When do you think the 3rd World Tree will be Burned? Also Hyjal when?
Hyjal on the 20th. Lawl, but for real this zone should be completed with quests/new lore and added to classic vanilla.
If SoD and consequently Classic + are to be successful they need to have horizontal progression. I and many others would pay twice as much a month to get new content every 6-12 months past Naxx. Just no new level caps, you get to 60 and you stay 60 forever.
They finished Mount Hyjal on Turtlewow. There is even a raid and everything
Battle of Mt Hyjal was a CoT raid in TBC before it was a zone in Cata. It was actually very cool because it felt like that same epic battle in Warcraft 3, where you try to hold the line against demons and stuff, only to get pushed back further and further til you get to the tree itself

Who needs to go up Mt Hyjal when we ca go inside? Winterspring’s Southern pass leads to an instance portal! Let that be in the corrupted roots of Mt. Hyjal?! Old Gods Vs Legion and maybe some dragons and Firbolg in the mix!
i dont expect much in phase 4 as there's so much freakin content to chose from they can just go and revamp a couple of 10 man instances and MC first
If they do change stuff and add their REAL classic + content this might be in the next phase as they wouldn't be able to fix all this in the few weeks dev time they have currently

alternate time line would fix everything,
after last raid a portal opens up and once you walk through it you enter a new time line and ALL your stuff (Money, gear, consumes, professions) are wiped in this new time line. Just a level 60 of your class stripped and you pick up basic gear as you walk to the NEW starting zone for this new time line.
(you can always go back to the last time line to play with your old stuff, BUT! all the new content is behind the time line portal)
This truly fixes everything.
the thing with alternate timeline is tricky in WoW since so much lore is in novels. so alternate novels had to be released as well?
@@bohne8746 If you want, it's a whole new time line. ANYTHING is possible. Blood elves could stay with the alliance, worgens could side with the Horde. OR different races ALLTOGETHER! we could visit different lands and different outcomes could happen that leads to different friends or enemies.
I dont think they'll do an alternate timeline for anything in SOD. I believe they said already that everything in SOD is canon, and all the stuff we've been doing for the "shadowy figure" has basically been little lore breadcrumbs that have led to Xalatath's release in retail, or something, I don't really know cause I haven't played any of that content in retail.
I could see them doing a "temporary" thing where the adventurers go into Hyjal to investigate an unusual magic phenomenon, or maybe certain druids "felt something" through the emerald dream, and realized something is going on in Hyjal, so Malfurion asks us, the valiant collectors of scout reports during the nightmare incursions, to go into Hyjal and investigate. At the end of the questline we put down some threat, tell Malfurion to close it up again, and we go on our merry way as if nothing ever happened.
Ye, as it stands right now, in the current timeline, the game is a tie-in to TWW, with Xalatath most likely being behind all the crafting questlines (not 100%, but I'd bet money she is). If they do what I said, it would essentially be finishing the OG Vanilla plans, but they'd have to tweak it to make sense. Realistically, the best way to do this would be for something to happen to shift to "alternate timeline". Again, unlikely, but it's an interesting look at the OG storylines.
We need the Hyjal Classic raid sooo frickin bad, and Gilneas zone/raid/dungeon, Azshara Furbolg raid, Uldum raid etc. etc.
Got a strong feeling they will. Classic + is becoming a reality
