Step 2 Error is different for everyone's RUclips Channel and varies by what their RUclips Channel is about. My RUclips Channel is about Gaming, and there are specific guidelines I need to follow for Gaming and monetization, such as I can't have all capitalized letters in my videos. I found one video (so far) that the entire video title was all capitalized. I am currently changing the title to lowercase letters, going through all my videos, and double-checking. I have the same issue, and love to see a video about it! But I don't think you've really told us how to fix it. Sounds like youtube just fixed it for you? When I speak to the chat support, they just say that they can't see the reason and that I need to read the policies again. But as you mention, that has little to do with RUclips. It's really frustrating 😓
Yes, youtube chat immediately made a case for us and forwarded our case to Adsense and told us to wait to see what the issue was. In three weeks, it was fixed. You need to insist on RUclips chat support to create a case for you. Otherwise, they will fool around with you in circles. But, maybe you have a different issue.
Hey I applied in RUclips studio and unfortunately wasn’t approved because of duplicate account! And yes I can recall the moment I made an adsense account years ago but I totally forgot the password and the back up email 😓 ! From reading and watching RUclips videos here is what I have come up with I think a lot of people have another Adsense account they forgot about and need to close- like you did. I’ve seen videos where people close the account and apply again and get approved in a few hours. Another thing I see is people applied for Adsense outside of RUclips studio (directly through Adsense) but didn’t have a website- this is what I did months ago thinking it would speed up monetization when I got there. big mistake. So I deleted that Adsense account and made a fresh application again through RUclips studio. Now I am still stuck but I think it may be because my RUclips channel is a “brand account” I have no idea how I got a brand account….😢 I wish there was a way to get help. Everyone is tweeting them or seeking feedback in RUclips studio and they just say to keep waiting. They need to have a FAQ specifically for RUclips Adsense saying here are possible reasons and how to fix them. If they have to go to a person to be resolved how long is the wait right now? Give us all tickets and let us know where we are in line. Instead,as you mentioned, they keep sending us to a page that talks about getting your website approved! It is so frustrating!
Yes, it was very frustrating. Even with us having a ticket, it was a very long wait. I do not think having a brand account causes should cause issues. Actually, it is better to have a brand account vs. personal account from the start. So, it seems like you are stuck on step 2 error, correct? Do you have access to their chat support?

At least that gives me hope that eventually I will get approved. I tried Twitter and chat support. Chat said it takes months just wait. The answers are all over the place on Twitter.
I see. Wait until you get approved. If rejected, you can request chat support to create a ticket for you. Unfortunately, it takes this long and we cannot do anything about it.

@@yoyshin I created one before getting monetized because I thought it would speed up the process. But maybe try making another email address for your AdSense account. But don't lose hope I know it sucks having to wait but you'll get monetized, just keep watching videos and one will help.

I've been denied 3times. The 3rd time i chatted youtube chat support and i was told to hold on for some days after 5days i was denied. I closed my adsense but didn't delete it. Do have any previous violations of Google Adsense policies? Do you have duplicate accounts? If you have personal and business Adsense accounts with the same contact name, then it could be it. We had this issue. You need to close and keep only one account. I do not know what you mean by "closed but not deleted". It has to be closed for good and inaccessible by you unless you reactivate it. If you try to login to your old account and it says "Your Adsense account is closed" and there is "reactivate account" button then you did close it. If still denied, contact chat support and tell them that you closed your previous account and ask for a ticket. Otherwise, they will not help you.

As at now in my studio they said I can't do anything until after 32 days of which 32day will complete on 12th of this month August. And I don't want any denial after this again. Just wait. I know it sucks sitting and waiting. Unfortunately, it is out of your hands at this moment. We also got several rejections for our business account until we got a ticket from chat support and they solved it as I said in the video.
I have a similar case as I am switching from Personal account to Business - Monetization on Personal account worked just fine. I have closed my personal account. I got rejected on my business Adsenese account (which in the past 5 years ago I tried to use for a website but did not get approved - which was a mistake). I have close that account as well, opened brand new account on new email account, also got rejected. RUclips support is absolutely not helpful, they just repeat the same generic answer. Was there any magic word that got you to get YT support to raise ticket with AdSense?
That's a pity. We could have been lucky with the rep we got. He agreed to help almost immediately and opened a ticket for us. Try different times of the day, maybe tell them how dire your situation is.

Don't remember specifically, but we insisted that they open a ticket for us and investigate why there is an issue, as we didn't see any problem from our side.
Hello Andriy, We are unable to get RUclips Support to redirect our ticket to Google AdSense's internal team. Since moving abroad, we had to change our Google AdSense account. We have a 1.1M YT channel and made around 25K on montly Ad revenue. However, every attempt to apply a new Google Adsense account has been disapproved. 50 thousand dollars has been lost and 60 days have passed. I no longer know what to do. All replies we get are generic. There's no one looking at this issue.

