How to create a YouTube Google AdSense account // getting monetized

Are you trying to get monetized on RUclips? Me too! Growing your RUclips channel into an income stream is a big job with lots of things you need to learn along the way. I've found out the best way to learn is just by diving in and doing them--and watching a lot of other creator's videos for help and advice on it all as I go. Figuring out how to sign up for Google AdSense and linking it to your channel is a crucial step towards getting paid on RUclips and there are NEW developments in the works at RUclips with regards to AdSense procedures that have just been announced which start this month (March 2022) and will continue to be rolled out throughout 2022.

But while they're in this transitional phase I thought I'd make this video for all my fellow growing RUclipsrs out there to show you that no you're not doing it wrong, the steps you used to take to sign up for an AdSense account are just a little different than they are listed on the Google AdSense signup help page; you now have to wait until you've met RUclips's monetization requirements BEFORE you can apply for an AdSense account. They'll let you know when you're eligible to apply. But there are a couple of things you can get lined up in advance of that magical day when you meet your requirements and get that acceptance email from AdSense.
