a causals dont do difficult content that midcore players, causals play to relax and have fun and playing with casual mindset. also ppl you hate seem to be solo player they aint the same and they aint worth hating solo players exist in mmorpgs today then raiders. you never meet toxic causla in raids becuase to be in a raid is to seek to challange yourself that by default make you a midcore player and removed to right to be casual. as for the way you talk about the so called midcore play you act as like he raped your wife it is JUST A GAME at the end and you mental ill lv of hate is clear sign of toxic elitist pass his prime.

Its only elite players who play 24 7 that want a fresh. The only reason they want that is because that type of player max eveything in 2 day get way ahead and then quit for months and fall behind. Then because they are not at an advantage they wine for a new game so they can be on the top again instead of the people that stayed and put in work.

Not even 50% of our 300 ppl guild did return. So no, not everyone. But lets be clear, its quite good at this moment and i clearly wont rush it anymore.

What? The most populated PvP server in my region is still completely dead 2 days into SOD. When I log into the same region Cataclysm server it is absolutely popping. Sorry but SOD is a failed experiment. Couldn’t tell you exactly where it went wrong but the proof is in the pudding - people don’t want to play it

can't confirm. My guild was 40+ players strong in the beginning of p3, only 6 returned so far. no hype, just fatigue

Very much enjoying the new content and I'm glad it's there, but I do feel like DFC is another classic case of "fuck melee dps players, amirite?" Every other mob cleaves or has immo aura. Along with some of the boss mechanics being very melee unfriendly. Mass aoe and even 360 Degree cleaves and weird "backtals" Hellscream straight up grabbed me and stood in the bladestorm. Cool content tho. I will say that guy looks nothing like Gromash lol. Had a paladin healer so maybe it affected things for my little kitty butt.

I'd agree on the brm being fun when you don't need to get into a dungeon/raid in there. Pushing into the mountain with like 8 others was fun. Trying get into brd, not so much,

As a brand new wow player I have enjoyed sod. I also liked classic but have mainly focused on sod for now

They are idiotic for shutting off Incursions at level 53 and locking people out of rep rewards and runes.

I am hyped! So much stuff to do in game, at least now while I'm leveling. Will see how it goes down the line but so far so good. I wish getting runes was much easier, at least for alts. With this new additions every class is worth trying but rune acquiring is such a big constraint. Hopefully they do something about it. Keep the good content coming, cheers!

Definitely liking p4 crazy how many people are hating so hard it’s just an extra game mode experiment. It’s fun for what it is definitely liking the rank 10 grind

I'm hyped because the guild I'm a part of (Trinket) came back, and we're all psyched to raid and do some amazing wpvp. Not to mention it's great going out and questing through the world is a great and viable way to level. Not necessarily being confined to walls of a dungeon to get good xp. This phase is a home run so far.

Was this sarcasm? out of 45 raiders, we had 4 come back for phase 4. There are no High pop servers. 15-20 people in IF (Living flame) I could join a new guild, but I started classic with my friends and we moved to SOD. Happy to hear your having fun.

My guild is dead, alliance can’t or won’t PvP on crusader strike. I’m stuck at lvl 51. Hoping I get on the same time my 7/350 guildies get on to help me lvl, but those who play seem to already be past all the content I need. Idk, I think I’m gonna finish summer. The sun feels great! This phase drop in July is a huge miss for me….

It's the only mmo I come back to regularly. That loooong Darth Tanathon arc is one of my most memorable gaming experiences. I just couldn't go to bed towards the end before I see this asshole crawling before my inquisitor because i grew to hate that soab so hard, that's how well written the main storyline is.

It is literally that the only people talking are being negative. That's usually how online discourse is. It's an echo chamber of complaining, because studies show humans are just WAY more likely to express and latch onto negative views. Avoiding the needless negativity is the easiest way to enjoy anything.

Pvpers should pvp themselves irl. They need to make wow a single player game

I can perfectly imagine they make a legendary quest with a shit ton of mats and stuff to do to upgrade your legendary in phase 5 or 6 when Maxx or AQ come around

Blizzard/Activision tried to shutdown Turtle a year ago, they got their social media down for a short while but nothing more. Turtle WoW has been online for 5 years and had 3/4 of Nostalrius' population prior to SoD (~6k currently), Big B had all the time in the world to shut them down but the server is still online. There's the common misconception that cease and desist letters force private servers to shut down but depending on in wich juridiction (country) they are, Blizzard can't do much. They send them because they are legally obligated to do so because of copyrights laws. For instance, Nostalrius chose to shut down as an act of good faith towards blizzard and force them to open classic servers. Most pservers that aren't hosted in the US just throw the cease and desist letter in the bin and continue operating as if nothing happened. Also about the payment issues. Look at Warmane, it has been the biggest pserver for nearly a decade (except nost etc) with an insane cash shop. They receive C&D letters left and right and they still are operating, they make a fuckton of money every years thanks to that cash shop. They do NOT sell Blizzard assets. They sell a virtual "points" that allow to be EXCHANGED for in game items. Nothing is illegal about selling virtual points for real money. That's why these pserver can operate without having to worry about getting shut down too much.