It is difficult to tell why you were denied. The reasons I describe in this video are different from yours. We satisfied RUclips Partners program criteria. Our problem was with Google Adsense. It seems like RUclips does not like the type of content on your channel. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you why. Reasons are specific to each RUclipsr. The best you can do is to ask for specific reasons from RUclips. It is possible they won't tell you. Then the best you can do is to carefully read through community guidelines, terms of service and anything else you can find on internet. Then, compare those guidelines to your channel and see if you can correct these issues. I see little point in reapplying if they keep rejecting you. Is it the type of videos you put out? I noticed you have silent videos on your channel. Maybe RUclips does not see value in monetizing them (don't know, just a speculation). You also have tons of hashtags in your descriptions that look like spamming. Again, I do not know for sure. It is worth researching and finding similar cases to yours and see how people resolved it.

Based on the people's review I used to change thumbnails. Is it a reason to reject my adsense account. For the last 2 months I did not do that. I just added a thumbnail for the first time. Hi I just got eligibility to become monetized on my channel and accidentally used the same name for a existing adsense account when submitting for the second step. Later that day I received a message saying "You already have a Google publisher account. Sign in to your existing account to access AdSense. Or close your other accounts and submit your application to create an account again", The thing is I don't want to close my original account that is already monitizied I just want to use a different name when will I be able to change it? Is it after 2-3 weeks or later? Also I am out of luck at chat since I already tried and they are not willing to help
In our case, once we received the error message, we could have associated a different account in Adsense right away. You probably want to start over the application. I do not know why you cannot try a new adsense account. It is not surprising that the chat support is refusing to help you. You have to be persistent and persuade them to open a ticket for you.

It is hard to tell. There could be many reasons. One of the most common has to do with the type of content (does not provide value) or bad/spammy descriptions. You can read policies and rules for RUclips partner program and try to see if where you fall short. This is all I can suggest.

It is hard to tell. Maybe it has to do with the type of your content. RUclips requires that content must be original and non-repetitious. Also, they do not like videos showing only photos. This is exactly what is happening to me now. RUclips support told me they could help me. I now deleted the new account business account I created as well, hoping it would help. I am not sure if I should create the new adsense account with a brand new gmail account. Any advice, extremely welcome
Multiple accounts with the same name is a big no-no with Adsense. Even business and individual accounts with the same name may cause problems. Only one account must exist before applying.
My account got suspended even tho i have never posted any bad content or got a full copyright strike and the only way to "contact" someone is throught a community FAQ and literally have to rely on random people to help ugh
I think they are different. Adsense is for receiving income from displaying ads on websites/RUclips, Google ads is for businesses to advertise products.
Where is HOW to in this?? Okay you were a partner already. how does that solve other people's problem. Do you even have a clue what HOW TO FIX means? Apparently not. Stop wasting people's time babbling for ten minutes solving nothing.

If you use a name other than yours, then it should work. You will need to have that person prove his/her identity though.

Also I am having 2 copyright claims. Not a strike. I received claims for audios only. Not for content. Should I delete those videos to get approved?

It is hard to tell. There could be many reasons. One of the most common has to do with the type of content (does not provide value) or bad/spammy descriptions. You can read policies and rules for RUclips partner program and try to see if where you fall short. This is all I can suggest.

When you signed up as RUclipsr, you gave consent to Google to earn revenues from ads without sharing it with you until you join the partner program.

I applied for toutube adsense in second step. I got rejected that does not meet program criteria. But i have completed 1100 subs and 6000 hrs watctime within 6 months. I also talked to YT team and they emailed me same that does not meet program criteria. I am unable to understand the issue because i completes all requirement and neber violated any auch policy. Kindly help me whats going wronh. 😢
It is hard to tell. Maybe it has to do with the type of your content. RUclips requires that content must be original and non-repetitious. Also, they do not like videos showing only photos. This is exactly what is happening to me now. RUclips support told me they could help me. I now deleted the new account business account I created as well, hoping it would help. I am not sure if I should create the new adsense account with a brand new gmail account. Any advice, extremely welcome
Multiple accounts with the same name is a big no-no with Adsense. Even business and individual accounts with the same name may cause problems. Only one account must exist before applying.

My account got suspended even tho i have never posted any bad content or got a full copyright strike and the only way to "contact" someone is throught a community FAQ and literally have to rely on random people to help ugh

Is Adsense an google ads the same
I think they are different. Adsense is for receiving income from displaying ads on websites/RUclips, Google ads is for businesses to advertise products.
