GROW TIKTOK IN 1 MONTH
- 3 vids/day at least for 1st month
- max 5 hashtags, combine general and specific ones
- be 1st person to post/comment your video (should be a question to have more engagement)
- subtitle your videos (e.g., for the deaf)
- ask yourself about what (free) values your video offer
- no need to have a niche to begin, explore first
- include the niche in username
- have content calendar to organize
- Money: Tiktok offers for partner creator, sponsorship
- Tools: Tiktok built-in app, iMovie, Tripod

A short conclusion of the video:
1. Be the first person to like and comment on your video.
2. If your first comment is the question, it promotes people to answer it. By doing so, you improve engagement.
3. Include 5 hashtags maximum in the caption of your video. Make a specific and general hashtags combination.
1. Make creative content
2. Make 3-5 videos a day (3 weeks to a month)
3. Use 2-3 big hashtags, 2-3 precise hashtags
4. Like + comment your own posts
5. Subtitle your vid
6. Username/bio description

Another good reason for creating subtitles is that people who are just watching instead of listening will watch for longer. I'll watch videos for information on RUclips but if I'm out and about and don't have headphones I just rely on the subtitles. Or even if I'm home and someone else is watching the tv but I can't be bothered getting off the couch to get my headphones! XD
I am so grateful for the experience that building a RUclips channel comes with. It’s hard & exhausting but it will all be worth it. Keep going guys this is just the beginning for us!

Howdy Sarah - thank you for the the excellent information - I’m going to try 1-3 videos per day for a month and see what that will do to my following. Also great to know on splitting up the 5 hashtags to general and specific ones. Freedom to try different types of videos at the beginning is fantastic as well, to see what works / doesn’t work before dialing in on a niche. Thank you again for the inspiration!
