A few days ago I was wondering if a spinning tool could do this...and now, right in front of me, here's the very thing! And, it's been around a few years as well, which means I've been under a rock. Nice tool--that's going to save a lot of time for a tradesman!
I own a set of your Spin flaring tools. I was watching a video on its use and the video mentions that the tool makes a 40 degree flare and then when you tighten it down, it will mesh with the male fitting. My question is how much time to I have after making the flare do I have to tighten it down? Most manufacturers want you to ally refrigerant oil to the copper. Will this amount of time mess up the system?
Joe Marchione copper work hardens from worked, bending and use not from age. Once the copper is annealed it will stay that way indefinitely until worked. Take your time to finish up all your tasks and don't worry
