How did classic fresh or HC fresh go?

Personally, what killed wow for many is the community. At first, we had large guilds, we couldn't change transfer servers nor change caracter names. This made us create an comunity of people that made freionds ect. competition between us ect. hen came renames and transfers. it made the game less interesting lsoing your "freinds" not to mention easy mode. When we had a pruple item, we were known, looked at ect, not anymore. All of this sinple changes made Wow crash and lose people. That,s why classic was a nice come back. That's what people wanted. A sense of acomplishment, not easy mode.

"re-entry" feature AKA remove lvling from classic. STFU BLIZZARD.

I played wow from the beginning all the way to SOd and to be honest im just sick of the game, its nothing like it used to be

If they did a constinuing of SOD into TBC id play, Sod became Trash.. they gave you op runes to have fun with and in phase 1 and 2 they started nerfing the shit out of them so I quit. Blizzard is just trash when it comes to what people want or they do it on purpose, either way I aint giving them a dime till then wise the fk up

Much appreciated your take on AoC, well said too. I do disagree with what was said at 8:20. Personally I don't think we'll ever be able to hit that same "earthquake of magic" that WoW gave us in 2004. Simply because technology wasn't really there yet. Social media didn't rule our minds and world. I played back in 2007-2010 and I really don't think AoC will have that same impact. Not saying that the foundation of what its trying to bring isn't magnificent and magical; it definitely is. Just haven't been able to see all that much in this Alpha with the game being 9 years in development.

Guild banks make sense-better than one guy with an alt holding everything. Barbershop is fine with new hairstyles. Making every spec relevant is fine. Not like vanilla was ever balanced. But don’t add new classes. Shaman should stay Horde, Pally should stay Alliance. New races such as Ogres and Worgen are fine but keep Goblins neutral. New continents such as Northrend are fine, but make them dramatically different from future expansion versions and keep classic janky graphics. New mounts should be incredibly rare. Un Goro raptor makes sense to counter the Alliance wintersaber. Maybe the rank mounts from BG’s but let them be arena rewards. Yes to arenas. Absolutely no transmog. No flying mounts. Add in unfinished zones like Hyjal, new BG’s, raids-but gear that rivals current tiers with different set bonuses aimed at boosting different class specs. New world bosses. Summoning stones outside dungeons are fine. No LFG. No raid scaling. Hard versions of raids with the only twist of dropping more loot and titles. Titles should be very rare, don’t go overboard. Not against new legendary weapons if achieving them are epic. Every class should be able to get at least one. Fun secret toys like what MoP did with rare spawns.

lotro captain from the arkenstone server here. sometimes the game lags is because of the war in the ettenmoores(yes the craid vs fraid gets nuts sometimes) like defending lugz you would have the creeps defending their keep so the freeps needs to fight both nps and the creeps especially trying to take their keep on a 24 craid vs 24 fraid. When you see the 2 red squares with yellow arrows going up below your morale/power bar it means the freeps won the war in the ettenmoores. And yeah it could be the timing since alot of players do have jobs.

You have to remember they have limited resources it's not like world of warcraft where they have unlimited funding and money they have been slowly working on the lag and the game once you get into higher content it's really good and the raids are fun the combat is actually pretty well done as well you just have to get use to it thats all, it's not world of warcraft where everything is pew pew.

Among the MMO community we call this game "the special one", it is only MMO dedicated to middle earth and it's dear to it's heart to many online gamers. The game has improved a lot and more is coming. This year (2024) LoTRO is/was most updated MMO and they are working very hard to deliver and please the community. New servers 64bit are coming which means less lag, you forgot to mention that LoTRO has this little option that can make the game for you while leveling "very hard", there's a landscape NPC that can change the difficulty of the mobs tenfold, if you wish. The game is wonderful in so many aspects. Story, questing, THE WORLD, even with those graphics the landscapes are one of the best.

LOTRO is amazing! Arkenstone Server! Much Love! But Bruh its not 2025 yet.

I tried this game waayy back in like 2010 or something and enjoyed my time though short. I've really been itching to try it again today. Real curious to see how it'll hold up

thanks for the video been playing this since i bought it from blockbuster in 2007 its a huge world and very similar i think to classic wow in terms of feel and community its a very special game we are all the way to Harad now when back in 2007 i thought we would barely make it to Moria and i just play classic wow to get my endgame fix but both games keep me satisfied.

why is fresh realms progressing so fast, I am the highest level toon in my guild and Im only 56, now that phase 2 has been presented as right around the corner many of the guilds members say they are done with the realms, I am new to classic but have been more or less no lifing the game for the past month, looks like my year or two journey in the fresh realms may be coming to an early close,

Everyone is experiencing Sunk-cost fallacy with AoC. Spending 120$ for an alpha test of a game that has been in development for what? 8 years now? And really doesn't have much to show for something being in development for 8 years and the amount of funding they have been given from their bundles and such. Yeah somethings are being done right, but what took so long? Where did all that money go? Cuz right now it looks like it's only been in development for 1-2 years. Doesn't look any different from anything else that's been thrown out, and died on arrival like New World(or other "NEXT BIG MMO"s). The difference between Star Citizen and AoC. SC has Chris Roberts. A KNOWN developer who treats his games as passion projects and is KNOWN to keep pushing the limits. Freelancer was gonna have almost all the features of SC, and microsoft had to rush and threaten Roberts to release. Stevens is a known MLM shill, and known to be part of scams. He's not trustworthy at all. I'm not defending SC cuz it's scummy too, but at least has something to show. AoC really doesn't show 8 years worth of development with that kind of budget.

Private servers didn’t have such a warrior problem due to armor values for instance. World buffs are also a contribution. The world buffs favor melee over casters We have dual spec in the game because people hate respec costs, but that problem could have been handled way better with other methods than dual spec.

The new honor system combined with AV is a mistake. Dual spec is a mistake. Many little gameplay changes overtime have been mistakes. There have been stealth nerfs to some classes that were made due to tbc,wrath,som, or SoD changes. Look how they butchered the inferno spell for warlocks.

Im playing SoD since P1, its still amazing, the only Classic+ experiance we will ever get imo, we got a couple of new builds, melee hunter, mage healer, shaman tank etc, new skills, new loot, new dungeons, raids ,mechanics etc. I love it and will play until the end of it, Naxx and whatever is next. Most likely ill bury my thunderfury after that and not come back to WoW Classic ever again, maybe in real Classic + but I dont think that will ever come out.
