certainly doesn't suggest that. Especially with her desire to cut people off of her guest list without a "care"... such arrogance and self centredness. I thank God for those yet supporting her by attending.

For someone who came in demanding something different the first bride sure did choose a very basic common dress.
Oh my gosh! Marlene looks like Randy! I wonder if they're distant relatives?
