Oh, very cool. It is a life saver in stock photography.

When you look at towers on sectional charts, the upper number is in feet above mean sea level (MSL), while the number in parentheses is in feet above ground level (AGL). So, the highest point of a lighted tower for question 3 is at 1,104 feet above MSL or 1,054 feet AGL. You need to know that there is a rule for flying drones with at least 500 feet clearance from a cloud cover. So, if a cloud cover is 700 AGL, you cannot fly higher than 200 feet AGL (700 - 500). Because you need at least 500 feet clearance from the cloud cover, just add 500 feet to highest point of our tower. So the answer can be either 1,604 feet MSL or 1,554 feet AGL. Since we don't see a choice for 1,554 feet AGL, the correct answer is B (1,604 feet MSL). The question does not tell you where cloud cover is. It is rather a hypothetical question: what if there is a cloud cover and you need 500 feet clearance? Let me know if this explanation solves it for you.

@@BlokhinFilms I have pretty much the same as you. Adobe, Shutterstock, Pond5 (I just set up a new exclusive account for better returns) I also have Getty, Deposit Photos and Dreamstime. Really I am focusing more on creating perhaps just 2 or 3 great portfolios instead of being across so many outlets. I will most likely end up with Adobe, Pond5 and Getty - Shutterstocks attitude to creators is not good and the other two are too low volume sales for me to invest my time. I have been highly active on BlackBox but, I feel it is more for a hobbyist than a full time creator so I will be investing less time into them moving forward.

That is what we discovered, too. Our sales at depositphotos and dreamstime were nonexistant, and we stopped uploading there. Maybe it has to do with the type of content we produce. Don't really know. Not worth the effort.

Yes, we stayed in Faros, Therma, Agios Kirykos, Karkinagri, Magganitis, Raches, Karavostamo and Perdiki. We used Airbnb to book accommodations. We may have a blog post soon on our blog blokhinfilms com with all places listed.

I think most stock agencies will accept photos from Android phone if they are of acceptable quality. We sell very few phone photos, but they are accepted by major ones (Shutterstock, Adobe, etc). You can choose to go exclusive or not. We sell everywhere non exclusively and retain our copyright. You always retain copyright when selling photos, exclusive or not.

@BlokhinFilms which ones are the best stock agencies to make s reasonable income. There are so many stick agencies out there. I really want to give it a go i just don't want to make any irrational decision

Yes, exactly. Before we submit, we copy jpegs for each stock agency separately to each folder. There are several reasons for that, mainly file size and not everyone accepts editorial. But, we do not do that manually though. We use small Python script that does that for us automatically based on that tracking sheet I showed in the tutorial. Without our script, I don't know if I would do that. It could be too much work copying stuff manually to separate folders.

Not when we were there, but it must depend on the time of day. It is only accessible once per year for non Chase Sapphire members, so there is a limit. Never been to the Capitol One lounge.

The mossy forest is very near the trailhead, max 1 mile, I believe, probably less.

Recorded on October 6 two years ago. There may still be some foliage left, just depends on the weather this week.

Haha, it depends on the gimbal and it takes some time to learn how to use it. We also had somewhat shaky footage at first, but learned on our mistakes and since then the footage has been incomparable to handheld.

The road was fine, local governments take care of icy roads for the most part there. But, we also did not have much snow either. I guess we were lucky.

There are a few patches on ring road, but they are drivable. Of course, if you plan on taking side roads to drive up to certain landmarks, it could be rough. But the ring road itself is not an issue.

Thanks for watching. Well, it all comes down to preferences. Micro four-thirds do provide great video quality and are fairly compact. I am a bit biased towards full-frame cameras though, like fx3. They have many bells and whistles that can make video recording a great experience. Also, full-frame sensors generally speaking have a better performance, especially in low-light situations. Maybe, the difference won't be that much noticeable, but it can be. And of course full frame cameras are more expensive. It is a personal decision. I personally would go with full-frame, but one can argue that four-thirds could be good enough for starters and stock videos, which don't demand the highest quality possible. We still own and shoot videos with nikon full frame dslr 8-bit recording. I have to work around its shortcomings, but the stock video quality is decent enough.

I read that these keywords are treated differently. Same with theater vs theatre. I guess we should include both and sometimes we do, if that keyword is very important for the photo (or video).

I think it is doable, just depends on which videos you watch and if they cover all necessary areas on the test.
